Parkinsonism-hyperpyrexia syndrome (PHS) is a rare but potentially fatal condition in patients with Parkinson’s disease. Deep brain stimulation (DBS) is a widely used and efficacious treatment for advanced Parkinson’s disease. Here, we report a case of PHS in a patient who first underwent withdrawal of antiparkinsonian medications and then bilateral subthalamic nucleus DBS. Patients should be advised to gradually decrease rather than suddenly stop antiparkinsonian medications when they must stop taking a medication and antiparkinsonian medications should be reintroduced as soon as possible after surgery.

By conducting a two-dimensional experimental study,this paper aims to enhance the understanding of the mechanism of sand convective motions in the vicinity of a wall subjected to long-term cyclic lateral loadings.The experimental tests were conducted in a rectangular sandbox with a transparent front-wall,through which the process of sand particle motions could be recorded by using a high-resolution digital camera.The images were processed with a high time-resolved PIV(Particle Image Velocimetry)system.Based on the experimental data,this work(1)presents the sand flow field in the convective zones;(2)provides means to describe the convection mechanism;(3)proposes the relationships between the loading conditions and dimensions of the region with intense sand movement;and(4)elaborates the similarity of the sand flow velocity structure within the sand convective zones.

Stroke is the main cause of disability in the middle and old age.Hemiplegia,especially lower limb paralysis,often leads to the loss of self-care ability and a series of secondary injuries.The main method to improve hemiplegic limb movement is exercise therapy,but there are still many patients with disabilities after rehabilitation treatment.As one of the non-pharmacological therapies for stroke,acupuncture has been recognized to improve motor function in patients.Here,we propose a new method,anterior sciatic nerve acupuncture,which can stimulate both the femoral nerve and the sciatic nerve.We designed this study to determine the effect of this method on lower limb motor function.Sixty participants recruited with hemiplegia after cerebral infarction will be randomly assigned to the test group or control group in a 1:1 ratio.The control group will receive Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture,and the test group will receive anterior sciatic nerve acupuncture on this basis.All participants will get acupuncture treatment once a day,6 times a week for 2 weeks.The primary outcome is Fugl-Meyer Assessment of Lower Extremity and the secondary outcomes are Modified Ashworth Scale and Modified Barthel Index.Data will be collected before treatment,1week after treatment,and 2 weeks after treatment,and then statistical analysis will be performed.This study can preliminarily verify the effect of anterior sciatic nerve acupuncture on improving lower limb motor function in patients with cerebral infarction,which may provide an alternative approach for clinical treatment of hemiplegia.

目的观察丘脑底核(subthalamic nucleus,STN)脑深部电刺激术(deep brain stimulation,DBS)对Meige综合征(Meige syndrome)患者焦虑、抑郁的影响。方法回顾性纳入2016年4月至2022年1月航空总医院行STN-DBS治疗的25例Meige综合征患者,比较患者术前与术后≥1年的汉密尔顿焦虑量表(Hamilton anxiety scale,HAMA)评分、汉密顿抑郁量表(Hamilton depression scale,HAMD)评分和Burke-Fahn-Marsden肌张力障碍运动评分量表(Burke-Fahn-Marsden dystonia rating scale,BFMDRS)评分的差异;采用Spearman相关性分析焦虑、抑郁改善程度与BFMDRS改善程度、运动障碍改善程度、功能障碍改善程度的相关性。结果Meige综合征患者STN-DBS治疗≥1年时其HAMA评分、HAMD评分和BFMDRS评分均较治疗前下降(均P0.05),HAMD评分改善率与BFMDRS评分改善率和运动障碍评分改善率、功能障碍评分改善率均无相关性(均P>0.05)。结论STN-DBS能明显改善Meige综合征患者焦虑、抑郁水平,且焦虑症状改善与运动症状改善相关。

Bifunctional metal/zeolite materials are some of the most suitable catalysts for the direct hydroalkylation of benzene to cyclohexylbenzene.The overall catalytic performance of this reaction is strongly influenced by the hydrogenation,which is dependent on the metal sizes.Thus,systematically investigating the metal size effects in the hydroalkylation of benzene is essential.In this work,we successfully synthesized Ru and Pd nanoparticles on Sinopec Composition Materials No.1 zeolite with various metal sizes.We demonstrated the size-dependent catalytic activity of zeolite-supported Ru and Pd catalysts in the hydroalkylation of benzene,which can be attributed to the size-induced hydrogen spillover capability differences.Our work presents new insights into the hydroalkylation reaction and may open up a new avenue for the smart design of advanced metal/zeolite bi-functional catalysts.

Hydrogen Incorporation in Crystalline Jadeite: Insight from First Principles Calculations

Hydrogen incorporation is critical for explaining defect energies, structure parameters and other physical characteristics of minerals and understanding mantle dynamics. This work analyzed the hydrogen complex defects in jadeite by the plane-wave pseudo-potential method based on density functional theory, and optimized the atomic positions and lattice constants in all configurations （different defective systems）. Incorporation mechanisms considered for hydrogen （H） in jadeite include：（1） hydrogen incorporating with the 02 site oxygen and coexisting with M2 vacancy; （2） one H atom combined with an AI atom replacing Si in tetrahedron; （3） 4H atoms directly replacing Si in tetrahedron and （4） 3H atoms replacing Al on the M1 site. The four incorporation mechanisms mentioned above form the corresponding VNa-Hi, Alsi-Hi, Vsi-4Hi and VAr3Hi point defects. The molecular dynamics simulation to the ideal, VNa-Hi, Alsi-Hi, Vsi-4Hi and VAr3Hi point defects under the P-T conditions of 900 K, 2 GPa, the Vsa-Hi and Alsi-Hi point defects under different pressures at T = 900 K, and Alsj-Hj point defects under different temperatures at P = 3 GPa was performed to examine the preferential mode of hydrogen incorporation in jadeite by means of first-principles calculations. The calculations show that the averaged O-H bond-length in the hydrogen point defects system decreased in the order of Alsi-Hi, VNa-HI, Vsl-4Hf and VAI-3Hi. VNa-HI complex defects result in a contraction of the jadeite volume and the presence of Alsi-Hi, Vsi-4H~ and VAI-3Hi defects could increase the superceli volume, which is the most obvious in the VAt-3Hi defects. The energy of formation of Also-HI and VA[-3HI complex defects was much lower than that of other defect systems. The VAI-3Hi defects system has the lowest energy and the shortest O-H bond-length, suggesting that this system is the most favorable. The analytical results of vacancy formation energy, O-H bond- length, and the stability of the hydrogen defects in jadeite have suggested that the preferred

This paper investigates the recoil control of the deepwater drilling riser system with nonlinear tension force and energy-bounded friction force under the circumstances of limited network resources and unreliable communication.Different from the existing linearization modeling method,a triangle-based polytope modeling method is applied to the nonlinear riser system.Based on the polytope model,to improve resource utilization and accommodate random data loss and communication delay,an asynchronous gain-scheduled control strategy under a hybrid event-triggered scheme is proposed.An asynchronous linear parameter-varying system that blends input delay and impulsive update equation is presented to model the nonlinear networked recoil control system,where the asynchronous deviation bounds of scheduling parameters are calculated.Resorting to the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method,some solvable conditions of disturbance attenuation analysis and recoil control design are derived such that the resulting networked system is exponentially mean-square stable with prescribed H∞performance.The obtained numerical results verified that the proposed nonlinear networked control method can achieve a better recoil response of the riser system with less transmission data compared with the linear control method.

The specialized equipment utilized in long-line tunnel engineering is evolving towards large-scale,multifunctional,and complex orientations.The vibration caused by the high-frequency units during regular operation is supported by the foundation of the units,and the magnitude of vibration and the operating frequency fluctuate in different engineering contexts,leading to variations in the dynamic response of the foundation.The high-frequency units yield significantly diverse outcomes under different startup conditions and times,resulting in failure to meet operational requirements,influencing the normal function of the tunnel,and causing harm to the foundation structure,personnel,and property in severe cases.This article formulates a finite element numerical computation model for solid elements using three-dimensional elastic body theory and integrates field measurements to substantiate and ascertain the crucial parameter configurations of the finite element model.By proposing a comprehensive startup timing function for high-frequency dynamic machines under different startup conditions,simulating the frequency andmagnitude variations during the startup process,and suggesting functions for changes in frequency and magnitude,a simulated startup schedule function for high-frequency machines is created through coupling.Taking into account the selection of the transient dynamic analysis step length,the dynamic response results for the lower dynamic foundation during its fundamental frequency crossing process are obtained.The validation checks if the structural magnitude surpasses the safety threshold during the critical phase of unit startup traversing the structural resonance region.The design recommendations for high-frequency units’dynamic foundations are provided,taking into account the startup process of the machine and ensuring the safe operation of the tunnel.

为研究不同绕组结构对五相电机的影响,在现行单绕组及星形-五边形组合绕组的基础上,该文提出三种新型组合绕组:五边形-星形绕组、五角星-星形绕组与星形-五角星绕组。首先,建立绕组磁动势模型与电压不平衡系数(VUF)计算模型,利用有限元方法计算电机绕组磁动势(MMF)谐波含量、电压不平衡系数。其次,制作15kW五相感应电机,并以此为样机对不同绕组结构五相感应电机开路故障下的稳态性能进行分析。仿真及实验结果表明,对于单绕组结构,开路状态下五边形绕组最有利于电机运行;而对于组合式绕组,该文提出的五边形-星形绕组相比于现行的星形-五边形绕组,既有磁动势谐波含量低的优点,又可以进一步减小电压不平衡系数,提高可带负载转矩,更有利于电机在开路情况下运行。
