经过数十年的努力,CIP从秘鲁和玻利维亚及周边国家收集了142个野生马铃薯种的2118个品系以及7个栽培种的4640个品系。与此同时,CIP对这些进行了分类和鉴定,从中筛选出抗病毒、早熟、抗晚疫病、抗旱、高产和适合不同生态环境的优良品系,建立了不同的育种群体。中国从20世纪70年代末开始引进CIP马铃薯种质资源。引进的CIP高代品系资源(试管苗)部分经评价后直接应用于生产、部分作为亲本用于马铃薯育种中。引进的实生种子直接用于新品种选育。充分利用CIP引进马铃薯种质资源(试管苗和实生种子)将对我国马铃薯新品种选育及马铃薯生产起到巨大的推动作用。

Effects of the Pesticide <i>Furadan</i>on Traits Associated with Reproduction in Wild Potato Species

Natural populations of wild potato species are the backups for the diversity held in genebanks for research and breeding. Some potato species are known to grow in close proximity to cultivated fields, thus are potentially impacted by human activity, including exposure to pesticides. The present study tested the effects of a common pesticide on reproductive traits of potatoes known to grow in or near pesticide-treated fields in central Peru. Furadan? 4F, an insecticide— nematicide (common name = carbofuran) was applied at two different rates to populations representing 15 wild potato species in a greenhouse environment in Peru. Flowering duration of these populations was usually significantly reduced in comparison to a water control, and in a few cases, percent viable pollen also was. These findings suggest that agrichemicals may be having unintentional effects on wild potato populations in ways that could compromise their genetic diversity.

Au nanoclusters (AuNCs) hold tremendous potential to be employed in a wide variety of biological applications. Despite the rapid development in the field of NCs synthesis, a comprehensive understanding of how cells interact with this class of ultra-small nanoparticles (<2 nm) having defined sizes and surface chemistry, remains poorly understood. In this study, we show that the choice of the surface ligand used to protect AuNCs can significantly perturb cellular uptake and intracellular redox signaling. A panel of monodisperse, atomically precise AuNCs with different core Au atom number (i.e., Au15, Au18 and Au25) protected with either mercaptopropionic acid (MPA) or glutathione (GSH) capping agent were synthesized and their effects on the generation of intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS), cytotoxicity and genotoxicity of the NCs were assessed. Both mitochondrial superoxide anion (O2 ·−) and cytoplasmic ROS were found to be higher in cells exposed to MPA but not GSH capped AuNCs. The unregulated state of intracellular ROS is correlated to the amount of internalized AuNCs. Interestingly, MPA-AuNCs induction of ROS level did not lead to any detrimental cellular effects such as cell death or DNA damage. Instead, it was observed that the increase in redox status corresponded to higher cellular metabolism and proliferative capacity. Our study illustrates that surface chemistry of AuNCs plays a pivotal role in affecting the biological outcomes and the new insights gained will be useful to form the basis of defining specific design rules to enable rational engineering of ultra-small complex nanostructures for biological applications.

Optical Path Length,Temperature,and Wavelength Effects Simulation on Ozone Gas Absorption Cross Sections towards Green Communications

Ozone is a green house gas. Ozone absorption cross sections have been reported with discrepancies and inconsistencies. In this paper, simultaneous effects of the optical path length and temperature variations on ozone gas absorption cross sections are investigated at different wavelengths. HITRAN 2012, the latest available line list on *** simulator, is used in this study to simulate ozone gas absorption cross sections in relation to the simultaneous effects of the optical path length and temperature at the wavelengths of 603 nm and 575 nm. Results obtained for gas cells with the optical path length from 10 cm to 120 cm show that the decrease in temperatures from 313 K to 103 K results in the increase in ozone gas absorption cross sections. At wavelengths of 603 nm and 575 nm, the percentage increase of ozone gas absorption cross sections is 1.22% and 0.71%, respectively. Results obtained in this study show that in the visible spectrum, at constant pressure, ozone gas absorption cross sections are dependent on the temperature and wavelength but do not depend on the optical path length. Analysis in this work addresses discrepancies in ozone gas absorption cross sections in relation to the temperature in the visible spectrum; thus, the results can be applied to get optimal configuration of high accuracy ozone gas sensors.

目的:比较不同次氯酸钠使用时间在根管冲洗中对牙本质的作用。方法:30个3mm×7mm×0.3mm的冠中部牙本质片随机分为3组,两个实验组分别采用两种冲洗方法:①6.15%NaOCl 10 min+17%EDTA 5 min;②6.15%NaOCl 60 min+17%EDTA 5 min。对照组不作处理。分别测试其抗挠强度。10颗离体单根管前牙随机分为2组,镍钛机动预备器械预备,分别采用上述两种实验组方法冲洗后每个根管沿根管长轴颊舌向纵劈为两份,分别使用甲基丙烯酸类树脂封闭剂RealSeal和RealSeal SE覆盖根管表面,透射电子显微镜检查牙本质超微结构。结果60min NaOCl处理组的牙本质片抗挠强度与10minNaOCl处理组及对照组相比显著性下降(p<0.001),10min NaOCl处理组及对照组相比无显著性区别。透射电子显微镜观察结果表明,60min NaOCl处理组的牙本质表面和亚表面25-30um出现重度腐蚀,60min NaOCl处理组和10min NaOCl处理组牙本质表面0.5um均出现由于EDTA作用形成的脱矿带。结论NaOCl的长时间使用是导致NaOCl和EDTA双冲洗剂清洗根管时出现牙本质机械性能下降和腐蚀的主要原因。
