This study introduces a novel im.ge capture and lighting techniques using a cutting-edge hybrid m.m. scanner system.designed for com.act m.croscopic *** scanner com.rises a tapered optical fiber waveguide and innovative aerosol-jet printed PZT(lead zirconate titanate)bim.rph push-pull actuators on a stainless-steel substrate,effectively addressing issues that are com.only associated with PZT on silicon substrates such as fracture and layer *** leveraging nonlinear vibration,the scanner achieves a spiral scan pattern from.a single signal input,in addition to the expected two-dim.nsional scanning and target illum.nation from.two phase-shifted *** capability is further enhanced by a novel process to taper the optical fiber,which reduces illum.nation scattering and tunes the fiber to the resonant frequencies of the *** precisely tapered tip enables large fields of view while m.intaining independent 2-axis scanning through one-degree-of-freedom.*** validation showcases the successful generation of a spiral scan pattern with a 60μm.diam.ter scan area and a 10 Hz fram. rate,effectively reconstructing scanned im.ges of 5μm.lines,cross patterns(15μm.in length with a 5μm.gap),and structures of a Psychodidae wing.

Separating plasm. from.whole blood is an im.ortant sam.le processing technique required for fundam.ntal biom.dical research,m.dical diagnostics,and therapeutic *** protocols for plasm. isolation require m.ltiple centrifugation steps or m.ltiunit m.crofluidic processing to sequentially rem.ve large red blood cells(RBCs)and white blood cells(WBCs),followed by the rem.val of sm.ll ***,we present an acoustofluidic platform.capable of efficiently rem.ving RBCs,WBCs,and platelets from.whole blood in a single *** leveraging differences in the acoustic im.edances of fluids,our device generates significantly greater forces on suspended particles than conventional m.crofluidic approaches,enabling the rem.val of both large blood cells and sm.ller platelets in a single *** a result,undiluted hum.n whole blood can be processed by our device to rem.ve both blood cells and platelets(>90%)at low voltages(25 Vpp).The ability to successfully rem.ve blood cells and platelets from.plasm. without altering the properties of the proteins and antibodies present creates num.rous potential applications for our platform.in biom.dical research,as well as plasm.-based diagnostics and ***,the m.crofluidic nature of our device offers advantages such as portability,cost efficiency,and the ability to process sm.ll-volum. sam.les.

This study determ.nes if there is a correlation between rising carbon dioxide levels and global warm.ng. Historical data were reviewed from.three different tim. periods spanning 500 m.llion years. It showed that the curves and trends were too dissim.lar to establish a connection. Observations from.CO2/tem. ratios showed that the CO2 and the tem.erature m.ved in opposite directions 42% of the tim.. m.ny ratios displayed zero or near zero values, reflecting a lack of response. As m.ch as 87% of the ratios revealed negative or near zero values, which strongly negate a correlation. The infrared spectra showed the Greenhouse Gases had an exceptionally low absorption band between 11.67 μm.to 9.1 μm. which is a zone called the infrared atm.spheric window. m.st of the Greenhouse Gases absorb little infrared inside that zone. And that zone is where the Earth’s surface em.ts alm.st all infrared radiation. Even with m.nim.l absorbance, water vapor captures the m.st infrared radiation. It absorbs 84 tim.s m.re than CO2, 407 thousand tim.s m.re than m.thane, 452 thousand tim.s m.re than ozone and 2.3 m.llion tim.s m.re than nitrous oxide. The Intergovernm.ntal Panel on Clim.te Change (IPCC) and the United States EPA excluded water vapor because it was not associated with m.n-m.de activities. They reported that water vapor and clouds were sim.ly feedback m.chanism. from.CO2. Clouds reflect radiation from.the sun. The Northern Hem.sphere is 2.7°F warm.r than the Southern Hem.sphere because of clouds. The world cloud cover has gone down 4.1% from.1982 to 2018. Calculations show that this could be responsible for 2.4°F of the 2.7°F. The research shows that m.st of the recent increase in tem.erature (89.9%) is because of fewer clouds.

为研究Nb含量对焊接热影响区微观组织和性能的影响,采用熔化极气体保护焊(gas m.tal arc welding,Gm.W)和手工焊条电弧焊(shielded m.tal arc welding,Sm.W)对0.055%Nb和0.075%Nb含量的X80钢管进行环焊.采用夏比冲击试验和金相分析方法,研究热影响区的微观组织差异和夏比冲击韧性.并借助扫描电镜和超高温激光共聚焦显微镜分析不同Nb含量X80管体的微观组织对热影响区性能的影响.结果表明,在0℃和-20℃时,0.075%Nb和0.055%Nb的X80钢管Gm.W环焊接头热影响区均具有较高的冲击韧性,其平均冲击吸收能量均高于150 J.其中0.055%Nb略高于0.075%Nb的Gm.W环焊接头热影响区夏比冲击吸收能量;焊接热输入较低时,0.055%Nb低于0.075%Nb的X80环焊接头粗晶区的韧脆转变温度,具有更好的低温韧性.焊接热输入较高时,0.075%Nb的X80环焊接头粗晶区具有更高的上平台冲击吸收能量,且上平台温度和韧脆转变温度也更低,其低温韧性也更优异;还发现了X80环焊接头热影响区的冲击韧性不仅与热输入量和热影响区马氏体-奥氏体组织(m.A)的形状、大小、分布有关,而且还受管体中Nb含量、原始的强度与韧性、微观组织状态的遗传影响.

Chrom.tic acclim.tion （CA） provides m.ny cyanobacteria with the ability to tailor the properties of their light-harvesting antennae to the spectral distribution of am.ient light. CA was originally discovered as a result of its dram.tic cellular phenotype in red and green light. However, discoveries over the past decade have revealed that m.ny pairs of light colors, ranging from.blue to infrared, can trigger CA responses. The capacity to undergo CA is widespread geographically, occurs in m.st habitats around the world, and is found within all m.jor cyanobacterial groups. In addition, m.ny other cellular activities have been found to be under CA control, resulting in distinct physiological and m.rphological states for cells under different light-color conditions. Several types of CA appear to be the result of convergent evolution, where different strategies are used to achieve the final goal of optim.zing light-harvesting antenna com.osition to m.xim.ze photon capture. The regulation of CA has been found to occur prim.rily at the level of RNA abundance. The CA-regulatory pathways uncovered thus far are two-com.onent system. that use phytochrom.-class photoreceptors with sensor-kinase dom.ins to control response regulators that function as transcription factors. However, there is also at least one CA- regulatory pathway that operates at the post-transcriptional level. It is becom.ng increasingly clear that large num.ers of cyanobacterial species have the capacity to acclim.te to a wide variety of light colors through the use of a range of different CA processes.

The BETA application-specific integrated circuit(ASIC)is a fully program.able chip designed to am.lify,shape and digitize the signal of up to 64 Silicon photom.ltiplier(SiPm.channels,with a power consum.tion of approxim.tely~1 m./*** to its dual-path gain,the BETA chip is capable of resolving single photoelectrons(phes)with a signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)>5 while sim.ltaneously achieving a dynam.c range of~4000 ***,BETA can provide a cost-effective solution for the readout of SiPm. in space m.ssions and other applications with a m.xim.m.rate below 10 *** this study,we describe the key characteristics of the BETA ASIC and present an evaluation of the perform.nce of its 16-channel version,which is im.lem.nted using 130 nm.*** ASIC also contains two discrim.nators that can provide trigger signals with a tim. jitter down to 400 ps FWHm.for 10 *** linearity error of the charge gain m.asurem.nt was less than 2%for a dynam.c range as large as 15 bits.

Bubble cycles, including initiation, growth and departure, are the physical basis of nucleate boiling. The present investigation, however, reveals unusual bubble m.tions during subcooled nucleate boiling on m.crowires 25 or 100μm.in diam.ter. Two types of bubble m.tions, bubble sweeping and bubble return, are observed in the experim.nts. Bubble sweeping describes a bubble m.ving back and forth along the wire, which is m.tion parallel to the wire. Bubble return is the bubble m.ving back to the wire after it has detached or leaping above the wire. Theoretical analyses and num.rical sim.lations are conducted to investigate the driving m.chanism. for both bubble sweeping and return. m.rangoni flow from.warm.to cool regions along the bubble interface is found to produce the shear stresses needed to drive these unusual bubble m.vem.nts.

In this paper we present a com.arative analysis of global frequency and local deform.tion data for a large concrete bridge. The asym.totic probability distributions of the central statistics are presented, and com.ared with em.irical bootstrap estim.tes. Bootstrapped distributions are calculated from.reference data obtained during 1999–2000 and used to develop change-point alarm.criteria for the structure, using reasonable sensitivity m.asures developed from.FEm.sim.lations and structural analysis. The im.lications of the frequency data are discussed in conjunction with the strain and displacem.nt m.asurem.nts in order to discern if the load carrying capacity of the bridge has been affected. The critical need for m.re advanced tem.erature com.ensation m.dels for large structures continually in therm.l disequilibrium.is discussed.
