Bulked-segregant analysis by deep sequencing(BSA-seq) is a widely used method for mapping QTL(quantitative trait loci) due to its simplicity, speed, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency. However, the ability of BSA-seq to detect QTL is often limited by inappropriate experimental designs, as evidenced by numerous practical studies. Most BSA-seq studies have utilized small to medium-sized populations, with F2populations being the most common choice. Nevertheless, theoretical studies have shown that using a large population with an appropriate pool size can significantly enhance the power and resolution of QTL detection in BSA-seq, with F_(3)populations offering notable advantages over F2populations. To provide an experimental demonstration, we tested the power of BSA-seq to identify QTL controlling days from sowing to heading(DTH) in a 7200-plant rice F_(3)population in two environments, with a pool size of approximately 500. Each experiment identified 34 QTL, an order of magnitude greater than reported in most BSA-seq experiments, of which 23 were detected in both experiments, with 17 of these located near41 previously reported QTL and eight cloned genes known to control DTH in rice. These results indicate that QTL mapping by BSA-seq in large F_(3)populations and multi-environment experiments can achieve high power, resolution, and reliability.

Identifying factors affecting the survival of individuals is essential for understanding the evolution of life-history traits and population *** numerous studies on this subject in north-temperate environments,there is a lack of equivalent studies at similar latitudes in the ***,we used a 14-year dataset of capture,banding,and resighting to estimate the annual variation in the apparent adult survival probability of a south-temperate population of House Wrens(Troglodytes aedon bonariae).We evaluated temporal variation in sur-vival and the effect of environmental(climatic)and demographic variables(adult abundance,total number of fledglings produced during each breeding season)on survival *** found that the probability of adult survival decreased as the abundance of breeding adults *** density-dependent effect could be related to the resident lifestyle of southern House Wrens,which could determine an intense competition for territories and resources that ultimately would affect their survival.

Corrosion testing of X52 and X80 steels immersed in stimulated emulsions using a real petroleum sample

The aim of this study is to evaluate the internal corrosion process on X52 and X80 steels/real petroleum interfaces containing condensed hydrocarbon plus oilfield-produced water,which were subjected to stimulated emulsions using 50/50 vol ratio mixtures at 45℃,different hydrodynamic conditions,1 h,and 24 h.A washing process by using deionized water was proposed to simulate and identify the corrosiveness of the hydrocarbon phase after 24 h of exposure *** characterization by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and the monitoring of the polarization curves indicated that X80 steel/oilfield-produced water interfaces were more susceptible to corrosion than X52 steel exposed to oilfield-produced *** combined speed rotation of 600 rpm using a magnetic stirrer+600 rpm using a rotating disk electrode decreased the corrosion rate on X52 *** stimulated emulsions made of hydrocarbon+oilfield-produced water and hydrocarbon+deionized water at 24 h increased the corrosion rate on X80 steel(0.34 mm/year and 0.43 mm/year,respectively),promoting the formation of erosion and pitting *** types of corrosion depended mainly on the physicochemical properties of the hydrocarbon,oilfield-produced water,exposure times,and hydrodynamic systems in which the hydrocarbon was studied.

基于2019-2022年夏玉米播期试验资料,分析夏玉米生理成熟后延迟收获对子粒农艺性状改善、增产效应。结果表明,早播10 d至晚播20 d处理的有效灌浆结束日均比生理成熟期延后,子粒有效灌浆持续日数依次比其花后10 d至生理成熟期日数延长28~9 d,播期每推迟10 d延长日数减少6.3 d。子粒农艺性状有明显的改善,百粒重、穗粒重提高,子粒增产效应明显,理论产量增产率16.95%~7.66%,增产量1960.36~681.51 kg/hm^(2),对照增产最多,比晚播10、20 d增产粮食多2.4~2.9倍。为华北地区提高气候资源利用效率和粮食生产提质增效提供参考。

A novel X-shaped variable stiffness vibration isolator(X-VSVI) is *** Runge-Kutta method, harmonic balance method, and wavelet transform spectra are introduced to evaluate the performance of the X-VSVI under various excitations. The layer number, the installation angle of the X-shaped structure, the stiffness, and the active control parameters are systematically analyzed. In addition, a prototype of the X-VSVI is manufactured, and vibration tests are carried out. The results show that the proposed X-VSVI has a superior adaptability to that of a traditional X-shaped mechanism, and shows excellent vibration isolation performance in response to different amplitudes and forms of excitations. Moreover, the vibration isolation efficiency of the device can be improved by appropriate adjustment of parameters.

磁流变抛光工艺参数的确定对样件表面粗糙度有着直接的影响。通过单因素试验方法研究了在不同磁流变抛光工艺参数(主轴转速、水平工作进给速度、加工间隙)下对增材成型316L不锈钢样件表面粗糙度的影响。结果表明:随着主轴转速的增加,316L不锈钢样件表面粗糙度先降低后增加;水平工作进给会在一定程度上降低永磁体磁场分布不均导致磁流变抛光垫样貌带来的影响,增加抛光轨迹均匀性,降低表面粗糙度;而加工间隙直接影响了磁流变抛光垫夹持磨粒对样件的抛光压力,从而影响抛光质量。实验最后得到最优工艺参数组合为主轴转速600r/min、水平工作进给速度0.8mm/min、加工间隙0.6mm,此时抛光后表面粗糙度值Ra为0.023μm,为所有实验中的最优值。可见,合适的工艺参数能进一步提升磁流变抛光后的表面质量。

High energy storage performance in AgNbO_(3) relaxor ferroelectric films induced by nanopillar structure

Inspired by the increasing demand for energy-storage capacitors in electrical and electronic systems, dielectrics with high energy-storage performance have attracted more and more attention. AgNbO_(3) -based lead-free ceramics serve as one of the most promising environmental-friendly candidates. However, their energy storage optimization is seriously limited by the low breakdown strength. Fortunately, thin film as a form of AgNbO3 materials can effectively improve the breakdown strength. In this work, AgNbO_(3)film with ∼550 nm in thickness was deposited on SrRuO_(3 )/(001)SrTiO_(3) using pulsed laser deposition. The AgNbO_(3) film reveals typical relaxor ferroelectric hysteresis loops due to the new nanopillar structure, which contributes to high breakdown strength of up to 1200 kV cm^(-1) . Benefiting from the high breakdown strength, a recoverable energy storage density of 10.3 j cm^(-3) and an energy efficiency of 72.2% are obtained in the AgNbO_(3) film, which demonstrates the promising prospect of AgNbO_(3) film for energy storage applications.
