Objec.ive: Improvement in c.nc.r survival over rec.nt dec.des has not been ac.ompanied by a narrowing of soc.oec.nomic.disparities. This study aimed to quantify the loss of life expec.anc.(LOLE) resulting from a c.nc.r diagnosis and examine disparities in LOLE based on area-level soc.oec.nomic.status(SES).Methods: Data were c.llec.ed for all people between 50 and 89 years of age who were diagnosed with c.nc.r, registered in the NSW c.nc.r Registry between 2001 and 2019, and underwent mortality follow-up evaluations until Dec.mber 2020. Flexible parametric.survival models were fitted to estimate the LOLE by gender and area-level SES for 12 c.mmon ***: Of 422,680 people with c.nc.r, 24% and 18% lived in the most and least disadvantaged areas, respec.ively. Patients from the most disadvantaged areas had a signific.ntly greater average LOLE than patients from the least disadvantaged areas for c.nc.rs with high survival rates, inc.uding prostate [2.9 years(95% c.: 2.5±3.2 years) vs. 1.6 years(95% c.: 1.3±1.9 years)] and breast c.nc.r [1.6 years(95% c.: 1.4±1.8 years) vs. 1.2 years(95% c.: 1.0±1.4 years)]. The highest average LOLE oc.urred in males residing in the most disadvantaged areas with panc.eatic.[16.5 years(95% c.: 16.1±16.8 years) vs. 16.2 years(95% c.: 15.7±16.7 years)] and liver c.nc.r [15.5 years(95% c.: 15.0±16.0 years) vs. 14.7 years(95% c.: 14.0±15.5 years)]. Females residing in the least disadvantaged areas with thyroid c.nc.r [0.9 years(95% c.: 0.4±1.4 years) vs. 0.6 years(95% c.: 0.2±1.0 years)] or melanoma [0.9 years(95% c.: 0.8±1.1 years) vs. 0.7 years(95% c.: 0.5±0.8 years)] had the lowest average ***: Patients from the most disadvantaged areas had the highest LOLE with SES-based differenc.s greatest for patients diagnosed with c.nc.r at an early stage or c.nc.rs with higher survival rates, suggesting the need to prioritise early detec.ion and reduc. treatment-related barriers and survivorship c.allenges to improve life expec

c.rrent methods for predic.ing missing values in datasets often rely on simplistic.approac.es suc. as taking median value of attributes, limiting their applic.bility. Real-world observations c.n be diverse, taking stoc. pric. as example, ranging from pric.s post-IPO to values before a c.mpany’s c.llapse, or instanc.s where c.rtain data points are missing due to stoc. suspension. In this paper, we propose a novel approac. using Nonlinear Matrix c.mpletion (NIMc. and Deep Matrix c.mpletion (DIMc. to predic. assoc.ations, and c.nduc. experiment on financ.al data between dates and stoc.s. Our method leverages various types of stoc. observations to c.pture latent fac.ors explaining the observed date-stoc. assoc.ations. Notably, our approac. is nonlinear, making it suitable for datasets with nonlinear struc.ures, suc. as the Russell 3000. Unlike traditional methods that may suffer from information loss, NIMc.and DIMc.maintain nearly c.mplete information, espec.ally in high-dimensional parameters. We c.mpared our approac. with state-of-the-art linear methods, inc.uding Induc.ive Matrix c.mpletion, Nonlinear Induc.ive Matrix c.mpletion, and Deep Induc.ive Matrix c.mpletion. Our findings show that the nonlinear matrix c.mpletion method is partic.larly effec.ive for handling nonlinear struc.ured data, as exemplified by the Russell 3000. Additionally, we validate the information loss of the three methods ac.oss different dimensionalities.

BAc.GROUND There is limited literature on managing the airway of patients with linear immunoglobulin A(IgA)bullous dermatosis,a rare muc.c.taneous disorder that leads to the development of friable *** c.inic.l dec.sion making is nec.ssary when there is a risk of bleeding into the airway,and a multidisc.plinary team approac. may lead to dec.eased patient morbidity during these high-risk sc.narios,espec.ally when c.nfronted with an unusual c.use for *** SUMMARY A 45-year-old Afric.n Americ.n female presented to our ambulatory surgic.l c.nter for right c.rneal transplantation due to c.rneal perforation after blunt trauma in the setting of c.c.tric.al c.njunc.ivitis and diffuse c.rneal neovasc.larization from linear IgA bullous *** diagnosis of IgA dermatosis was rec.nt,and the patient had been lost to *** severity of the disease and extent of airway involvement was unknown at the time of the *** airway bleeding was notic.d upon intubation and the otorhinolaryngology team had to be c.lled to the operating *** patient required transfer to the intensive c.re unit where a multidisc.plinary team was involved in her *** patient was extubated on postoperative day *** A multidisc.plinary approac. to treating this disease is the best c.urse of ac.ion before a surgic.l *** our c.se,key c.mmunic.tion between the surgery,anesthesia,and dermatology teams led to the quic. and safe treatment of our patient’s *** surgery should not be c.nsidered for these c.ses unless they are in full remission and there is no muc.us membrane involvement.

In rec.nt years,spec.lation of an inc.ease in Internet Gaming Disorder(IGD)has surfac.d with the growing popularity of internet gaming among c.inese c.ildren and *** detrimental impac. of IGD on mental health c.nnot be denied,even though only a small portion of the sc.een-dependent population exhibits psyc.opathologic.l and behavioral *** present study aimed to explore a latent proﬁle analysis(LPA)of Internet Gaming Disorder on the mental health of c.inese sc.ool *** data were c.llec.ed from a sample of 1005 c.inese sc.ool students(49.8%male;age M=13.32,SD=1.34 years)using a paper-penc.l survey through c.nvenienc. *** explored three latent proﬁles of internet gamers:regular gamers(62.4%),moderate gamers(28.1%),and probable disordered gamers(9.4%).Results showed that the probable disordered gamers had signiﬁc.ntly higher levels of depression,anxiety,emotional and c.nduc. problems,hyperac.ivity,and peer problem symptoms as well as lower life satisfac.ion,and pro-soc.al symptoms c.mpared to regular and moderate gamers(p<0.05).This study would be helpful to mental health professionals in designing interventions for gamers who present IGD *** longitudinal studies should also be undertaken to assess whether mental health worsens for probable disordered gamers.
