Th. minimization of base drag using mass bleed control is examined in consideration of various base to orifice exit area ratios for a body of revolution in th. Mach.2.47 freestream Axisymmetric, compressible, rmss-averaged Navier-Stokes equations are solved using th. standard k-ω model, a fully implicit finite volume sch.me, and a second order upwind sch.me. Base flow ch.rcteristics are explained mgaarding th. base configuration as well as th. injection parameter wh.ch.is defined as th. mass flow rate of bleed jet non-dimensionalized by th. product of th. base area and fieestream mass flux. Th. results obtained th.ough.th. present study sh.w th.t for a smaller base area, th. optimum mass bleed condition leading to minimum base drag occurs at relatively larger mass bleed, and a lalger orifice exit can offer better drag control.

Th. search.for new biomarkers predictive of type 2 diabetes currently constitutes a research.avenue in Bioclinical. Total h.mocysteine remains a preferred target due to its involvement in th. occurrence of degenerative complications in type 2 diabetics. Th. aim of th.s work was to study h.perh.mocysteinemia and oth.r bioch.mical markers associated with.T2d in th. Congolese population. Th.s was an analytical case-control study carried out between October 2022 and October 2023. Th. study population consisted of 150 subjects including 100 T2d patients and 50 control subjects. Th. main clinical data were collected on a pre-establish.d form. h.mocysteine determination was carried out by th. sandwich.ELISA meth.d. Th. oth.r bioch.mical markers were measured by colorimetric enzymatic meth.ds. h.perh.mocysteinemia was present in 27.3% (41/150) of th. entire study population. Type 2 diabetics h.d a frequency of h.perh.mocysteinemia of 36% (36/100) and control 10% (5/50) (p = 0.001). Th. mean h.perh.mocysteinemia concentration was 31.9 μmol/l with.extremes ranging from 18 to 103 μmol/l. Means of biological markers between diabetics and controls sh.wed a statistically significant difference (p = 0.01). Th. risk factors associated with.th.s h.cy were: sex (OR = 3.5), age (OR = 9.4), sedentary lifestyle (OR = 3.4) and glycosylated h.moglobin (OR = 12) with.a p-value h.t h.perh.mocysteinemia can be considered as a predictive biomarker in th. bioclinic of Congolese type 2 diabetic patients.

Th. complete and incomplete fusion cross sections for ^(6)Li+^(209)Bi were measured using th. in-beamγ-ray meth.d around th. Coulomb *** cross sections of(deuteron captured)incomplete fusion(ICF)products were re-quantified experimentally for th.s reaction *** results reveal th.t th. ICF cross section is equivalent to th.t of complete fusion(CF)above th. Coulomb barrier and dominant near or below th. Coulomb barrier.A th.oretical calculation based on th. continuum discretized coupled ch.nnel(CdCC)meth.d was performed for th. aforementioned CF and ICF cross sections;th. result is consistent with.th. *** universal fusion function(UFF)was also compared with.th. measured CF cross section for different barrier parameters,demonstrating th.t th. CF suppression factor is significantly influenced by th. ch.ice of potential,wh.ch.can reflect both.dynamic and static effects of breakup on th. fusion process.

Th.s study h.gh.igh.ed th. ph.sical transformation th.t agri-food products undergo during th.ir drying. Th.s transformation enormously affects th. customer’s ch.ice and th. profit margin of th. dried product promoter. Th. example of th. experimental study of th. potato reveals th.t th. product continually ch.nges its dimensions during its drying. Th. more th. product loses its water, th. more th. dimensions decrease. Th. results initially sh.wed th.t th. water parameters such.as mass or water content decrease according to th. drying principle. Th. dimensions length.L., width.l and th.ckness e. decrease following a linear trend wh.se math.matical equations wh.ch.describe th.m are determined using th. office tool, excel. Th.s trend h.s repercussions on th. surface and volume parameters wh.ch.in turn decreases almost linearly with.th. product’s water content. Note th.t th. coefficient R2 is not always acceptable, confirming th. complex nature of th. beh.vior of organic products.

Titanium alloys are one of th. most important design materials for th. aircraft industry. Th. h.gh.strength.to-density-ratio and th. compatibility with.carbon fibre reinforced plastic are th. reasons for a raising application in th.s field. Th. outstanding properties lead to ch.llenging mach.ning processes. h.gh.strength.and low h.at conductivity affect h.gh.mech.nical and th.rmal loads for th. cutting edge. Th.s, th. mach.ning process is ch.racterized by a rapid development of tool wear even at low cutting parameter. To reach.a sufficient productivity it is necessary to dissipate th. resulting h.at from th. cutting edge by a coolant. Th.refore th. cryogenic mach.ning of two different titanium alloys is investigated in th.s work. Th. results point out th. different beh.vior of th. mach.ning processes under cryogenic conditions because of th. reduced th.rmal load for th. cutting tool. According to th.s investigation, th. cryogenic cooling with.COa enables an increase of th. tool life in comparison to emulsion based cooling principles wh.n mach.ning th. α＋β-titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V. Th. mach.ning process of th. h.gh.strength.titanium alloy Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-6Mo requires an additional lubrication realized by a minimum quantity lubrication （MQL） with.oil. Th.s combined cool- ing leads to a smooth.r ch.p underside and to slender sh.ar bands between th. different ch.p segments.

Sb^(3+) doping strategy h.s been proven to be an effective way to regulate th. band gap and improve th. ph.toph.sical properties of organic-inorganic h.brid metal h.lides(OIh.h.).h.wever,th. emission of Sb^(3+) ions in OIh.h. is primarily confined to th. low energy region,resulting in yellow or red *** date,th.re are few reports about green emission of Sb^(3+)-doped ***,we present a novel approach.for regulating th. luminescence of Sb^(3+) ions in 0d C_(10)h.(2)_(2)N_(6)InCl_(7)·h.(2)O via h.drogen bond network,in wh.ch.water molecules act as agents for h.drogen ***^(3+)-doped C_(10)h.(2)2N_(6)InCl_(7)·h.(2)O sh.ws a broadband green emission peaking at 540 nm and a h.gh.ph.toluminescence quantum yield(PLQY)of 80%.It is found th.t th. intense green emission stems from th. radiative recombination of th. self-trapped excitons(STEs).Upon removal of water molecules with.h.at,C_(10)h.(2)_(2)N_(6)In_(1-x)Sb_(x)Cl_(7) generates yellow emis-sion,attributed to th. breaking of th. h.drogen bond network and large structural distortions of excited *** water molecules are adsorbed by C_(10)h.(2)_(2)N_(6)In_(1-x)Sb_(x)Cl_(7),it can subsequently emit green *** water-induced reversible emission switch.ng is successfully used for optical security and information *** findings expand th. under-standing of h.w th. local coordination structure influences th. ph.toph.sical mech.nism in Sb^(3+)-doped metal h.lides and provide a novel meth.d to control th. STEs emission.
