The quest for the room-temperature optical transistor based on nonlinearities in single atoms or molecules is attracting a lot of *** this work,a single-photon emitter in cubic silicon carbide is verified that can operate as an optical switch at room temperature under pulsed green laser illumination with a near-infrared pulsed laser as the control *** demonstrated an ultrafast and reversible optical modulation with a high photoluminescence intensity suppression ratio up to 97.9%and a response time as short as 287.9±5.7 *** current development provides insights for high-precision and ultrafast optical switches,with possibilities for integration with emerging electronic installations to realize more intelligent photoelectric integrated devices.

The classical two-scale asymptotic paradigm provides macroscopic and microscopic analyses for the elastodynamic homogenization of periodic composites based on the spatial or/and temporal variable,which offers an approximate framework for the asymptotic homogenization analysis of the motion ***,in this framework,the growing complexity of the homogenization formulation gradually becomes an obstacle as the asymptotic order *** such a context,a compact,fast,and accurate asymptotic paradigm is *** work reviews the high-order spatial two-scale asymptotic paradigm with the effective displacement field representation and optimizes the implementation by symmetrizing the tensor to be ***,the modified implementation gets rid of the excessive memory consumption required for computing the high-order tensor,which is demonstrated by representative one-and two-dimensional *** numerical results show that(1)the contrast of the material parameters between media in composites directly affects the convergence rate of the asymptotic results for the homogenization of periodic composites,(2)the convergence error of the asymptotic results mainly comes from the truncation error of the modified asymptotic homogenized motion equation,and(3)the excessive norm of the normalized wavenumber vector in the two-dimensional inclusion case may lead to a non-convergence of the asymptotic results.

The basic region/leucine zipper(bZIP)transcription factors play important roles in plant development and responses to abiotic and biotic ***53 regulates resistance to Magnaporthe oryzae in rice by analyzing APIP5-RNAi transgenic *** further investigate the biological functions of OsbZIP53,we generated osbzip53 mutants using CRISPR/Cas9 editing and also constructed OsbZIP53 over-expression transgenic *** analysis of phenotypical,physiological,and transcriptional data showed that knocking-out OsbZIP53 not only improved disease resistance by inducing a hypersensitivity response in plants,but also regulated the immune response through the salicylic acid ***,disrupting OsbZIP53 increased H2O2 accumulation by promoting reactive oxygen species generation through up-regulation of several respiratory burst oxidase homologs(Osrboh genes)and weakened H2O2 degradation by directly targeting *** addition,the growth of osbzip53 mutants was seriously impaired,while OsbZIP53 over-expression lines displayed a similar phenotype to the wild type,suggesting that OsbZIP53 has a balancing effect on rice immune response and growth.

Commonsense question answering(CQA)requires understanding and reasoning over QA context and related commonsense knowledge,such as a structured Knowledge Graph(KG).existing studies combine language models and graph neural networks to model ***,traditional knowledge graph are mostly concept-based,ignoring direct path evidence necessary for accurate *** this paper,we propose MRGNN(Meta-path Reasoning Graph Neural Network),a novel model that comprehensively captures sequential semantic information from concepts and *** MRGNN,meta-paths are introduced as direct inference evidence and an original graph neural network is adopted to aggregate features from both concepts and paths *** conduct sufficient experiments on the CommonsenceQA and OpenBookQA datasets,showing the effectiveness of ***,we conduct further ablation experiments and explain the reasoning behavior through the case study.

Proliferation and differentiation of intestinal stem cell(ISC)to replace damaged gut mucosal epithelial cells in inflammatory states is a critical step in ameliorating gut ***,when this disordered proliferation continues,it induces the ISC to enter a cancerous *** gut microbiota on the free surface of the gut mucosal barrier is able to interact with ISC on a sustained ***-biota metabolites are able to regulate the proliferation of gut stem and progenitor cells through transcription factors,while in steady state,differentiated colono-cytes are able to break down such metabolites,thereby protecting stem cells at the gut *** the future,the gut flora and its metabolites mediating the regulation of ISC differentiation will be a potential treatment for enteropathies.

In recent years,in order to improve the destructive effectiveness of munitions,the use of new types of destructive elements is an important way to improve destructive *** a new type of reactive material,reactive alloy contains a large portion of reactive metal elements(Al,Mg,Ti,Zr,etc.),which breaks up under high-velocity impact conditions,generating a large number of high-temperature combustible fragments,which undergo a violent combustion reaction with *** with traditional metal polymers(Al-PTFe)and other reactive composites,it has higher density and strength,excellent mechanical properties and broader application ***,researchers have mainly investigated the impact energy release mechanism of reactive alloys through impact tests,and found that there are several important stages in the process of the material from fragmentation to reaction,i.e.,impact fragmentation of the material,rapid heating and combustion *** paper focuses on three problems that need to be solved in the impact-induced energy release process of reactive alloys,namely:the fragmentation mechanism and size distribution law of the fragments produced by the impact of the material on the target,the relationship between the transient temperatures and the size of the fragments,and the reaction temperatures and size thresholds of the fragments to undergo the chemical *** current status of the research of the above problems is reviewed,some potential directions to reveal the impact induced reaction mechanism of reactive alloy is discussed.

Stability behavior of the Lanxi ancient flood control levee after reinforcement with upside-down hanging wells and grouting curtain

The stability of the ancient flood control levees is mainly influenced by water level fluctuations, groundwater concentration and rainfalls. This paper takes the Lanxi ancient levee as a research object to study the evolution laws of its seepage, displacement and stability before and after reinforcement with the upside-down hanging wells and grouting curtain through numerical simulation methods combined with experiments and observations. The study results indicate that the filled soil is less affected by water level fluctuations and groundwater concentration after reinforcement. A high groundwater level is detrimental to the levee's long-term stability, and the drainage issues need to be fully considered. The deformation of the reinforced levee is effectively controlled since the fill deformation is mainly borne by the upside-down hanging wells. The safety factors of the levee before reinforcement vary significantly with the water level. The minimum value of the safety factors is 0.886 during the water level decreasing period, indicating a very high risk of the instability. While it reached 1.478 after reinforcement, the stability of the ancient levee is improved by a large margin.

Spermatogonial stem cells(SSCs)have important applications in both reproduction and regenerative ***,specific genes and signaling transduction pathways in mediating fate decisions of human SSCs remain ***,we have demonstrated for the first time that OIP5(Opa interacting protein 5)controlled the self-renewal and apoptosis of human *** sequencing identified that NCK2 was a target for OIP5 in human SSCs,and interestingly,OIP5 could interact with NCK2 as shown by Co-IP(co-immunoprecipitation),IP-MS(mass spectrometry),and GST pulldown ***2 silencing decreased human SSC proliferation and DNA synthesis but enhanced their ***,NCK2 knockdown reversed the influence of OIP5 overexpression on human ***,OIP5 inhibition decreased the numbers of human SSCs at S and G2/M phases,while the levels of numerous cell cycle proteins,including cyclins A2,B1,D1,e1 and H,especially cyclin D1,were remarkably ***,whole-exome sequencing of 777 patients with nonobstructive azoospermia(NOA)revealed 54 singlenucleotide polymorphism mutations of the OIP5 gene(6.95%),while the level of OIP5 protein was obviously lower in testes of NOA patients compared to fertile ***,these results implicate that OIP5 interacts with NCK2 to modulate human SSC self-renewal and apoptosis via cell cyclins and cell cycle progression and that its mutation and/or lower expression is correlated with *** such,this study offers novel insights into molecular mechanisms underlying the fate determinations of human SSCs and the pathogenesis of NOA,and it provides new targets for treating male infertility.
