A 61-year-old man with locally advanced prostate cancer was found to have multiple solid intra-abdominal solid lesions during staging *** some were in the pelvis,they were not located in the common landing sites for prostate cancer metastases,and his prostate specific antigen was not significantly elevated to suggest a high burden of metastatic *** reported a history of a blunt abdominal trauma due to a motor vehicle accident more than forty years ago which had been conservatively *** staging imaging revealed a lack of a discrete spleen in his left upper abdomen and this raised the suspicion that these solid lesions may represent ectopic splenic *** with nuclear medicine scintigraphy confirmed the lesions in his upper abdomen and pelvis to be *** proceeded with a combination of androgen deprivation therapy and external beam radiotherapy for locally advanced,non-metastatic prostate *** it has been described in patients with low risk prostate cancer,this is the first case report of splenunculi mimicking metastases in a patient with locally advanced prostate cancer.

针对欠驱动吊车系统,本文设计了两种基于能量的非线性控制器来实现小车位移及重物摆动的渐近镇定。本文通过将李亚普诺夫方法与拉塞尔不变性原理相结合,证明了所设计的控制算法能实现吊车系统的渐近镇定。通过实验结果证明了本文所设计的非线性吊车控制系统能实现吊车的高性能控制。

Background and Aims:Pharmaceutical therapy for NASH is associated with lipid modulation,but the consensus on drug treatment is limited and lacks comparative analysis of effectiveness.A network meta-analysis was conducted to compare NASH drug classes in lipid ***:Online databases were searched for randomized controlled trails(RCTs)evaluating NASH treatments in biopsy-proven NASH *** were classified into four groups:(1)inflammation,(2)energy,(3)bile acids,and(4)fibro-sis based on the mechanism of action.A Bayesian network analysis was conducted with outcome measured by mean difference(MD)with credible intervals(Crl)and surface un-der the cumulative ranking curve(SUCRA).Results:Forty-four RCTs were included in the *** acid modulat-ing treatments(MD:0.05,Crl:0.03-0.07)were the best treatment for improvement in high-density lipid(HDL)cho-lesterol,followed by treatments modulating energy(MD:0.03,Crl:0.02-0.04)and fibrosis(MD:0.01,Crl:−0.12 to 0.14)compared with *** top three treatments for reduction in triglycerides were treatments modulating energy(MD:−0.46,Crl:−0.49 to−0.43),bile acids(MD:−0.22,Crl:−0.35 to−0.09),and inflammation(MD:−0.08,Crl:−0.13 to−0.03)compared with *** found treatment modulating fibrosis(MD:−1.27,Crl:−1.76 to−0.79)was the best treatment for reduction in low-density lipid(LDL)cholesterol followed by treatment modulating in-flammation(MD:−1.03,Crl:−1.09 to−0.97)and energy(MD:−0.37,Crl:−0.39 to−0.34)compared with placebo,but LDL cholesterol was worsened by treatments modulat-ing bile ***:Network analysis comparing the class effects of dyslipidemia modulation in NASH found that treatment targets can include optimization of athero-genic *** studies are required to evaluate the cardiovascular outcomes.

We present the novel use of a neuroimaging technique, magnetoenceph-alography (MEG), for examining therapy-related changes in neural activity during a speech and a non-speech motor task in children with speech sound disorders (SSD). Nine children (mean age = 4.2 years) with SSD were scanned in the MEG before and after an eight-week course of intensive motor speech therapy. MEG tasks involved an oromotor and a syllable production task. MEG analyses identified significant post-therapy changes in brain regions related to oromotor control and speech production. Behavioral assessments showed significant improvements on measures of motor speech skills and articulation following intervention. This is the first demonstration of the ability of MEG to: 1) capture brain activations resulting from oromotor movements and simple syllable production in young children, and 2) capture brain changes related to speech therapy. As the findings from this study are promising, we discuss directions for the design of future studies to further examine specific neural dysfunctions in speech sound disorders.

QoWL （Quality of Working Life） What, How, and Why？

The term "QoWL" (quality of work life) has been used in academic literature for over 50 years and usually refers to aspects of the broader concept of quality of life that relates to the work setting. Typically, the conceptualisation of QoWL has incorporated job satisfaction and stress, but agreement on what else should be included among key facets has been hard to achieve. We provide here a brief overview of the development of the concept of QoWL, before considering evidence relating to its relevance in the workplace. We then describe the WRQoL (work-related quality of life) scale and provide an overview of the development of this measure and the psychometric properties of the six subscales. We go on to review evidence which indicates that, having defined and identified a method of measuring QoWL, how attention to this aspect of the work setting may lead to a range of benefits. Lastly, we discuss issues relating to the future development and refinement of the application of the WRQoL scale and how it might be of benefit a broad range of individuals and organisations.
