Impurity distribution in distillate of terbium metal during vacuum distillation purification

The distribution rules of impurities in distilled terbium metal were investigated by vacuum distillation purificationexperiment and theoretical *** is found that Ti impurity in distilled terbium is220mg/kg in the initial stage of the distillationpurification,increases slowly in the middle stage,and increases rapidly in the last stage,reaching2260mg/kg,and the modifiedseparation coefficient of Ti is1/*** diffusion of the impurity Ti in liquid metal can reach a quasi-equilibrium state in theinitial stage of distillation purification and the calculated results agree well with experimental results;the distribution profile ofimpurity Cu is opposite to Ti,being380mg/kg in the initial stage,decreasing linearly to290mg/kg in the last stage,and themodified separation coefficient is17.99,and the theoretical calculated results are inconsistent with the experimental result.

Spatial transcriptomics technique detects RNA sequences (St?hl et al.,2016) and quantifies their expression in the positional context (Ke et al.,2013),which can provide important information such as cell heterogeneity,cell developmental trajectory,differential gene expression between tissue regions or *** date,it is becoming a powerful tool for exploring tumorigenesis (Ren et al.,2023),cerebral neurodevelopment (Shi et al.,2023),embryonic development(Arutyunyan et al.,2023),and other biological ***-dimensional(3D) spatial transcriptome typically requires stacking multiple tissue slices to obtain a 3D atlas (Schott et al.,2024);therefore it prefers a method that meets high throughput,large sample sizes,and affordable cost to cover large regions of the ***,the lack of a single method that meets all of these requirements limits large-scale application of 3D spatial transcriptomics.

Observation of acoustic hybrid topological phases induced by the p-d orbital interactions

Two important operating parameters of heater temperature and the thickness of solid metal Tm has been considered,and the temperature distribution in the sublimation furnace has been simulated by a 2-D axis-symmetric heat transfer *** simulation results indicate that,the temperature increases gradually in the solid metal and metallic vapor in the lower part of the crucible,reaches the maximum approximately in the middle of the crucible,and the temperature profiles are similar with various heater temperature;the mean temperature at upper surface of solid metal is about 30℃ lower than heater temperature in the beginning of sublimation purification process,the sublimation velocity calculated by simulation is lower than the value calculated by heater temperature,and the dimensionless ratio increases 54.3%to 83.3%with the heater temperature increasing;as the purification continues,the thickness of solid metal decreases correspondingly,the temperature difference of mean temperature at upper surface of solid metal to the heater temperature increases gradually,the maximum temperature difference is up to 98.4 ℃ when the heater temperature is1400℃ and thickness is 10 mm;the temperature difference between the upper and lower surface of solid metal increases with the heater temperature increasing,and it decreases as the sublimation purification continues,it decreases the range of 2.1-5.3℃ when the thickness is 10 mm;the sublimation velocity calculated by simulation results is lower than that calculated by the heater temperature,and it further decreases with the sublimation purification.

In spinless systems,growing attention has recently been attracted to synthetic gauge fields,which redefine the fundamental crystal symmetries by utilizing the projective algebraic ***,synthetic gauge fields have been commonly investigated in single orbital systems,and explorations on hybrid orbitals remain elusive in ***,we report the experimental observation of hybrid topological phases induced by hybrid synthetic gauge flux,which is formed by the interaction between p and d orbitals embedded in acoustic *** breaking the translation symmetries of Lxand/or Ly,we unambiguously demonstrate the first-order M?bius edge states and higher-order corner *** work establishes a platform for seeking exotic topological phases induced by hybrid-orbitals interactions and initializing the framework of hybrid-orbitalsrelated topological *** applications can be anticipated in scenarios such as high-quality sensing and robust wave trapping due to the stepwise energy distribution of the hybrid topological phase.

The measurement of amino acid and monoamine neurotransmitters（NTs） in serum plays a central role in the identification and monitoring of clinical panic disorder（PD）. However, the strong polarity and chemical heterogeneity of NTs make direct extraction and rapid detection extremely challenging. Herein, we developed a strategy that integrated solid phase extraction based on magnetic Fe3O4coated with polydopamine（Fe3O4@PDA） and direct analysis of mass spectrometry in real time（DART-MS） for quantification of 10 NTs. We systematically investigated the optimal conditions of this strategy to achieve good accuracy and precision. Compared with existing magnetic solid phase extraction methods for NTs detection in biological samples, this strategy could adsorb more targets while having similar adsorption efficiencies, and the total process time was reduced by an average of 69.42%. We rapidly determined the metabolic abnormality of 6 types of NTs in the serum of PD patients and demonstrated their diagnostic accuracy. In addition, an outstanding feature of PD in which tryptophan was more metabolized by the KYN pathway and the 5-hydroxytryptamine pathway was inhibited could be elucidated by this strategy. Our results highlighted the potential ability of Fe3O4@PDA coupled with DART-MS to assist in the clinical diagnosis of PD.

Flexible Zn-based batteries have attracted increasing research interest as essential components of wearable energy storage ***,the advancement of flexible aqueous Zn-based batteries based on Co-Ni layered double hydroxide （CoNi-LDH） as the cathode material is hampered by their poor cycling stability and the corrosiveness of alkaline ***,CoNi-LDH nanosheets enriched with H vacancies (CoNi-LDH（v）) were constructed on a flexible carbon cloth （CC） substrate via electrochemical deposition and *** Zn-based battery comprising CoNi-LDH（v）@CC as the cathode exhibited highly reversible conversion reactions and stable operation in 3 M ZnSO4electrolyte （pH=4）.The battery delivered an excellent specific capacity (225 mA h g-1,0.26 mA h cm-2),acceptable cycling stability（53.9%,900 cycles）,and high discharging *** abundant H vacancies served as active sites for the reversible intercalation of Zn2+and the extravasation of NO3-generated channels and space for Zn2+transport and storage,together enabling an excellent Zn2+storage ***,a sandwich-structured solid-state CoNi-LDH（v）@CC//Zn@CC battery was fabricated and was found to exhibit a noteworthy electrochemical performance and mechanical *** a proof of concept,the unencapsulated battery powered a digital watch under various deformation conditions and operated stably for 80 ***,the flexible battery displayed outstanding customizability,maintaining an open-circuit voltage of 1.42 V even after being cut *** proposed engineering strategy contributes to the realization of textiles with truly wearable energy-storage devices.

The size and shape effect(SSE) of components has become a critical issue for mechanical properties, application reliability, and processing. In this study, the creep rupture life(CRL) of components with different wall thicknesses and positions in a combustion chamber casing simulator made of K439B superalloy was investigated. The intrinsic mechanisms of the SSE were explored from the dendrite structure, volume fraction and size of the γ' phase, and element segregation, etc. It is shown that this casting exhibits a strong SSE of creep rupture life, characterized by a significant difference in the CRL values up to 60% with the variation of wall thickness and position in the casing. In terms of casting technology, the influence of SSE on CRL is actually determined by the cooling rate. The SSE on the creep rupture life originates from the dendrite structure(such as the secondary dendrite arm spacing), volume fraction size of the γ' phase in the dendrite trunk, and elements segregation rate. This work may have implications for the design and application of engineering components with large sizes and complex structures.
