Flow characteristics simulation of spiral coil reactor used in the thermochemical energy storage system

According to environmental and energy issues,renewable energy has been vigorously *** solar power is widely used in many areas but it is limited by the weather conditions and cannot work *** storage is a considerable solution for this problem and thermochemical energy storage is the most promising way because of its great energy density and ***,this technology is not mature enough to be applied to the *** reactor is an important component in the thermochemical energy storage system where the charging and discharging process *** this paper,a spiral coil is proposed and used as a reactor in the thermochemical energy storage *** advantages of the spiral coil include simple structure,small volume,and so *** investigate the flow characteristics,the simulation was carried out based on energy-minimization multi-scale model(EMMS)and Eulerian two-phase ***_(3) particles were chosen as the *** distribution was shown in the *** gas initial velocity was set to 2 m·s^(-1),3 m·s^(-1),and 4 m·s^(-1).When the particles flowed in the coil,gravity,centrifugal force and drag force influenced their *** the Reynold numbers increasing,centrifugal and drag force got *** phenomenon existed in the coil and results showed with the gas velocity increasing,accumulation moved from the bottom to the outer wall of the ***,the accumulation phenomenon was stabilized whenφ>720°.Also due to the centrifugal force,a secondary flow formed,which means solid particles moved from the inside wall to the outside *** secondary flow could promote turbulence and mixing of particles and *** addition,when the particle volume fraction is reduced from 0.2 to 0.1,the accumulation at the bottom of the coil decreases,and the unevenness of the velocity distribution becomes larger.

The active sulphur compounds in transformer oil would react with copper wires and produce cuprous sulphides,which then attach themselves to the surface of copper wires and insulating paper,thus reducing the electrical performance of oil-paper insulation and causing insulation *** article aims to make a comprehensive summary on the field of sulphur corrosion of oil-paper insulation in the mineral oil transformer,including the corrosion mechanism of sulphide on copper sheets,the deterioration mechanism of sul-phide on oil-paper,the factors influencing sulphur corrosion reaction,the method of characterising the degree of sulphur corrosion,the protection technology of sulphur corrosion and the field operation measures for sulphur ***,four key problems that need to be further solved were sorted out:the synergistic deterioration mechanism of sulphide and its transformation mechanism,the micro-process and forming path of sulphur corrosion reaction,the characteristic parameters and quantitative charac-terisation methods of sulphur corrosion degree,and the effective protection technology of sulphide *** solve these problems,efforts will be made for deeper understanding of the sulphur corrosion phenomenon and its deterioration mechanism based on theo-retical background,the assessment methods and protection technology,endeavouring to put forward solid theoretical basis and feasible technical means for preventing sulphur corrosion insulation failure.

Adaptive resource allocation for workflow containerization on Kubernetes

In a cloud-native era,the Kubernetes-based workflow engine enables workflow containerized execution through the inherent abilities of ***,when encountering continuous workflow requests and unexpected resource request spikes,the engine is limited to the current workflow load information for resource allocation,which lacks the agility and predictability of resource allocation,resulting in over and underprovisioning *** mechanism seriously hinders workflow execution efficiency and leads to high resource *** overcome these drawbacks,we propose an adaptive resource allocation scheme named adaptive resource allocation scheme(ARAS)for the Kubernetes-based workflow *** potential future workflow task requests within the current task pod’s lifecycle,the ARAS uses a resource scaling strategy to allocate resources in response to high-concurrency workflow *** ARAS offers resource discovery,resource evaluation,and allocation functionalities and serves as a key component for our tailored workflow engine(KubeAdaptor).By integrating the ARAS into KubeAdaptor for workflow containerized execution,we demonstrate the practical abilities of KubeAdaptor and the advantages of our *** with the baseline algorithm,experimental evaluation under three distinct workflow arrival patterns shows that ARAS gains time-saving of 9.8% to 40.92% in the average total duration of all workflows,time-saving of 26.4% to 79.86% in the average duration of individual workflow,and an increase of 1% to 16% in centrol processing unit(CPU)and memory resource usage rate.

AH_(2)O_(2)-induced oxidative stress injury cell model was established to investigate the antioxidant effect of nanoselenium on mouse spermatocyte lines and the regulation mechanism of the expression level and activity of seleniumcontaining antioxidant enzymes induced by oxidative stress.A safe and effective nano-drug system of functionalized selenium-containing nanoparticles(SeNPs)was developed with lentinan(LNT)(SeNPs@LNT).Mice spermatocyte line GC2-spg cells were treated with SeNPs@LNT(1,2,4,8,16,32μM)for 24-72 h to evaluate the cytotoxicity of ***2-spg cells were randomly divided into the following groups:control,hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2)),SeNPs@LNT,and H_(2)O_(2)+SeNPs@LNT groups.H_(2)O_(2)+SeNPs@LNT group was pretreated with SeNPs@LNT 4μM for 12 h,followed by H_(2)O_(2)600μM for 8 *** cell viability decreased in the H_(2)O_(2) group and increased significantly in the SeNPs@LNT *** with the H_(2)O_(2) group,the SeNPs@LNT+H_(2)O_(2) group exhibited obvious red fluorescence,indicating a higher level of mitochondrial membrane *** content of intracellular reactive oxygen species(ROS)in the SeNPs@LNT group reduced significantly,and the intensity of green fluorescence in the SeNPs@LNT+H_(2)O_(2) group decreased significantly compared with the H_(2)O_(2) group,indicating the inhibitory effect of SeNPs@LNT on the generation of ROS-induced oxidative *** activity of GPx and SOD increased significantly in the SeNPs@LNT *** expression of p53 decreased significantly under the intervention of nano-selenium,and GPx1 expression *** the oxidative stress group,the expressions of DNA damage-related proteins and apoptosis-related proteins were higher than those in other ***,SeNPs@LNT can promote GC2-spg cell proliferation,improve GPx and SOD activities,remove intracellular ROS,and reduce mitochondrial damage and functional abnormalities caused by oxidative stress by regulating the ERK and p53 protein ***@LNT

Three-Dimensional Simulation of Hydrodynamic Mechanism of Fluidized Bed Methanation

Organic solid waste(OSW)contains many renewable *** pyrolysis and gasification of OSW can realize resource utilization,and its products can be used for methanation reaction to produce synthetic natural gas in the specific *** order to understand the dynamic characteristics of the reactor,a three-dimensional numerical model has been established by the method of Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD).Along the height of the reactor,the particle distribution in the bed becomes thinner and the mean solid volume fraction decreases from 4.18%to 0.37%.Meanwhile,the pressure fluctuation range decreased from 398.76 Pa at the entrance to a much lower value of 74.47 Pa at the *** this simulation,three parameters of gas inlet velocity,operating temperature and solid particle diameter are changed to explore their influences on gas-solid multiphase *** results show that gas velocity has a great influence on particle *** the gas inlet velocity decreases from 6.51 to 1.98 m/s,the minimum height that particles can reach decreases from 169 to 100 ***,as the operating temperature increases,the particle holdup inside the reactor changes from 0.843%to 0.700%.This indicates that the particle residence time reduces,which is not conducive to the follow-up ***,with the increase of particle size,the fluctuation range of the pressure at the bottom of the reactor increases,and its standard deviation increases from 55.34 to 1266.37 Pa.

What kind of optical model potentials should be used for deuteron stripping reactions?

This paper presents the results of a study that compares CTOM, a microscopic optical model potential(OMP), which is an optical model co-created by the China Nuclear Data Center & Tuebingen University, to CH89, which is a typical phenomenological *** respective OMPs were tested by applying them to the modelling of nucleon elastic scattering and(d,p) transfer reactions involving14C,36S, and58Ni targets at both low and relatively high energies. The results demonstrated that although both potentials successfully accounted for the angular distributions of both the elastic scattering and transfer cross sections, the absolute values of the transfer cross sections calculated using CTOM were approximately 25% larger than those calculated using CH89. This increased transfer cross sections allowed CTOM to produce single particle strength reduction factors for the three reactions that were consistent with those extracted from(e,e′p) reactions as well as with more recent(p,2p) and(p,pn) reactions. Notch tests suggested that nucleon elastic scattering and transfer reactions are sensitive to different regions of the OMP;accordingly,phenomenological OMPs, which are constrained only by elastic scattering cross sections, may not be sufficient for nucleon transfer reactions. Therefore, we suggest that microscopic OMPs, which reflect more theoretical considerations, should be preferred over phenomenological ones in calculations of direct nuclear reactions.

Determination of astrophysical ^7Be（p, γ）8B reaction rates from the ^7Li（d, p）^8Li reaction

The ^7Be（p, γ）8B reaction plays a central role not only in the evaluation of solar neutrino fluxes but also in the evolution of the first stars. Study of this reaction requires the asymptotic normalization coefficient （ANC） for the virtual decay ^8Bg.s. → ^7Be ＋ p. By using the charge symmetry relation, we obtain this proton ANC with the single neutron ANC of ^8Lig.s.→^7Li ＋ n, which is determined with the distorted wave Born approximation （DWBA） and adiabatic distorted wave approximation （ADWA） analysis of the ^7Li（d, p）^8Li angular distribution. The astrophysical S-factors and reaction rates of the direct capture process in the 7Be（p, y）SB reaction are further deduced at energies of astrophysical relevance. The astrophysical S-factor at zero energy for direct capture, S 17（0）, is derived to be （19.9 ± 3.5） eV b in good agreement with the most recent recommended value. The contributions of the 1 ^＋ and 3^＋ resonances to the S-factor and reaction rate are also evaluated. The present result demonstrates that the direct capture dominates the ^7Be（p, γ）8B reaction in the whole temperature range. This work provides an independent examination to the current results of the ^7Be（p, γ）8B reaction.
