In developing and exploring extreme and harsh underwater environments,underwater robots can effectively replace humans to complete *** meet the requirements of underwater flexible motion and comprehensive subsea operation,a novel octopus-inspired robot with eight soft limbs was designed and *** robot possesses the capabilities of underwater bipedal walking,multi-arm swimming,and grasping *** closely interact with the underwater seabed environment and minimize disturbance,the robot employs a cable-driven flexible arm for its walking in underwater floor through a bipedal walking *** multi-arm swimming offers a means of three-dimensional spatial movement,allowing the robot to swiftly explore and navigate over large areas,thereby enhancing its ***,the robot’s walking arm enables it to grasp and transport objects underwater,thereby enhancing its practicality in underwater environments.A simplified motion models and gait generation strategies were proposed for two modes of robot locomotion:swimming and walking,inspired by the movement characteristics of octopus-inspired multi-arm swimming and bipedal *** experimental verification,the robot’s average speed of underwater bipedal walking reaches 7.26 cm/s,while the horizontal movement speed for multi-arm swimming is 8.6 cm/s.

Vanadium pentoxide(V_(2)O_(5))with a layered structure is of great interest in the field of electrochromic(EC)due to its abundance of color ***,there are still a series of problems such as slow ion diffusion,poor electronic conductivity and cyclic stability in the reaction ***,we successfully prepared a stable and fast multi-color electrochromic material V_(2)O_(5)-PEDOT by a simple“one-pot”*** layer space of V_(2)O_(5)could be tuned by 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene(named V_(2)O_(5)-PEDOT)during the dissolution and recrystallization of vanadium *** expanded layer spacing facilitates rapid ion insertion and *** serves as an internal conductive pillar to improve the overall conductivity of the *** obtained intercrossing structure of the nanobelts shortens the ion diffusion distance and ensures electrolyte *** V_(2)O_(5)-PEDOT exhibits the fast response time(1.1 s for coloration and 3.5 s for bleaching at 422 nm),high optical contrast(ΔT=45%at 422 nm andΔT=35.2%at 1000 nm),great coloration efficiency(CE=97.1 cm2/C),and high cyclic stability(86%preserved after 3000 cycles).The electrochromic devices(ECD)were successfully assembled by using V_(2)O_(5)-PEDOT films as ion storage layers and electrochromic layers,demonstrating remarkable performance.

Electrocatalytic water splitting has been identified as a potential candidate for producing clean hydrogen energy with zero carbon ***,the sluggish kinetics of oxygen evolution reaction on the anode side of the watersplitting device significantly hinders its practical ***,the efficiency of oxygen evolution processes depends greatly on the availability of cost‐effective catalysts with high activity and *** recent years,extensive theoretical and experimental studies have demonstrated that cobalt(Co)‐based nanomaterials,especially low‐dimensional Co‐based nanomaterials with a huge specific surface area and abundant unsaturated active sites,have emerged as versatile electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reactions,and thus,great progress has been made in the rational design and synthesis of Co‐based nanomaterials for electrocatalytic oxygen evolution *** the remarkable progress in this area,in this timely review,we highlight the most recent developments in Co‐based nanomaterials relating to their dimensional control,defect regulation(conductivity),electronic structure regulation,and so ***,a brief conclusion about recent progress achieved in oxygen evolution on Co‐based nanomaterials,as well as an outlook on future research challenges,is given.

SARS-CoV-2 infection-induced hyper-inflammation is a key pathogenic factor of *** research,along with others',has demonstrated that mast cells(MCs)play a vital role in the initiation of hyper-inflammation caused by *** previous study,we observed that SARS-CoV-2 infection induced the accumulation of MCs in the peri-bronchus and bronchioalveolar-duct junction in humanized ***,we found that MC degranulation triggered by the spike protein resulted in inflammation in alveolar epithelial cells and capillary endothelial cells,leading to subsequent lung *** trachea and bronchus are the routes for SARS-CoV-2 transmission after virus inhalation,and inflammation in these regions could promote viral *** are widely distributed throughout the respiratory ***,in this study,we investigated the role of MCs and their degranulation in the development of inflammation in tracheal-bronchial *** analyses showed the accumulation and degranulation of MCs in the peri-trachea of humanized mice infected with *** degranulation caused lesions in trachea,and the formation of papillary hyperplasia was *** transcriptome analysis in bronchial epithelial cells,we found that MC degranulation significantly altered multiple cellular signaling,particularly,leading to upregulated immune responses and *** administration of ebastine or loratadine effectively suppressed the induction of inflammatory factors in bronchial epithelial cells and alleviated tracheal injury in *** together,our findings confirm the essential role of MC degranulation in SARS-CoV-2-induced hyper-inflammation and the subsequent tissue ***,our results support the use of ebastine or loratadine to inhibit SARS-CoV-2-triggered degranulation,thereby preventing tissue damage caused by hyper-inflammation.

The Wnt signaling pathway plays a critical role in bone homeostasis,and the related protein therapy strategies have been reported to have great potential in osseointegration;however,they face formidable challenges such as complex external environments and unavoidable protein *** this work,we report a novel approach combining the synthesis of metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)and protein encapsulation in a one-pot process based on zeolitic imidazolate framework-8(ZIF-8)and Wnt3a protein,with improved biomechanical behavior and enhanced protein biological *** combination was designed to enhance the Wnt3a protein function through the improved chemical stability provided by the ZIF-8 ***,the zinc ions contained in the ZIF-8 crystals induced bone homeostasis,further favoring the *** results showed that the Wnt3a protein-loaded ZIF-8 crystals served as efficient drug delivery vehicles to promote osteogenesis,preventing protein *** particular,Wnt3a-loaded ZIF-8 nanoparticles(Wnt3a@ZIF-8 NPs)had higher efficacy on bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)than ZIF-8 NPs or Wnt3a proteins,contributing to the osteogenesis through ZIF-8 crystals and intracellular Wnt3a proteins released from Wnt3a@ZIF-8 ***,polymerase chain reaction(PCR)analysis showed that the osteogenic pathways were ***,the present one-pot process can open up new avenues to develop signaling protein-delivery systems for applications in protein therapy strategies.

Objectives:To explore the relationship between college students’self-esteem(SE)and their social phobia(SP),as well as the mediating role of fear of negative evaluation(FNE)and the moderating effect of ***:A convenience sampling survey was carried out for 1020 college students from Shandong Province of China,utilizing measures of college students’self-esteem,fear of negative evaluation,perfectionism,and social *** analysis was performed using the SPSS PROCESS ***:(1)college students’self-esteem significantly and negatively predicts their social phobia(β=−0.31,t=−10.10,p<0.001);(2)fear of negative evaluation partially mediates the relation between self-esteem and social phobia among college students,with the mediating effect accounting for 48.97%of the total effect(TE);(3)the mediating role of fear of negative evaluation is moderated by perfectionism(β=0.18,t=7.75,p<0.001),where higher levels of perfectionism strengthen the mediating effect of fear of negative ***:Perfectionism moderates the mediating effect that fear of negative evaluation plays,establishing a moderated mediating model.

The Solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(SMILE)satellite is a small magnetosphere–ionosphere link explorer developed cooperatively between China and *** pioneers the use of X-ray imaging technology to perform large-scale imaging of the Earth’s magnetosheath and polar cusp *** uses a high-precision ultraviolet imager to image the overall configuration of the aurora and monitor changes in the source of solar wind in real time,using in situ detection instruments to improve human understanding of the relationship between solar activity and changes in the Earth’s magnetic *** SMILE satellite is scheduled to launch in *** European Incoherent Scatter Sciences Association(EISCAT)-3D radar is a new generation of European incoherent scatter radar constructed by EISCAT and is the most advanced ground-based ionospheric experimental device in the high-latitude polar *** has multibeam and multidirectional quasi-real-time three-dimensional(3D)imaging capabilities,continuous monitoring and operation capabilities,and multiple-baseline interferometry *** detection by the SMILE satellite and the EISCAT-3D radar is of great significance for revealing the coupling process of the solar wind–magnetosphere–***,we performed an analysis of the joint detection capability of the SMILE satellite and EISCAT-3D,analyzed the period during which the two can perform joint detection,and defined the key scientific problems that can be solved by joint *** addition,we developed Web-based software to search for and visualize the joint detection period of the SMILE satellite and EISCAT-3D radar,which lays the foundation for subsequent joint detection experiments and scientific research.

In recent years,sodium-ion capacitors have attracted attention due to their cost-effectiveness,high power density and similar manufacturing process to lithium-ion ***,the utilization of oxide electrodes in traditional sodium-ion capacitors restricts their further advancement due to the inherent low operating voltage and electrolyte consumption based on their energy storage *** address these challenges,we incorporated Zn,Cu,Ti,and other elements into Na_(0.67)Ni_(0.33)Mn_(0.67)O_(2) to synthesize P2-type Na_(0.7)Ni_(0.28)Mn_(0.6)Zn_(0.05)Cu_(0.02)Ti_(0.05)O_(2) with a modulated entropy and pillaring *** the synergistic interplay between the interlayer pillar and the entropy modulation within the layers,the material exhibits exceptional toughness,effectively shielding it from detrimental phase transitions at elevated voltage *** a result,the material showcases outstanding kinetic properties and long-term cycling stability across the voltage *** integrating these materials with hierarchical porous carbon nanospheres to form a"rocking chair"sodium-ion capacitor,the hybrid full device delivers a high energy density(171 Wh·kg^(-1))and high power density(5245 W·kg^(-1)),as well as outstanding cycling stability(77% capacity retention after 3000 cycles).This work provides an effective material development route to realize simultaneously high energy and power for next-generation sodium-ion capacitors.
