metal-halide perovskites are revolutionizing the world of X-ray detectors,due to the development of sensitive,fast,and cost-effective ***-powered operation,ensuring portability and low power consumption,has also been recently demonstrated in both bulk materials and thin ***,the signal stability and repeatability under continuous X-ray exposure has only been tested up to a few hours,often reporting degradation of the detection *** it is shown that self-powered direct X-ray detectors,fabricated starting from a FAPbBr_(3)submicrometer-thick film deposition onto a mesoporous TiO_(2)scaffold,can withstand a 26-day uninterrupted X-ray exposure with negligible signal loss,demonstrating ultra-high operational stability and excellent *** structural modification is observed after irradiation with a total ionizing dose of almost 200 Gy,revealing an unexpectedly high radiation hardness for a metal-halide perovskite thin *** addition,trap-assisted photoconductive gain enabled the device to achieve a record bulk sensitivity of 7.28 C Gy^(−1)cm^(−3)at 0 V,an unprecedented value in the field of thin-film-based photoconductors and photodiodes for“hard”***,prototypal validation under the X-ray beam produced by a medical linear accelerator for cancer treatment is also introduced.

Today’s explosion of data urgently requires memory technologies capable of storing large volumes of data in shorter time frames,a feat unattain-able with Flash or *** Optane,commonly referred to as three-dimensional phase change memory,stands out as one of the most promising *** Optane with cross-point architecture is constructed through layering a storage element and a selector known as the ovonic threshold switch(OTS).The OTS device,which employs chalcogenide film,has thereby gathered increased attention in recent *** this paper,we begin by providing a brief introduction to the discovery process of the OTS ***,we summarize the key elec-trical parameters of OTS devices and delve into recent explorations of OTS materials,which are categorized as Se-based,Te-based,and S-based material ***,we discuss various models for the OTS switching mechanism,including field-induced nucleation model,as well as several carrier injection ***,we review the progress and innovations in OTS mechanism ***,we highlight the successful application of OTS devices in three-dimensional high-density memory and offer insights into their promising performance and extensive prospects in emerging applications,such as self-selecting memory and neuromorphic computing.

One-neutron stripping process between^(6)Li and^(209)Bi was studied at 28,30,and 34 meV using the in-beamγ-ray spectroscopy ***γ-γcoincident analysis clearly identified twoγ-rays feeding the ground and long-lived isomeric states,which were employed to determine the cross *** one-neutron stripping cross sections were similar to the cross sections of complete fusion in the^(6)Li+^(209)Bi system,but the one-neutron stripping cross sections decreased more gradually at the sub-barrier region.A coupled-reaction-channel calculation was performed to study the detailed reaction mechanism of the one-neutron stripping process in^(6)*** calculations indicated that the first excited state of 5 Li is critical in the actual one-neutron transfer mechanism,and the valence proton of 209Bi can be excited to the low-lying excited state in(^(6)Li,^(5)Li)reaction,unlike in the(d,p)reaction.

We aim to evaluate the incidence of incontinence following laser endoscopic enucleation of the prostate(EEP)comparing en-bloc(Group 1)versus 2-lobe/3-lobe techniques(Group 2).We performed a retrospective review of patients undergoing EEP for benign prostaticenlargement in 12 centers between January 2020 and January *** were presented as median and interquartile range(IQR).Univariable and multivariable logistic regression analysis was performed to evaluate factors associated with stress urinary incontinence(SUI)and mixed urinary incontinence(mUI).There were 1711 patients in Group 1 and 3357 patients in Group *** in Group 2were significantly younger(68[62–73]years vs 69[63–74]years,P=0.002).median(interquartile range)prostate volume(PV)wassimilar between the groups(70[52–92]ml in Group 1 vs 70[54–90]ml in Group 2,P=0.774).There was no difference in preoperativeInternational Prostate Symptom Score,quality of life,or maximum flow ***,morcellation,and total surgical time weresignificantly shorter in Group *** 1 month,overall incontinence rate was 6.3%in Group 1 versus 5.3%in Group 2(P=0.12),and urge incontinence was significantly higher in Group 1(55.1%vs 37.3%in Group 2,Pmonths,the overall rate ofincontinence was 1.7%in Group 1 versus 2.3%in Group 2(P=0.06),and SUI was significantly higher in Group 2(55.6%vs 24.1%in Group 1,P=0.002).At multivariable analysis,PV and IPSS were factors significantly associated with higher odds of transient SUI/***,surgical time,and no early apical release technique were factors associated with higher odds of persistent SUI/mUI.

Introduction: Despite the known benefits of newborn follow-up clinics, attendance has historically been difficult. Infants with reported follow-up difficulty have a greater incidence of severe sensorimotor and cognitive deficits and poorer access to early intervention programs. Our objective was to determine the parent-reported reasons for loss-to-follow up in patients hospitalised at the neonatology unit of Laquintinie Hospital. methodology: We carried out a cross-sectional study through phone interviews with parents/caregivers of patients hospitalised at Laquintinie over a 2-year period from 1st January 2021 to 31st December 2022. A non-standardised structured interview guide was used for data collection. Loss-to-follow up referred to absence to at least one visit as recorded in the neonatal follow-up chart. All necessary administrative and ethical considerations were duly respected. Results: most neonates were born through vaginal delivery (n = 313, 69.45%). The neonates were admitted at a median gestational age of 33 weeks (Q1-Q3;32 - 35) and the median duration of hospitalisation was 12 days (Q1 - Q3;8 - 18). A total of 23 neonates had died at the time of interview giving a mortality rate of 5.1%. The three most reported reasons for loss-to-follow-up was lack of money (n = 310, 68.13%), assumption that follow-up had ended (n = 37, 8.13%), and newborn that died (n = 23, 5.1%). Conclusion: This study highlights the significant impact of financial constraints and absence of a robust follow-up system on poor uptake of neonatal follow-up post-discharge in resource limited settings like Cameroon. Our results serve as advocacy for national health insurance especially in neonates.

The spatial pattern distribution of plant hormones in response to aluminum (Al) toxicity in roots remains to be shown. This study was performed to assess the root hormonal accumulation and gene expression in response to Al toxicity in five transgenic miniature dwarf tomatoes cv. micro-Tom (mT). mT and mT transgenics to acid indole acetic, cytokinin, gibberellin, abscisic acid and ethylene were cultivated in nutrient solutions containing different Al concentrations. Root growth elongation was measured and cellular damage was visualized by staining Evans’s blue. The GUS reporter gene staining technique was used to visualize hormonal changes in mT apex root tissues. Data indicated that the mT is sensitive to Al that induced significant growth inhibition and cellular damage. Al concentration of 27 μm was significantly toxic, inducing root apex darkening and inhibition of root development. The qualitative evaluation of GUS reporter gene expression showed intense crosstalk among all hormones studied, underscoring the complexity of signaling induced by Al in apex roots. Results point out to a major understanding of the hormonal signaling in response to Al toxicity, which may induce a change of root growth and architecture with growth inhibition and cell constraints modulated by all different hormones evaluated.

Objective:To scrutinize the definitions of minimal invasive surgical therapy(mIST)and to investigate urologists’knowledge,attitudes,and practices for benign prostatic obstruction ***:A 36-item survey was developed with a Delphi *** on definitions of mIST and attitudes and practices of benign prostatic obstruction surgeries were *** were invited globally to complete the online *** was achieved when more than or equal to 70%responses were“agree or strongly agree”and less than or equal to 15%responses were“disagree or strongly disagree”(consensus agree),or when more than or equal to 70%responses were“disagree or strongly disagree”and less than or equal to 15%responses were“agree or strongly agree”(consensus disagree).Results:The top three qualities for defining mIST were minimal blood loss(n=466,80.3%),fast post-operative recovery(n=431,74.3%),and short hospital stay(n=425,73.3%).The top three surgeries that were regarded as mIST were Urolift®(n=361,62.2%),Rezum®(n=351,60.5%),and endoscopic enucleation of the prostate(EEP)(n=332,57.2%).Consensus in the knowledge section was achieved for the superiority of Urolift®,Rezum®,and iTInD®over transurethral resection of the prostate with regard to blood loss,recovery,day surgery feasibility,and post-operative *** in the attitudes section was achieved for the superiority of Urolift®,Rezum®,and iTInD®over transurethral resection of the prostate with regard to blood loss,recovery,and day surgery *** on both sections was achieved for EEP as the option with the better symptoms and flow improvement,lower retreatment rate,and better suitable for prostate more than 80 ***:minimal blood loss,fast post-operative recovery,and short hospital stay were the most important qualities for defining ***®,Rezum®,and EEP were regarded as mIST by most urologists.

Testicular volume(TV)is proposed to be a positive predictor of male fertility status,because of the relation known between the TV and the seminiferous tubule *** of the measurement methodology,the role of TV and testicular ultrasound(US)assessments is still debated in andrological clinical *** this retrospective cohort study,we evaluated TV and testis US role in the diagnostic workup of andrological *** consecutive outpatients undergoing single-operator testis US(modena,Italy)from march 2012 to march 2018 were enrolled,matching sonographic,hormonal,and seminal data.A total of 302 men were referred and evaluated for gynecomastia,suspected hypogonadism,couple infertility(Cl),or sexual *** the hypogonadal group,TV was lower compared to that in other groups(Pnd a significant,direct correlation between TV and testosterone level was observed in nonandrogen-treated patients(R=0.911,Png that testicular size could be related to the testosterone-secreting *** the Cl group,normozoospermic patients showed higher TV compared to men with impaired semen quality(P=0.003)and azoospermia(P=0.003).However,TV was not able to discriminate between patients presenting normal and altered semen *** the contrary,testis US inhomogeneity was more frequent in patients with impaired sperm quality(55.0%;P=0.007)and azoospermia(40.0%;P=0.012),compared to patients with normozoospermia(5%),identifying thereby the sonographic pattern as an informative parameter of the fertility ***,in the Cl workup,US evaluation seems to be more informative than the TV assessment alone.
