In this paper,pinning controller designing for partial synchronization is studied for Boolean Networks in the driveresponse *** problem can be converted into making the response BN stabilized into certain cycles under the certain switching *** limit cycles are found out,which can achieve partial *** synchronization is achieved by changing the transition matrix of the response *** algorithm for choosing pinning nodes and pinning controller design is ***,a numerical example is given to show the efficiency of the design procedure.

BACKGROUND Major societies provide differing guidance on management of Barrett’s esophagus(BE),making standardization *** To evaluate the preferred diagnosis and management practices of BE among Asian *** Endoscopists from across Asia were invited to participate in an online questionnaire comprising eleven questions regarding diagnosis,surveillance and management of *** Five hundred sixty-nine of 1016(56.0%)respondents completed the survey,with most respondents from Japan(n=310,54.5%)and China(n=129,22.7%).Overall,the preferred endoscopic landmark of the esophagogastric junction was squamocolumnar junction(42.0%).Distal palisade vessels was preferred in Japan(59.0%vs 10.0%,Phout dysplasia every two *** to Seattle protocol was poor with only 6.3%always performing it.73.2%of Japanese never did it,compared to 19.3%outside Japan(Phose squamo-columnar junction to be the landmark for esophagogastric junction,which is *** also did not consistently use Prague criteria,and Seattle *** of standardization,education and research are possible reasons.

Asteroid 469219 Kamo'oalewa,also named 2016 ho3,is a small-size fast-rotating near-Earth asteroid,which is a potential target for future *** to its weak gravity and fast spin rate,the dynamics on the surface or in the vicinity of 2016 ho3 are significantly different from those of planets or other small bodies explored in previous *** this study,the geophysical and orbital environments of 2016 ho3 were investigated to facilitate a potential mission ***,the geormnetric and geopotential topographies of 2016 ho3 were examined using difterent shape *** liftoff and escape conditions on its fast-rotating surface were ***,the periodic orbits around 2016 ho3 were studied in the asteroid-fixed frame and the Sun-asteroid frame considering the solar radiation *** stable regions of the terminator orbits were discussed using different ***,the influence of the nonspherical shape on the terminator orbits was *** precise terminator orbits around a real shape model of 2016 ho3 were obtained and verified in the high-fidelity *** study shows that the polar region of 2016 ho3 is the primary region for landing or sampling,and the terminator orbits are well suited for global mapping and measurements of 2016 *** analysis and methods can also serve as references for the exploration of other small fast-rotating bodies.

Colorectal cancer in patients under 50 years of age:A retrospective analysis of two institutions' experience

AIM:To investigate the epidemiological characteristics of colorectal cancer(CRC)in patients under 50 years of age across two ***:Records of patients under age 50 years of age who had CRC surgery over a 16 year period were assessed at two *** following documents where reviewed:admission notes,operative notes,and discharge *** main study variables included:age,presenting symptoms,family history,tumor location,operation,stage/differentiation of disease,and post operative *** of disease was classified according to the American Joint Committee on Cancer TNM staging system:tumor depth;node status;and ***:CRC was found in 180 patients under age50 years(87 females,93 males;mean age 41.4±6.2years).Young patients accounted for 11.2%of cases during a 6 year period for which the full data set *** percent had a 1stdegree and 12%a 2nd degree family CRC *** all patients(94%)were symptomatic at diagnosis;common symptoms included:bleeding(59%),obstruction(9%),and abdominal/rectal pain(35%).Evaluation was often delayed and bleeding frequently attributed to *** stage CRC(Stage 3 or 4)was noted in 53%of *** tumors were distal to the splenic flexure(77%)and 39%involved the *** patients(95%)had segmental resections;6 patients had subtotal/total *** differentiated tumors were noted in 12%and mucinous lesions in 19%of patients of which most had Stage 3 or 4 ***-two patients(13%)developed recurrence and/or progression of disease to *** patients(ages 42,42and 49 years)went on to develop metachronous primary colon cancers within 3 to 4 years of their initial ***:CRC was common in young patients with no family *** patients with symptoms merit a timely evaluation to avoid presentation with late stage CRC.

Background Asthma is a significant chronic health problem worldwide. Management aims at disease control by reducing functional impairment and exacerbations and improving quality of life (QoL). We report a multi-center study to survey asthma control and QoL in four cities in the Pearl River Delta. Methods The conjoint survey involved ten hong Kong pediatric hospitals/units, two Shenzhen hospitals, two Macao hos-pitals, and two Guangzhou hospitals on asthma control (using Asthma Control Test) and QoL (Pediatric Allergic Disease Quality of Life Questionnaire, PADQLQ). Acceptability of a treatment is graded as very good/good/fair/poor. Results Good asthma control was only reported in 80% subjects in hong Kong, but higher in sister cities (85–94%, Phowed better control of asthma was associated with better PADQLQ (B=?0.029, P hodilator (B=?1.488, P = 0.025), negatively with 'smoker in family' (B=?0.83, P = 0.015) and various PADQLQ domains. Conversely, worse PADQLQ was associated with allergic rhinitis severity (B=4.77, P hodilator usage (B=1.05, P home (B=3.9, P < 0.05). Conclusions There are some clinical and cultural differences among the four southern Chinese cities within the Guangdong province. This study identifies potentially modifiable environmental and treatment factors associated with poor asthma control and QoL for health-care interventions. Having a smoker in the family is independently associated with poor asthma control and QoL.

中枢神经系统肿瘤领域的知识体系庞大,理论与技术不断进步。中枢神经系统肿瘤的临床诊治更是个大学问。2019年第11和12期以及2020年第2期,我在《中国现代神经疾病杂志》主持了3期“脑胶质瘤”专题,内容主要涵盖我国脑胶质瘤临床诊断与治疗指南/规范建设、中枢神经系统肿瘤病理分类进展、脑胶质瘤临床试验创新体系及临床疗效反应评价体系、脑胶质瘤侵袭迁移及免疫治疗研究、脑科学及脑功能研究等临床与转化问题。2020年第2期,我与著名神经病理学家daniel ***教授作为共同通讯作者在Glioma发表“A contemporary molecular view of diffuse gliomas with implications for diagnosis”。2020年第12期,我在《中华神经医学杂志》以“脑胶质瘤的临床诊治撷要”为题,评述当前恶性脑胶质瘤临床诊疗的现实问题。以专题组稿形式推动中枢神经系统肿瘤热点问题的讨论以及新理论和新技术的学习,尤其是在疫情之下,形式适宜、开卷有益。
