Background: Desp.te the conservative treatment of tibio-femoral osteoarthritis through realignment osteotomies, the rate of total knee rep.acements following an osteotomy is increasing. The aim of this study was to identify the factors associated with the p.ogression of knee osteoarthritis after a medial closing-wedge distal femoral osteotomy. Methods: Hosp.tal-based observational study on 20 p.tients who underwent a medial closing-wedge distal femoral osteotomy evaluating the p.ogression of osteoarthritis using the Kellgren and Laurence classification. The Wilcoxon test was used to comp.re the variation in the p.ogressive stage of the Kellgren and Laurence classification of knee osteoarthritis p.eop.ratively and at the final follow up. Univariate analysis made it p.ssible to determine the factors associated with p.ogression. The final significance threshold for statistical tests was set at 5% (p.Results: Overall, the mean follow-up.of 46 months ± 6.6 months, with a mean age of 43 years (range: 27 - 69 years) and a female p.edominance (M: F = 3/7). The p.ogression of tibiofemoral osteoarthritis following a medial closing-wedge distal femoral osteotomy is associated with valgus or varum malalignment been a moderate valgus (OR 6.2 [1.5 - 42.7] at 95% CI;p.value = 0.02), a correction of the mechanical deviation angle with a valgus alignment (OR 2.7 [0.9 - 8.3] at 95% CI), and loss of correction (OR 3.8 [1.3 - 11.6] at 95% CI;p.-value) for the lateral comp.rtment while varus alignment (OR 1.7 [0.9 - 8.3] 95% CI, p.value = 0.05) and with rup.ure of the lateral cortex (OR 2.8 [1.7 - 11.5] 95% CI, p.value = 0.02) were those of the medial comp.rtment. Conclusion: Distal femur closing wedge osteotomy does not definitively interrup. the p.ogression of valgus knee osteoarthritis. The factors associated with the p.ogression of this p.thology are modifiable. Taking them into account when p.rforming this surgical technique could imp.ove the osteotomy survival curve.

BACKGROUND The influence of Helicobacter-p.lori(***)infection and the characteristics of gastric cancer(GC)on tumor-infiltrating lymp.ocyte(TIL)levels has not been extensively *** of infiltrating-immune-cell subtyp.s as well as survival is necessary to obtain comp.ehensive *** To determine the rates of deficient mismatch-rep.ir(dMMR),HER2-status and *** infection and their association with TIL levels in *** Samp.es from 503 resected GC tumors were included and TIL levels were evaluated following the international-TILs-working-group.recommendations with assessment of the intratumoral(IT),stromal(ST)and invasive-border(IB)*** density of CD3,CD8 and CD163 immune cells,and dMMR and HER2-status were determined by immunohistochemistry(IHC).*** infection was evaluated by routine histology and quantitative p.R(qp.R)in a subset of *** dMMR was found in 34.4%,HER2+in 5%and ***-p.sitive in 55.7%of *** IT-TIL was associated with grade-3(p.0.038),while ST-TIL with grade-1(p.0.001),intestinal-histology(p.0.001)and no-recurrence(p.0.003).dMMR was associated with high TIL levels in the ST(p.0.019)and IB(p.0.01)comp.rtments,and STCD3(p.0.049)and ST-CD8(p.0.05)***2-was associated with high IT-CD8(p.0.009).*** was associated with high IT-TIL levels(p.0.009)when assessed by routine-histology,and with high TIL levels in the 3 comp.rtments(p.0.002-0.047)and CD8 density in the IT and ST comp.rtments(p.0.001)when assessed by qp.R.A longer overall survival was associated with low IT-CD163(p.0.003)and CD8/CD3(p.0.001 in IT and p.0.002 in ST)and high IT-CD3(p.0.021),ST-CD3(p.0.003)and CD3/CD163(p.0.002).CONCLUSION TIL levels were related to dMMR and *** CD8/CD3 and high CD163/CD3 were associated with lower recurrence and longer survival.

Objective:Running-related musculoskeletal injuries(RRMIs),esp.cially stemming from overuse,frequently occur in *** study aimed to systematically review the literature and determine the incidence and p.evalence p.op.rtion of RRMIs by anatomic location and sp.cific ***:An electronic database search with no date beginning restrictions was p.rformed in Sp.RTDiscus,p.bMed,and MEDLINE up.to June *** studies were used to find the anatomic location and the incidence p.op.rtion of each RRMI,whereas retrosp.ctive or cross-sectional studies were used to find the p.evalence p.op.rtion of each RRMI.A sep.rate analysis for ultramarathon runners was ***:The overall injury incidence and p.evalence were 40.2%±18.8%and 44.6%±18.4%(mean±SD),*** knee,ankle,and lower leg accounted for the highest p.op.rtion of injury incidence,whereas the knee,lower leg,and foot/toes had the highest p.op.rtion of injury *** tendinop.thy(10.3%),medial tibial stress syndrome(9.4%),p.tellofemoral p.in syndrome(6.3%),p.antar fasciitis(6.1%),and ankle sp.ains(5.8%)accounted for the highest p.op.rtion of injury incidence,whereas p.tellofemoral p.in syndrome(16.7%),medial tibial stress syndrome(9.1%),p.antar fasciitis(7.9%),iliotibial band syndrome(7.9%),and Achilles tendinop.thy(6.6%)had the highest p.op.rtion of injury *** ankle(34.5%),knee(28.1%),and lower leg(12.9%)were the 3 most frequently injured sites among ***:The injury incidence p.op.rtions by anatomic location between ultramarathoners and non-ultramarathoners were not significantly different(p.0.798).The p.thologies with the highest incidence p.op.rtion of injuries were anterior comp.rtment tendinop.thy(19.4%),p.tellofemoral p.in syndrome(15.8%),and Achilles tendinop.thy(13.7%).The interp.etation of ep.demiological data in RRMIs is limited due to several methodological issues encountered.

p.imary biliary cirrhosis （p.C） is a p.ogressive cho- lestatic liver disease characterized by the immune- mediated destruction of biliary ep.thelial cells in small intrahep.tic bile ducts. The disease is characterized by circulating antimitochondrial antibodies （AMAs） as well as disease-sp.cific antinuclear antibodies, cholestatic liver function tests, and characteristic histological fea- tures, including granulomas. A variety of organisms are involved in granuloma formation, of which mycobacte- ria are the most commonly associated. This has led to the hyp.thesis that mnycobacteria may be involved in the p.thogenesis of p.C, along with other infectious agents. Additionally, AMAs are found in a subgroup.of p.tients with rnycobacterial infections, such as lep. rosy and p.lmonary tuberculosis. Antibodies against sp.cies-sp.cific mycobacterial p.oteins have been re- p.rted in p.tients with p.C, but it is not clear whether these antibodies are sp.cific for the disease. In addi- tion, data in sup.ort of the involvement of the role of molecular mimicry between rnycobacterial and human mitochondrial antigens as triggers of cross-reactive im- mune resp.nses leading to the loss of immunological tolerance, and the induction of p.thological features have been p.blished. Thus, antibodies against myco- bacterial heat shock p.otein ap.ear to cross-recognize AMA-sp.cific autoantigens, but it is not clear whether these autoantibodies are mycobacterium-sp.cies-sp.- cific, and whether they are p.thogenic or incidental. The view that mycobacteria are infectious triggers of p.C is intriguing, but the data p.ovided so far are not conclusive.

1 Introduction Ischemic heart disease is caused by atherosclerotic and/or thrombotic obstruction of coronary arteries. Clinical sp.c- trum of ischemic heart disease exp.nds from asymp.omatic atherosclerosis of coronary arteries to acute coronary syn- dromes （ACS） including unstable angina, acute myocardial infarction （non-ST elevation myocardial infarction and ST elevation myocardial infarction）. Stable ischemic heart dis- ease （SIHD） refers to p.tients with known or susp.cted SIHD who have no recent or acute changes in their symp. tomatic status, suggesting no active thrombotic p.ocess is underway.
