In the past, stainless steel was utilized as cladding in many PWRs （pressurized water reactors）, and its performance under irradiation was excellent. However, stainless steel was replaced by zirconium-based alloy as cladding material mainly due to its lower neutron absorption cross section. Now, stainless steel cladding appears as a possible solution for safety problems related to hydrogen production and explosion as occurred in Fukushima Daiichi accident. The aim of this paper is to discuss the steady-state irradiation performance using stainless steel as cladding. The results show that stainless steel rods display higher fuel temperatures and wider pellet-cladding gaps than Zircaloy rods and no gap closure. The thermal performance of the two rods is very similar and the neutron absorption penalty due to stainless steel use could be compensating by combining small increase in U-235 enrichment and pitch size changes.

AIM:To study the association between genetic ancestry,non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) metabolic characteristics in two cohorts of patients,from Brazil and Portugal. METHODS:We included 131 subjects from Brazil [(n = 45 with simple steatosis(S. Steatosis) and n = 86 with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)] and 90 patients from Portugal(n = 66,S. Steatosis; n = 24,NASH). All patients had biopsy-proven NAFLD. In histologic evaluation NAFLD activity score was used to assess histology and more than 5 points defined NASH in this study. Patients were divided into two groups according to histology diagnosis:simple steatosis or non-alcoholic statohepatitis. Genetic ancestry was assessed using real-time polymerase chain reaction. Seven ancestry informative markers(AT3-I/D,LPL,Sb19.3,APO,FYNull,PV92,and CkMM) with the greatest ethnicgeographical differential frequencies(≥ 48%) were used to define genetic ancestry. Data were analyzed using R PROJECTS software. Ancestry allele frequencies between groups were analyzed by GENEPOP onlineand the estimation of genetic ancestry contribution was evaluated by ADMIX-95 software. The 5% alpha-error was considered as significant(P abetes(NASH 56 ± 1.1 years old vs S. Steatosis 51 ± 1.5 years old,P = 3.7 x 10-9),dyslipidemia(NASH 63% vs S. Steatosis 37%,P = 0.009),higher fasting glucose levels(NASH 124 ± 5.2 vs S. Steatosis 106 ± 5.3,P = 0.001) and Homeostatic Model of Assessment index > 2.5 [NASH 5.3(70.8%) vs S. Steatosis 4.6(29.2%) P = 0.04]. In the Portuguese study population,dyslipidemia was present in all patients with NASH(P = 0.03) and hypertension was present in a larger percentage of subjects in the S. 本文提出了一种由适合定量分析的纸张制造的为整个微流体多组分分析的化学传感装置喷墨打印方法，只需要一个单一的印刷设备，使用喷墨打印设备通过喷墨蚀刻的方法在滤纸上制造立体亲水性的微流控模式（550微米范围内的流通渠道）和传感领域（1．5毫米×1．5毫米），从而在局部溶解在聚苯乙烯质量分数为1％的的甲苯溶液中浸泡滤纸而获得的疏水性聚苯乙烯层。在第二个步骤，使用相同的喷墨打印设备打印“化学传感油墨”，到图案的微流体纸装置的明确界定的区域，包括比色分析检测必要的试剂。印刷油墨和感应区域的安排进行了优化，以获得色泽均匀反应。

Background and Aims:As practice patterns and hepatitis C virus(HCV)genotypes(GT)vary geographically,a global real-world study from both East and West covering all GTs can help inform practice policy toward the 2030 HCV elimination *** study aimed to assess the effectiveness and tolerability of DAA treatment in routine clinical practice in a multinational cohort for patients infected with all HCV GTs,focusing on GT3 and ***:We analyzed the sustained virological response(SVR12)of 15,849 chronic hepatitis C patients from 39 Real-World Evidence from the Asia Liver Consortium for HCV clinical sites in Asia Pacific,North America,and Europe between 07/01/2014–07/01/***:The mean age was 62±13 years,with 49.6%*** demographic breakdown was 91.1%Asian(52.9%Japanese,25.7%Chinese/Taiwan residents,5.4%korean,3.3%Malaysian,and 2.9%Vietnamese),6.4%White,1.3%Hispanic/Latino,and 1%Black/***,34.8%had cirrhosis,8.6%had hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),and 24.9%were treatment-experienced(20.7%with interferon,4.3%with direct-acting antivirals).The largest group was GT1(10,246[64.6%]),followed by GT2(3,686[23.2%]),GT3(1,151[7.2%]),GT6(457[2.8%]),GT4(47[0.3%]),GT5(1[0.006%]),and untyped GTs(261[1.6%]).The overall SVR12 was 96.9%,with rates over 95%for GT1/2/3/6 but 91.5%for ***12 for GT3 was 95.1%overall,98.2%for GT3a,and 94.0%for ***12 was 98.3%overall for GT6,lower for patients with cirrhosis and treatment-experienced(TE)(93.8%)but≥97.5%for tretment-naive patients regardless of cirrhosis *** multivariable analysis,advanced age,prior treatment failure,cirrhosis,active HCC,and GT3/4 were independent predictors of lower SVR12,while being Asian was a significant predictor of achieving ***:In this diverse multinational realworld cohort of patients with various GTs,the overall cure rate was 96.9%,despite large numbers of patients with cirrhosis,HCC,TE,and GT3/***12 for GT3/6 with cirrhosis and TE was lower but st
