Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and endophytic fungi differentially modulate polyamines or proline of peach in response to soil flooding

Symbiotic fungi are involved in plant flooding tolerance,while the underlying mechanism is not yet *** polyamines(PAs)and proline are also associated with stress tolerance,it is hypothesized that the enhancement of stress resistance by symbiotic fungi is associated with changes in PAs and/or *** aim of this study was to analyze the effect of inoculation with Funneliformis mosseae and Serendipita indica on plant growth,PAs,and proline and the metabolisms in peach(Prunus persica)under ***-week flooding did not affect root colonization frequence of ***,while it promoted root colonization frequence of *** flooding,plants inoculated with *** and *** maintained relatively higher growth rates than uninoculated *** mosseae promoted root ornithine(Orn)contentration and arginine(Arg)and Orn decarboxylase activities under flooding,which promoted putrescine(Put),cadaverine(Cad),and spermidine(Spd)***,*** decreased contentrations of Arg,Orn,and agmatine and Arg decarboxylase activities,thus decreasing PA contentrations under *** were negatively correlated with the expression of PA uptake transporter genes,PpPUT1 and PpPUT2,in *** transporter genes of ***(FmTPO)and ***(SiTPO)were regulated by flooding,of which FmTPO1 was positively correlated with Put,Cad,and Spd,along with positive correlations of Spd with SiTPO1,SiTPO2,and *** flooding,*** decreased proline concentration,while *** increased proline concentration and correlated with expression of a△^(1)-pyrroline-5-carboxylate synthetase gene,*** was thus concluded that *** modulated polyamine accumulation,while *** induced proline accumulation to tolerate flooding.

Influencing factors and risk prediction model for emergence agitation after general anesthesia for primary liver cancer

BACKGROUND General anesthesia is commonly used in the surgical management of gastrointestinal tumors;however,it can lead to emergence agitation(EA).EA is a common complication associated with general anesthesia,often characterized by behaviors,such as crying,struggling,and involuntary limb movements in *** treatment is delayed,there is a risk of incision cracking and bleeding,which can significantly affect surgical ***,having a proper understanding of the factors influencing the occurrence of EA and implementing early preventive measures may reduce the incidence of agitation during the recovery phase from general anesthesia,which is beneficial for improving patient *** To analyze influencing factors and develop a risk prediction model for EA occurrence following general anesthesia for primary liver *** Retrospective analysis of clinical data from 200 patients who underwent hepatoma resection under general anesthesia at wenzhou Central Hospital(January 2020 to December 2023)was ***-surgery,the Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale was used to evaluate EA presence,noting EA incidence after general *** were categorized by EA presence postoperatively,and the influencing factors were analyzed using logistic regression.A nomogram-based risk prediction model was constructed and evaluated for differentiation and fit using receiver operating characteristics and calibration *** EA occurred in 51(25.5%)*** analysis identified advanced age,American Society of Anesthesiologists(ASA)grade Ⅲ,indwelling catheter use,and postoperative pain as risk factors for EA(Pwas a protective factor against EA(Pwas 0.972[95%confidence interval(CI):0.947-0.997]for the training set and 0.979(95%CI:0.951-1.000)for the test ***-Lemeshow test showed a good fit(χ^(2)=5.483,P=0.705),and calibration curves showed

Design and Implementation of Nonlinear Precoding for MIMO-SDMA Toward 6G wireless

In this paper,we present a novel and robust nonlinear precoding(NLP)design and detection structure specifically tailored for multiple-input multipleoutput space division multiple access(MIMO-SDMA)systems toward 6G *** approach aims to effectively mitigate the impact of imperfect channel estimation by leveraging the channel fluctuation mean square error(MSE)for reconstructing a highly accurate precoding matrix at the ***,we introduce a simplified receiver structure that eliminates the need for equalization,resulting in reduced interference and notable enhancements in overall system *** conduct both computer simulations and experimental tests to validate the efficacy of our proposed *** results reveals that the proposed NLP scheme offers significant performance improvements,making it particularly well-suited for the forthcoming 6G wireless.

The deformation structure of soft sediments has always been a research hotspot,which is of great significance for analyzing the tectonic and sedimentary evolution background of a basin,as well as the physical properties of *** studies have reported that a large number of soft sediment deformation structures are developed in the western part of Liaohe *** this study,through core observation and thin section identification,various types of deformation structures are identified in the core samples which are collected from the upper Es4 in the Leijia region,western sag of Liaohe depression,such as liquefied dikes,liquefied breccia,convoluted laminae,annular bedding,synsedimentary faults,vein structures,*** on the characteristics of core structure,single well profile and continuous well profile,combined with the regional background,this study clarifies that the deformation structure of soft sediments in the study area is mainly caused by seismic *** is found that the permeability and porosity of deformation layers in the study area are higher than those of the undeformation layers,which proves that the deformation structure of soft sediments has a good effect on improving the physical properties of reservoirs.

Discovery of the choristodere Hyphalosaurus baitaigouensis from the Lower Cretaceous Jiufotang Formation of western Liaoning,China and its paleobiogeographic significance

The water-living reptile genus Hyphalosaurus was previously discovered in the Lower Cretaceous Yixian Formation bearing the middle Jehol Biota in western Liaoning,*** complete skeletons of Hyphalosaurus are reported for the first time from the Jiufotang Formation bearing the late Jehol Biota at two sites in western *** show the typical characteristics of Hyphalosaurus baitaigouensis in terms of the contact between some cranial bones and the number of cervical and dorsal vertebrae,and therefore are assigned to *** discovery extends the stratigraphic range of this species from the Yixian Formation to the overlying Jiufotang *** paper further briefly compares the main characteristics of the two skeletons,summarizes the temporal and spatial distribution of Hyphalosaurus,and discusses the palaeogeographic evolution of western Liaoning at the middle and late Jehol Biota stages based on the aquatic habits of Hyphalosaurus and the geological background of western *** analytical results show that the volcanic downwarped lakes,with distinct geographical divisions in western Liaoning during the deposition of the Yixian Formation,had not completely disappeared till the deposition of the Jiufotang *** palaeo-lake in the Fuxin-Yixian Basin underwent the process of generation,expansion and shrinkage during the depositional period of the Yixian Formation and finally merged into a large *** palaeo-Dalinghe River,which connected the main basins in western Liaoning during the depositional period of the Jiufotang Formation,was formed simultaneously.

Bloch oscillations(BOs),an important transport phenomenon,have been studied extensively in static systems but remain mysterious in Floquet ***,by harnessing notions from photonic analogy,we propose a generalization of the existing BOs in photonic Floquet lattices,namely the“photonic Floquet–Bloch oscillations”,which refer to rescaled photonic Bloch oscillations with a period of extended least common multiple of the modulation period and the Bloch oscillation ***,we report the first visual observation of such photonic Floquet–Bloch oscillations(FBOs)by employing waveguide fluorescence *** significantly,the FBOs surpass the existing BOs in Floquet systems and exhibit exotic properties on their own,including fractal spectrum and fractional Floquet *** new transport mechanism offers an intriguing method of wave manipulation that may contribute to rapidly developing fields in photonics,condensed matter physics,and quantum physics.

Strong anisotropy of thermal transport in the monolayer of a new puckered phase of PdSe

we examine the electronic and transport properties of a new phase PdSe monolayer with a puckered structure calculated by first-principles and Boltzmann transport *** spin−orbit coupling is found to play a negligible effect on the electronic properties of PdSe *** lattice thermal conductivity of PdSe monolayer exhibits remarkable anisotropic characteristic due to anisotropic phonon group velocity along different directions and its intrinsic structure *** compromised electronic mobility despite a relatively low thermal conduction results in a moderate ZT value but significantly anisotropic thermoelectric performance in single-layer *** present work suggests that the remarkable thermal transport anisotropy of PdSe monolayer can be used for thermal management,and enhance the scope of possibilities for heat flow manipulation in PdSe based *** sizeable puckered cages and wiggling lattice implies it an ideal platform for ionic and molecular engineering for thermoelectronic applications.

Tough lanthanide luminescent hydrogel for nitroaromatics detection

Luminescent hydrogels have received considerable attention in the application of *** matics are harmful to human health and can be *** skin allergies and central nervous system injuries may also be attributed to the over exposure to ***,nitroaromatics sensor with fast detection and low detection limit is highly ***,novel tough hydrogels were prepared by introducing hydrogen bonds and covalent bonds into the interpenetrating networks of modified chitosan and poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA) via frozen-thawing induced chemical *** synthesized hydrogels exhibit high mechanical strength(0.23 MPa tensile strength at 140% tensile strain,1.0 MPa compressive strength at 80% compressive strain).Strong green emission was realized by energy transfer from the modified chitosan to Tb^(3+)via the so-called "antenna effect." The prepared luminescent hydrogels show an excellent detection effect on nitroaromatic compounds and its detection limit can reach *** hydrogels also exhibit good reversibility and a fast "off-on" fluorescence switching *** work may open up a new way for the development of stable,rapid,and reusable sensors for the detection of harmful nitroaromatics.

Comparison of models to predict air infiltration rate of buildings with different surrounding environments

The air infiltration rate of buildings strongly influences indoor environment and energy *** this study,several traditional methods for determining the air infiltration rate were compared,and their accuracy in different scenarios was ***,a method combining computational flow dynamics(CFD)with the Swami and Chandra(S-C)model was developed to predict the influence of the surrounding environment on the air infiltration *** buildings in Dalian,China,were selected:one with a simple surrounding environment and the other with a complex surrounding environment;their air infiltration rates were *** test results were used to validate the accuracy of the air infiltration rate solution models in different urban *** the building with a simple environment,the difference between the simulation and experimental results was 0.86%–22.52%.For the building with a complex environment,this difference ranged from 17.42%to 159.28%.we found that most traditional models provide accurate results for buildings with simple surrounding and that the simulation results widely vary for buildings with complex *** results of the method of combining CFD with the S-C model were more accurate,and the relative error between the simulation and test results was 10.61%.The results indicate that the environment around the building should be fully considered when calculating the air infiltration *** results of this study can guide the application of methods of determining air infiltration rate.

with the booming development of fifth-generation network technology and Internet of Things,the number of end-user devices(EDs)and diverse applications is surging,resulting in massive data generated at the edge of *** process these data eficiently,the innovative mobile edge computing(MEC)framework has emerged to guarantee low latency and enable eficient computing close to the user ***,federated learning(FL)has demonstrated its empirical success in edge computing due to its privacy-preserving ***,it becomes a promising solution for analyzing and processing distributed data on EDs in various machine learning tasks,which are the major workloads in ***,EDs are typically powered by batteries with limited capacity,which brings challenges when performing energy-intensive FL *** address these challenges,many strategies have been proposed to save energy in *** the absence of a survey that thoroughly summarizes and classifies these strategies,in this paper,we provide a comprehensive survey of recent advances in energy-efficient strategies for FL in ***,we first introduce the system model and energy consumption models in FL,in terms of computation and *** we analyze the challenges regarding improving energy efficiency and summarize the energy-efficient strategies from three perspectives:learning-based,resource allocation,and client *** conduct a detailed analysis of these strategies,comparing their advantages and ***,we visually illustrate the impact of these strategies on the performance of FL by showcasing experimental ***,several potential future research directions for energy-efficient FL are discussed.
