efficiency of Bio-Fertilizing as One of the natural Alternatives to Improve the Growth of Khaya senegalensis and Swietenia mahagoni Trees and for Sustainability

A field experiment was carried out at Ismailia Research Station, Ismailia Governorate from 2020-2022 to improve the growth of Khaya senegalensis and Swietenia mahagoni by using a combination of mineral fertilizer (nPK) and biological fertilizer (Azotobacter chroococcum, Bacillus megatherium, and Bacillus circulant) as recommended dose under new sandy soils conditions. Split plot designed with four treatments (Control, (50% Mineral fertilizer (M.) + 50% Biological fertilizer (Bio.)), 100% M. and 100% Bio.) of each species. Vegetative growth, leaf area, tree biomass, stored carbon, basal area, tree volume, and in the soil both of microbial account and mineral content were determined. The experimental results showed no significant differences between studied species among the most studied parameters except for Khaya senegalensis which gave the highest significant difference in root biomass and below-stored carbon than Swietenia mahagoni. evidently, the highest significant growth parameters were 100% mineral fertilizer followed by (50% M. + 50% Bio.) as compared with control. no significant difference between 100% M. and (50% M. + 50% Bio.) of shoot dry biomass (15.19 and 12.02 kg, respectively) and above-stored carbon (0.28 and 0.22 Mt, respectively). Microbial account and mineral content in soil were improved after cultivation of tree species compared to before planting and control, especially with 50% mineral fertilizer and 50% bio-fertilizer treatment. In conclusion, a treatment containing 50% mineral fertilizer and 50% bio-fertilizer has led to the ideal Khaya senegalensis and Swietenia mahagoni growth in sandy soil for cheaper and sustainable.

The objective of this study was to examine the early serum proteomic and inflammatory profiles of weaned piglets subjected to iron *** healthy piglets(Duroc×Landrace×Large Yorkshire,body weight:4.96±0.05 kg)were weaned at 21 days of ***,these animals were randomly allocated to one of two groups,with six replicates in each group(maintaining a male-to-female ratio of 1:1),the control group(administered 100 mg/kg Fe as FeSO_(4)·h_(2)O)and L-Fe group(no additional Fe supplementation).The results showed that 42 days after initiating,compared with control group,routine blood analysis revealed a reduction in serum iron content,red blood cell(RBC)count,hemoglobin(hGB)content,hematocrit(hCT),and mean corpuscular volume(MCV)(P 0.05).During the early stages of iron deficiency,piglets exhibited increased villus height(Vh)and the ratio of Vh to crypt depth(CD)in the duodenum(Pnd increased expression levels of iron transporters,including duodenal cytochrome(Cybrd),divalent metal transport 1(DMT1),and ferritin light chain(FTL)(Pequently,isobaric tags for relative and absolute quantitation(iTRAQ)were used to identify serum *** Ontology(GO)analysis of the differentially abundant proteins(DAP)revealed that 24 of the 30 DAP were involved in platelet function,immune response,cellular metabolism,transcription,and protein ***,prothrombin,asporin(ASPn),and Rac family small GTPase 3(RAC3)expression was induced,whereas glycoprotein Ib platelet subunit alpha(GPIbA)expression was *** was accompanied by a substantial reduction in serum complement 3(C3)and complement 4(C4)contents(Ph elevated the contents of interleukin-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-4(IL-4),interleukin-6(IL-6),transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1),and tumor necrosis factor-α(TnF-α)(Pndings underscore the essential role of dietary iron supplementation in maintaining iron homeostasis and modulating inflammatory responses in piglets.

At present,industrial synthetic ammonia was still obtained through the hubble-Bosch process,with large energy *** is a research hotspot to realize green synthetic ammonia by using solar *** difficulty of photocatalytic ammonia synthesis was that the photo-excited electrons have not enough energy to active n≡*** this study,Ti was doped into BiOBr by one-step hydrothermal method,which was oxidized into TiO_(2)when the doping amount reaches the maximum,in situ forming Ti_(0.31)B_(0.69)OB/TiO_(2)*** from the synergistic effect of Ti doping and S-scheme heterojunction,the synthetic ammonia efficiency of Ti_(0.31)B_(0.69)OB/TiO_(2)-11.96 reached 1.643 mmol·g_(cat)^(-1)at mild conditions and without hole scavenger for up to 7 h,the efficiency of synthetic ammonia is 115 times,10.5 times and 3.3 times of that of BiOBr,Ti_(0.31)B_(0.69)OB and TiO_(2),***,DFT calculation confirms that Ti doping accurately refine the electronic structure of BiOBr,facilitate nitrogen adsorption activation and reduce hydrogenation reaction energy barrier,thus accelerating the reaction kinetics of photocatalytic nitrogen reduction(nRR),Meanwhile,constructing S-scheme heterojunction boosts the separation and transfer of photogenerated electron-hole pairs,improving the reduction ability of electrons in the conduction band of TiO_(2)and the oxidation ability of holes in the valence band of Ti_(0.31)B_(0.69)OB.

We report on the structural,magnetic,and magnetocaloric properties of euRhO_(3) *** oxidation states of eu and Rh ions were studied using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).It is found that the eu ions are mainly in the divalent oxidation state while the Rh ions have+4 ***_(3) powders are found to be antiferromagnetic with a second order magnetic transition at neel temperature(T_(n)=2.9 K).Analysis of the magnetic susceptibility versus temperature data in terms of the Curie=Weiss law:(χ=C/(T-θ_(W))) for T>T_(n),yields θ_(W)=-3.1 K and effective magne tic moment μ_(ff)^(exp),which is close to the theoretical value μ_(eff)^(theo).The magnetic entropy change(-Δ_(SM)),was determined by em ploying the thermodynam ic Maxwell's *** μ_0h=5 T and near T_(n),ΔS_(M)^(Max) and relative cooling power(RCP) exhibit large values of 33.7 J/(kg·K) and 238 J/kg,*** large magnitude of-Δ_(SM) and RCP show that the euRhO_(3) compound could be a potential candidate to be used in cryogenic magnetic refrigeration.

highly efficient photo-thermal synergistic catalysis of CO_(2)methanation over La_(1-x)Ce_(x)niO_(3)perovskite-catalyst

Solar-driven photo-thermal catalytic CO_(2)methanation reaction is a promising technology to alleviate the problems posed by greenhouse gases ***,designing advanced photo-thermal catalysts remains a research challenge for CO_(2)methanation *** this work,a series of ABO3(A=lanthanide,B=transition metal)perovskite catalysts with Ce-substituted LaniO3(La_(1-x)Ce_(x)niO_(3),x=0,0.2,0.5,0.8,1)were synthesized for CO_(2)*** La_(0.2)Ce_(0.8)niO_(3) exhibited the highest Ch_(4) formation rate of 258.9 mmol·g^(-1)·hcat-1,CO_(2)conversion of 55.4%and 97.2%Ch_(4) selectivity at 300℃with the light intensity of 2.9 W·cm^(-2).Then the catalysts were thoroughly analyzed by physicochemical structure and optical properties *** partial substitution of the A-site provided more active sites for the adsorption and activation of CO_(2)/h_(2).The sources of the active sites were considered to be the oxygen vacancies(O_(v))created by lattice distortions due to different species of ions(La^(3+),Ce^(4+),Ce^(3+))and exsolved ni0 by h_(2)*** catalysts have excellent light absorption absorbance and low electron-hole(e^(-)/h^(+))recombination rate,which greatly contribute to the excellent performance in photo-thermal synergistic catalysis(PTC)CO_(2)*** results of in situ irradiated electron paramagnetic resonance spectrometer(ISI-ePR)and ISI-X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)indicated that the aggregation of unpaired electrons near the defects and ni metal(from La and Ce ions to Ov and ni0)accelerated adsorption and activation of CO_(2)/h_(2).At last,the catalyst properties and structure were correlated with the proposed reaction mechanism from the in situ diffuse reflection infrared Fourier transform spectrum(DRIFTS)*** in situ precipitation of the B-site enhanced the dispersion of ni,while its enriched photoelectrons upon illumination further promote hydrogen *** h^(*)spillover accelerated t

Four-birds-with-one-stone:A multifunctional Ti-based material for solar-driven water evaporation

Sustainable,environmentally friendly and low-energy desalination materials have important research value for the increasing demand of freshwater year by ***,it is a huge challenge to maintain high heat energy transfer efficiency without reducing the heat conversion capacity of specific solar photothermal conversion ***,their efficiency and durability are greatly limited by the problems of seawater corrosion,oil,and bacteria *** now,no related work has been reported to solve all the aforementioned problems via a simple four-birds-with-one-stone ***,a class of multifunctional porous photothermal silver(Ag)modified Ti foams(Tf-TA/Ag series materials)is prepared for the development of advanced solar water evaporation devices,and provides alternative materials for alleviating freshwater crisis and treating *** oil contact angle(OCA)changes from 41°to 180°,which significantly reduces the adhesion of *** addition,Tf-TA2/Ag sample also shows an excellent and sustained antibacterial effect,which maintains above 99.9%of antibacterial rate after repeated 5 *** surface temperature of the Tf-TA2/Ag sample reaches 52.5℃ after simulated sun irradiation for 20 min,which is significantly higher than that of the contact groups(water:36.4℃,Ti foam:38.2℃ and Tf-TA2:40.9℃).The capacity of seawater evaporation and salt removal is enhanced due to the excellent photothermal properties,low reflectance,and uniform heat dissipation *** water production efficiency of Tf-TA2/Ag sample is 1.41 kg·m^(-2)·h^(-1) in artificial seawater and 0.76 kg·m^(-2)·h^(-1) in oily sewage under simulated sun ***,the hydrophilic and oleophobic properties of Tf-TA2/Ag are critical to extracting water from oil/water mixture in diverse water ***,this four-birds-with-one-stone approach provides a new perspective for the improvement of solar seawater desalination performance.
