Pre-hospital delay in patients with acute myocardial infarction in China:findings from the Improving Care for Cardiovascular Disease in China-Acute Coronary Syndrome(CCC-ACS)project

OBJECTIVE To describe the duration of the pre-hospital delay time and identify factors associated with prolonged pre-hospital delay in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI)in *** Data were collected from November 2014 to December 2019 as part of the Improving Care for Cardiovascular Dis-ease in China-Acute Coronary Syndrome(CCC-ACS)project.A total of 33,386 patients with AMI admitted to the index hospitals were included in this ***-level logistic regression was conducted to explore the factors associated with the pre-hospital delay and the associations between different pre-hospital delay and in-hospital *** Of the 33,386 patients with AMI,70.7%of patients arrived at hospital≥2 h after symptom *** age,female,ru-ral medical insurance,symptom onset at early dawn,and non-use of an ambulance predicted a prolonged pre-hospital delay(all P<0.05).Hypertension and heart failure at admission were only significant in predicting a longer delay in patients with ST-seg-ment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)(all P<0.05).A pre-hospital delay of≥2 h was associated with an increased risk of mortality[odds ratio(OR)=1.36,95%CI:1.09-1.69,P=0.006]and major adverse cardiovascular events(OR=1.22,95%CI:1.02-1.47,P=0.033)in patients with STEMI compared with a pre-hospital delay of<2 *** Prolonged pre-hospital delay is associated with adverse in-hospital outcomes in patients with STEMI in *** study identifies that patient characteristics,symptom onset time,and type of transportation are associated with pre-hospital delay time,and provides focuses for quality improvement.

For the problem that a dual linear motor servo system on the X-axis of gantry moving machining centers is not synchronized during the driven process, this paper proposed an improved variable structure control and decoupling control approach. Firstly, the decoupling control could compensate for the force caused by mechanical coupling, because of dual parallel linear motors that are physically coupled with a mechanism. After that, for the one linear motor servo system, an improved variable structure control is designed, in order to improve the anti-jamming and robust of system. The results of simulation show that the proposed scheme is effective. Not only the synchronization accuracy is upgraded but also the chattering problem of the ideal sliding mode is avoided.

Separation of the ionospheric and thermospheric contributions in the data from the Triple Ionosophere Photo Meter onboard the Feng-Yun 3E satellite

The Triple Ionosphere Photo Meter （TRIPM） is a far ultraviolet nadir-view photometer that is onboard the secondgeneration,polar-orbiting Chinese meteorological satellite Feng-Yun 3E （FY-3E）,which was launched on July 5,*** has three channels,and each is used to measure different types of emissions:（1） 135.6 nm airglow produced by the recombination of the O+ions and electrons in the absence of sunlight （nighttime channel）;（2） 135.6 nm airglow from the OI when sunlight is present （daytime/dusk-dawn 135.6 nm channel）;and （3） Airglow in the N2LBH of the TRIPM （daytime/dusk-dawn N2LBH channel）.FY-3E is a satellite operating in the early morning ***,the data are mostly distributed on the dawndusk side or at times when the solar zenith angle is relatively *** this study,combined with simulation calculations,the data are *** further explore the application value of the data products,a model is used to separate the ionospheric radiative recombination contribution from the thermosphere photoelectron impact excitation contribution in the data from the daytime/dusk-dawn 135.6 nm *** approach not only improves the accuracy of O/N2derived from the 135.6 nm channel and N2LBH channel but also provides the ionospheric 135.6 nm radiance at the same time as the *** results show that the 135.6 nm radiance originating from the combination of O+and electrons extracted from the measurement data exhibits similar equatorial anomaly peak structure characteristics and seasonal variations as the corresponding GPS total electron content （TEC） *** the other hand,the separated 135.6 nm radiance generated from the thermosphere photoelectron collision excitation does not contain radiative recombination contributions;thus,the ionosphere influence is greatly avoided when the O/N2is obtained.

Potential role of tanycyte-derived neurogenesis in Alzheimer's disease

Tanycytes, specialized ependymal cells located in the hypothalamus, play a crucial role in the generation of new neurons that contribute to the neural circuits responsible for regulating the systemic energy balance. The precise coordination of the gene networks controlling neurogenesis in naive and mature tanycytes is essential for maintaining homeostasis in adulthood. However, our understanding of the molecular mechanisms and signaling pathways that govern the proliferation and differentiation of tanycytes into neurons remains limited. This article aims to review the recent advancements in research into the mechanisms and functions of tanycyte-derived neurogenesis. Studies employing lineage-tracing techniques have revealed that the neurogenesis specifically originating from tanycytes in the hypothalamus has a compensatory role in neuronal loss and helps maintain energy homeostasis during metabolic diseases. Intriguingly,metabolic disorders are considered early biomarkers of Alzheimer's disease. Furthermore,the neurogenic potential of tanycytes and the state of newborn neurons derived from tanycytes heavily depend on the maintenance of mild microenvironments, which may be disrupted in Alzheimer's disease due to the impaired blood–brain barrier ***, the specific alterations and regulatory mechanisms governing tanycyte-derived neurogenesis in Alzheimer's disease remain unclear. Accumulating evidence suggests that tanycyte-derived neurogenesis might be impaired in Alzheimer's disease, exacerbating neurodegeneration. Confirming this hypothesis, however, poses a challenge because of the lack of long-term tracing and nucleus-specific analyses of newborn neurons in the hypothalamus of patients with Alzheimer's disease. Further research into the molecular mechanisms underlying tanycyte-derived neurogenesis holds promise for identifying small molecules capable of restoring tanycyte proliferation in neurodegenerative diseases.
