Total ionizing dose effect modeling method for CMOS digital-integrated circuit

Simulating the total ionizing dose(TID)of an electrical system using transistor-level models can be difficult and expensive,particularly for digital-integrated circuits(ICs).In this study,a method for modeling TID effects in complementary metaloxide semiconductor(CMOS)digital ICs based on the input/output buffer information specification(IBIS)was *** digital IC was first divided into three parts based on its internal structure:the input buffer,output buffer,and functional *** of these three parts was separately *** the IBIS model,the transistor V-I characteristic curves of the buffers we.e processed,and the physical parameters we.e extracted and modeled using *** the functional area,logic functions we.e modeled in VHDL according to the data sheet.A golden digital IC model was developed by combining the input buffer,output buffer,and functional area ***,the golden ratio was reconstructed based on TID experimental data,enabling the assessment of TID effects on the threshold voltage,carrier mobility,and time series of the digital *** experiments we.e conducted using a CMOS non-inverting multiplexer,NC7SZ157,and the results we.e compared with the simulation results,which showe. that the relative errors we.e less than 2%at each dose *** confirms the practicality and accuracy of the proposed modeling *** TID effect model for digital ICs developed using this modeling technique includes both the logical function of the IC and changes in electrical properties and functional degradation impacted by TID,which has potential applications in the design of radiation-hardening tolerance in digital ICs.

The effect of glutathione on glucosinolate biosynthesis through the sulfur assimilation pathway in pakchoi associated with the growth conditions

Glucosinolates(GSLs) are a group of nitrogen-and sulfur-containing secondary metabolites, synthesized primarily in members of the Brassicaceae family, that play an important role in food flavor, plant antimicrobial activity, resistance to insect attack, stress tolerance, and human anti-cancer effects. As a sulfur-containing compound, glutathione has a strong connection with GSLs biosynthesis as a sulfur donor or redox system, and exists in reduced(glutathione;GSH) and oxidized(glutathione disulfide;GSSG) forms. Howe.er, the mechanism of GSH regulating GSLs biosynthesis remainds unclear. Hence, the exogenous therapy to pakchoi under normal growth condition and sulfur deficiency condition we.e conducted in this work to explore the relevant mechanism. The results showe. that exogenous application of buthionine sulfoximine, an inhibitor of GSH synthesis, decreased the transcript levels of GSLs synthesis-related genes and transcription factors, as we.l as sulfur assimilation-related genes under the normal growth condition. Application of exogenous GSH inhibited the expression of GSLs synthesis-and sulfur assimilation-related genes under the normal condition, while the GSLs biosynthesis and the sulfur assimilation pathway we.e activated by exogenous application of GSH when the content of GSH in vivo of plants decreased owing to sulfur deficiency. Moreover,exogenous application of GSSG increased the transcript levels of GSLs synthesis-and sulfur assimilation-related genes under the normal growth condition and under sulfur deficiency. The present work provides new insights into the molecular mechanisms of GSLs biosynthesis underlying glutathione regulation.

A Secure Communicating While Jamming Approach for End-to-End Multi-Hop Wireless Communication Network

With the rapid development of wireless communications,cellular communication and distributed wireless network are fragile to eavesdropping due to distributed users and transparent ***,to adopt bigger transmit powe. at a given area to interfere potential eavesdroppers not only incurs huge energy waste but also may suppresses regular communication in this *** this end,we.focus on secure communication in multi-hop wireless communication network,and propose two communicating while jamming schemes for secure communication in presence of potential eavesdroppers for the narrow band and broad band point-to-point(P2P) systems respectively with the aid of artificial noise transmitted by a chosen cooperative ***,to achieve the end-to-end(E2E) multi-hop secure communication,we.devise the secure network topology discovering *** constructing a proper network topology with at least one proper node as the cooperative interferer in each hop,and then propose the secure transmission path planning scheme to find an E2E secure transmission route from source to destination,*** on the wireless open-access research platform demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed ***,simulations results validate that the proposed schemes can achieve better performance compared with existing methods in both the P2P communication case and E2E multi-hop communication network scenario.

Evaluation of the Relative Tectonic Activity from the Faults in the Gengma-Lancang-Menghai Seismic Belt(Southwe.tern China)

The Gengma-Lancang-Menghai seismic belt,the southernmost part of the North-South seismic belt,is controlled by four active faults:the Nantinghe fault(NTHF),the Sanjianshan fault(SJSF),the Hanmuba-Lancang fault(HMB-LCF),and the Heihe fault(HHF),from northwe.t to ***,the tectonic activity of the faults in the Gengma-Lancang-Menghai seismic belt has not been fully studied *** the present work,we.conducted tectonic geomorphic indices to analyze the relative tectonic activity along the faults in the seismic belt based on the digital elevation *** interpreted asymmetric factor,index of drainage basin shape,hypsometric integral,normalized streamlength gradient,valley floor-to-width to height ratio,and longitudinal profiles to show that the relative tectonic activity is higher in the north and lowe. in the south,and is strong in the region from Shanjia to Huimin in the center of the seismic belt.

Effect of Artificial Cooling Extrusion on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Mg–Zn–Y Alloys

Microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg–Zn–Y alloys with different Zn/Y atomic ratios with or without artificial cooling (AC) extrusion we.e systematically investigated in this work. The results show that bimodal microstructure consisting of submicron dynamic recrystallized (DRXed) grains with high fraction of low-angle grain boundaries (LAGBs) and elongated unDRXed grains was formed in Mg_(98.7)Zn_(1)Y_(0.3) alloy with AC extrusion. The AC process effectively limits the growth of precipitated phases, and large amount of nanoscale precipitates we.e dynamically precipitated during the extrusion process. AC extrusion could effectually refine the lamellar 14H LPSO phases and inhibit the transition from stacking faults to LSPO phases in Mg_(98)Zn_(1)Y_(1) alloy and the narrow LPSO phase in Mg_(98)Zn_(1)Y_(1)-AC alloy which could promote the nucleation of DRXed grains. The AC extrusion significantly improves the strength of Mg–Zn–Y alloys. Owing to AC extrusion, the strength improvement of Mg_(98.7)Zn_(1)Y_(0.3) alloy is mainly attributed to fine grain strengthening, dislocation strengthening, and nano-phases precipitation strengthening. After AC process, more fine grains and nano-phases jointly strengthen the Mg_(98)Zn_(1)Y_(1) alloy. The Mg_(98)Zn_(1)Y_(1) alloy obtains optimal mechanical properties after extrusion at 623 K, with ultimate tensile strength (UTS) of 406 MPa, yield strength (YS) of 388 MPa, and elongation (EL) of 5.6%.

●AIM:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of scleral buckling for the treatment of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment(RRD)using a novel foldable capsular buckle(FCB).●METHODS:This was a series of case observation *** patients(18 eyes)who visited our ophthalmology department betwe.n August 2020 and August 2022 and we.e treated for RRD with scleral buckling using FCB we.e *** procedure was similar to conventional scleral buckling,while a balloon-like FCB was placed onto the retinal break with balanced salt solution filling for a broad,external indentation instead of the silicone *** retinal reattachment rate,best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),intraocular pressure(IOP),refractive dioptre and astigmatism degree,and complications we.e evaluated and recorded.●RESULTS:There we.e 7 males and 11 females aged *** average time course of RRD was 12d,ranging from *** retinal break was located in the superior quadrants in 8 eyes and in the inferior quadrants in 10 eyes,with macula-off detachments in 12 *** patients we.e followe.-up for at least *** final retinal reattachment rate was 100%.The BCVA was significantly improved compared with the baseline(P0.05).Three patients had transiently high IOPs within one we.k after *** diplopia occurred in 5 patients after surgery and then disappeared after the balloon fluid was removed.●CONCLUSION:The success rate of FCB scleral buckling for RRD is *** procedure can be expected to be applied in new,uncomplicated cases of RRD.

The main problem faced by ethanol oxidation reaction(EOR)includes low activity,poor selectivity,and *** the study,we.found that polysulfide modified on the surface of PtCu intermetallic(IM)/C can simultaneously enrich hydroxyl and ethanol,which could effectively improve the catalytic activity,CO_(2) selectivity,and durability of *** mass activity and the specific activity of the product in 1 M KOH electrolyte reached 17.83 A·mgPt^(-1) and 24.67 mA·cm^(-2).The CO_(2) selectivity of polysulfide modified product achieved 93.5%,which was 30 folds higher than Pt/*** addition,the catalyst showe. high catalytic *** mechanism study demonstrates that the surface modified polysulfide could significantly boost the enrichment effect of ethanol and hydroxyl species,accelerating C–C bond cleavage and CO oxidation.
