The nanoscale biochar(N-BC)generated during the production and weathering of bulk biochar has caused significant concerns for its cotransport with contaminants spreading the *** this study,the cotransport behaviors of N-BC with Cd^(2+)under variable solution chemistry were investigated for the first time,which can pose environmental contamination risks but have received little *** column experiment results showed that increasing ionic strength(IS)or decreasing pH retarded the transport of N-BC but promoted the transport of Cd^(2+)in their individual *** cotransport scenarios,Cd^(2+)facilitated the deposition of N-BC on the quartz sand with increasing IS or decreasing pH by providing additional sorption sites and led to the ripening of N-BC via cation bridging.N-BC retarded the transport of Cd^(2+)under all ***,lower pH and higher IS could facilitate the release of Cd^(2+)from the immobile *** cotransport modeling results demonstrated that the Cd^(2+)adsorption on and desorption from the immobile N-BC controlled the retention and release of Cd^(2+)under variable pH and IS,while the influence of mobile N-BC on Cd^(2+)transport was *** study provided new insight for evaluating the potential contamination-spreading risks and suggested that rational use of biochar with great caution is necessary.

In topological insulators,massive surface states resulting from local symmetry breaking were thought to exhibit a half-quantized Hall conductance,obtained from the low-energy effective model in an infinite Brillouin *** a lattice model,the surface band is composed of a combination of surface states and bulk *** massive surface states alone may not be enough to support an exact one-half quantized surface Hall conductance in a finite Brillouin zone and the whole surface band always gives an integer quantized Hall conductance as enforced by the TKNN *** explore this,we investigate the band structures of a lattice model describing the magnetic topological insulator film that supports the axion insulator,Chern insulator,and semi-magnetic topological insulator *** reveal that the gapped and gapless surface bands in the three phases are characterized by an integer-quantized Hall conductance and a half-quantized Hall conductance,*** propose an effective model to describe the three phases and show that the low-energy dispersion of the surface bands inherits from the surface Dirac *** gapped surface band manifests a nearly half-quantized Hall conductance at low energy near the center of Brillouin zone,but is compensated by another nearly half-quantized Hall conductance at high energy near the boundary of Brillouin zone because a single band can only have an integer-quantized Hall *** gapless band hosts a zero Hall conductance at low energy but is compensated by another half-quantized Hall conductance at high energy,and thus the half-quantized Hall conductance can only originate from the gapless ***,we calculate the layer-resolved Hall conductance of the *** conclusion suggests that the individual gapped surface band alone does not support the half-quantized surface Hall effect in a lattice model.

With the new development trend of multi-resource coordinated Earth observation and the new goal of Earth observation application of“short response time,high observation accuracy,and wide coverage”,space-aeronautics cooperative complex task planning problem has become an urgent problem to be *** focus of this problem is to use multiple resources to perform collaborative observations on complex *** analyzing the process from task assignment to receiving task observation results,we propose a multi-layer interactive task planning framework which is composed of a preprocessing method for complex tasks,a task allocation layer,a task planning layer,and a task coordination *** to the characteristics of the framework,a hybrid genetic parallel tabu(HGPT)algorithm is proposed on this *** algorithm uses genetic annealing algorithm(GAA),parallel tabu(PT)algorithm,and heuristic rules to achieve task allocation,task planning,and task *** the same time,coding improvements,operator design,annealing operations,and parallel calculations are added to the *** order to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm,simulation experiments under complex task scenarios of different scales are carried *** results show that this method can effectively solve the problems of observing complex ***,the optimization effect and convergence speed of the HGPT is better than that of the related algorithms.

Electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding inhigh-frequency range, especially the rapidly growing terahertz(THz) frequency range, attracts increasing attention due tothe potential application of terahertz in 6G wirelesscommunication, and security inspection. However, traditionalconductive EMI films typically achieve high shieldingeffectiveness through strong reflection, which may causesecondary pollution to other devices. Here, a gradientstructure strategy was proposed to constructTi_(3)C_(2)Tx/hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) film, in whichthe content of Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx gradually increases along the thicknessdirection, resulting in different conductivity of the two surfaces(surface-M and surface-H) for the film. The obtained gradientfilmexhibits an EMI shielding efficiency of over 48.5 dB in theTHz range (0.2-1.6 THz) at a thickness of 40 μm. Especially,as the THz waves incident from the surface-H to the film, the absorption effectiveness reaches 48.2 dB (average absorbedpower loss up to 91.4%), and the reflection effectiveness is only 0.3 dB. In additions, the gradient-film also demonstrates ahigh absorption rate of 95.5% in the infrared band (2.5-16.7 μm). Moreover, the gradient-film exhibits an excellent tensilestress and Young’s modulus value of 173.1 MPa and 2.8 GPa, respectively. Therefore, the gradient-film proposed in thiswork, with excellent electromagnetic absorption in both THz and infrared band, provides a promising candidate for the nextgenerationEMI shielding applications.

This article compared the pyrolysis characteristics of butene isomer fuels(n-butene,trans-2-butene,isobutene)under CO_(2) *** focus of the study was on the impacts of fuels isomerization and CO_(2) chemistry on the formation of important pyrolysis intermediate products under two temperature conditions(at 1273 K and 1573 K).The results demonstrated that at 1273 K,the concentrations of all products in isobutene pyrolysis were significantly lower than those of the corresponding products formed by the pyrolysis of n-butene and trans-2-butene in the process of fuels *** generation or consumption rate of each species was arranged from high to low as n-butene>trans-2-butene>*** 1573 K,the chemical effect of CO_(2) could inhibit the consumption of ethylene(C_(2)H_(4)),promote the formation of diacetylene(C_(4)H_(2)),and inhibit the formation of acetylene(C_(2)H_(2))and benzene(A_(1)).During the pyrolysis of n-butene at 1573 K,the chemical effect of CO_(2) was mainly reflected in changes of the consumption paths of C_(2)H_(2) and benzyl(A_(1)CH_(2)).For trans-2-butene pyrolysis at 1573 K,CO_(2) addition could change the main consumption paths of methyl(CH_(3)),which then inhibited C_(2)H_(2) *** addition,CO_(2) chemical action significantly changed the consumption paths of C_(4)H_(2) and A_(1) in trans-2-butene pyrolysis at 1573 *** for isobutene pyrolysis at 1573 K,the chemical effect of CO_(2) significantly inhibited the production of A_(1) by changing the main consumption paths of C_(2)H_(2) and propargyl(C_(3)H_(3)).

Phased-Mission Systems(PMS)are widely applied in aerospace,telecommunication and intelligent systems for multiple,consecutive and non-overlapping phases of *** phasedependent stresses and system structure cause some difficulties to the reliability analysis of *** this paper,we analyze the physical isolation effects on the degradation speeds and across-phase damage accumulations of failure ***,some corresponding reliability and unreliability formulas are ***,a hierarchical Binary Decision Diagram(BDD)-based modeling method is proposed for incorporating functional and physical isolation effects into BDD models,and the analytical method with phase algebras is introduced for studying the failure behavior of PMS with functional *** the case study,we evaluate the collision avoidance system of a fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle as an example to demonstrate the proposed modeling and analysis *** show that the physical isolation effects have significant influences on the degradations of components,which deserves detailed analysis for a more practical and realistic PMS’s failure behavior.
