AIM: Atherosclerosis primarily involved systemic arteries. Luminal surface,a monolayer of endothelial cells,of artery directly exposes to blood and is susceptible to active substances in the blood. Exosomes contain significantly amount of proteins and RNAs. Exosomes can be good and bad for cells,depending on their component. Thus,exosomes may contribute to atherosclerosis by affecting endothelial cells. This study analyzed the relationship of exosome proteins and atherosclerosis. METHODS: Fifty-six patients and healthy subjects were recruited and divided into two comparisons: healthy subjects vs atherosclerosis( HS vs AS),and hypertension vs hypertension plus atherosclerosis( HT vs HT + AS). Serum exosomes were decoded by protein mass spectrometry. The protein profile and function were analyzed by gene ontology( GO). RESULTS: It was found that five child terms repeatedly appeared in"response to stimulus"and "immune system process"of BP of the two categories( HS vs AS and AS vs HT + AS): "positive regulation of innate immune response","immune response-activating signal transduction","activation of innate immune response","innate immune response-activating signal transduction"and "innate immune response activating cell surface receptor signaling pathway". Two child terms repeatedly showed in "binding"of MF of the two categories: "antigen binding"and "enzyme binding". Two proteins,PSMA6 and PSMA7,were repeatedly shown in the two categories. CONCLUSION: GO analysis was utilized for structure hierarchy"tree"to illustrate these proteins involved in various terms in BP,CC and MF. The PPI analysis supplied proteins which may play potentially important roles in AS process. Innate immune system and blood coagulation pathway contribute to AS formation. The proteins,PSMA6,PSMA7 and Annexin A2,may can be the new target proteins for prevention and treatment of AS.

Background Recent studies have demonstrated that the Lenke system is relatively efficient and consistent in classifying scoliosis curves. Basically, fusion should include the main curve and the structural minor curve. The criteria for defining the structural minor curve were established to help guide these decision-making process. The present study was designed to investigate predictors of the structural curve, and see whether it was possible to prevent the formation of the structural curve by interfering with influencing factors to decrease the fusion level. Methods Age, gender, Cobb angle, Perdriolle rotation, Risser sign and the number of vertebrae included in the curve, brace treatment, and curve location were recorded in 145 idiopathic scoliosis patients from July 2001 to January 2007. The patients were divided into two groups： structural and non-structural groups. Demographics and baseline characteristics were compared between the two groups as an initial screen. Logistic regression was used to analyze factors affecting the minor curve to become the structural curve. Results Compared with the non-structural group, the structural group had a higher Cobb angle （（51.34±13.61）° vs. （34.20±7.21）°, P 〈0.001 ）, bending angle （（33.94±9.92）° vs. （8.46±5.56）°, P 〈0.001） and curve rotation （（23.25±12.86）° vs （14.21±8.55）°, p 〈0.001）, and lower flexibility （（33.48±12.53）% vs. （75.50±15.52）%, P 〈0.001 ）. There was no significant difference in other parameters between the two groups. The results of the Logistic regression analysis showed that the Cobb angle （OR： 9.921, P 〈0.001） and curve location （OR： 4.119, P=0.016） were significant predictors of structural curve in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. Every 10~ change of Cobb angle increased the possibility of turning the minor curve into the structural curve by 10-fold. And thoracic curve showed, on the average, the possibility of becoming the structural curve about 4-fold more often than did the thoracolumbar/lumbar curve.

对城市移动轨迹进行深入挖掘,有助于更加精细地理解城市空间动态交互特征.以兰州市出租车GPS轨迹为基础,采用栅格方法,分析城市栅格空间的交通出行量.以栅格为节点,以交通出行量为权重,建立动态有向加权复杂网络.采用Infomap算法识别城市社团结构,研究兰州市城市结构的时空演化特征,并对城市社团识别结果进行可视化分析.研究表明,休息日和工作日城市动态时空交互存在明显差异.工作日的城市空间交互距离和范围较大,空间交互更加紧密;休息日的空间交互范围相对较小,分裂程度较大.高峰期和非高峰期城市空间交互也有不同,城市空间交互随时间动态变化.研究结果可为政府管理城市,商家运营和居民出行提供决策服务.

We report the case of a 90-year-old female patient who was suffering from c-ros oncogene 1(ros-1)rearrangement adenocarcinoma and breast *** about 14 months of a reduced dose of crizotinib treatment,she had a stable disease according to the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors version 1.1(RECIST 1.1).This patient’s case demonstrates that ros-1 rearrangements are not limited to patients of young *** addition,this case indicates that crizotinib,as second-line,or even first-line,treatment may be effective and manageable in elderly ***,for elderly patients carrying a ros1 fusion,a reduced dose of crizotinib may be efficacious rather than a resistance *** on our findings,we recommend that elderly patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma should be considered for inclusion in molecular screening for ros-1 translocation,especially for never-smokers negative for epidermal growth factor receptor(egfr)mutation and the fusion between echinoderm microtubule associated protein-like 4(EML4)and anaplastic lymphoma kinase(ALK).This deserves attention because the population is aging,with increasing incidence and morbidity of multiple primary malignant *** of breast nodules at the onset is one of the limitations of our case,as combination of primary lung cancer with breast cancer is *** all,use of antiestrogens before and after the diagnosis of non-small-cell lung cancer is related to a reduced risk of lung cancer ***,careful attention should always be paid to these cases.

Luteolin is neuroprotective for retinal ganglion cells and retinal pigment epithelial cells after oxidative injury,whereby it can inhibit microglial ***,luteolin holds the potential to be useful for treatment of retinal *** purpose of this study was to investigate whether luteolin exhibits neuroprotective effects on rod cells in rd10 mice,a slow photoreceptor-degenerative model of retinitis ***(100 mg/kg)intraperitoneally injected daily from postnatal day 14(P14)to P25 significantly enhanced the visual performance and retinal light responses of rd10 mice at ***,it increased the survival of photoreceptors and improved retinal ***,luteolin treatment attenuated increases in reactive oxygen species,photoreceptor apoptosis,and reactive gliosis;increased mRNA levels of anti-inflammatory cytokines while lowering that of pro-inflammatory and chemoattractant cytokines;and lowered the ratio of phospho-JNK/*** of the JNK inhibitor SP600125 exerted a similar protective effect to luteolin,suggesting that luteolin delays photoreceptor degeneration and functional deterioration in rd10 mice through regulation of retinal oxidation and inflammation by inhibiting the JNK ***,luteolin may be useful as a supplementary treatment for retinitis *** study was approved by the Qualified Ethics Committee of Jinan University,China(approval ***-20181217-02)on December 17,2018.
