Internal solitary waves(ISWs) contain great energy and have the characteristics of emergency and concealment. To avoid their damage to offshore engineering, a new generation of monitoring and early warning system for ISWs was developed using technologies of double buoys monitoring, intelligent realtime data transmission, and automatic software identification. The system was applied to the second natural gas hydrates(NGHs) production test in the Shenhu Area, South China Sea(SCS) and successfully provided the early warning of ISWs for 173 days(from October 2019 to April 2020). The abrupt changes in the thrust force of the drilling platform under the attack of ISWs were consistent with the early warning information, proving the reliability of this system. A total of 93 ISWs were detected around the drilling platform. Most of them occurred during the spring tides in October–December 2019 and April 2020, while few of them occurred in winter. As suggested by the theoretical model, the full-depth structure of ISWs was a typical current profile of mode-1, and the velocities of wave-induced currents can reach 80 cm/s and30 cm/s, respectively, in the upper ocean and near the seabed. The ISWs may be primarily generated from the interactions between the topography and semidiurnal tides in the Luzon Strait, and then propagate westward to the drilling platform. This study could serve as an important reference for the early warning of ISWs for offshore engineering construction in the future.

Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy for gastric cancer with peritoneal metastasis:a meta-analysis

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy(HIPEC)in the treatment of gastric cancer with peritoneal ***:The relevant clinical controlled studies were retrieved from the databases of PubMed,Cochrane Library,*** ratio(RR),as well as the respective 95%confidence interval(CI),was used as a statistical indicator.1-year survival,2-year survival,and safety were ***:Two randomized controlled trials(RCTs)and 10 high-quality non-randomized controlled trials(NRCTs)were included,enrolling 837 patients(438 in the HIPEC group and 415 in the control group).Compared with the control group,HIPEC group turned out to be of greater improvement in long-term efficacy:1-year survival rate(1y-os)and 2-year survival rate(2y-os).Subgroup analysis of different treatment modes in NRCTs showed that,in terms of 1-year survival rate,(1)HIPEC combined with cytoreductive surgery(CRS)compared with CRS alone,RR=0.68,95%CI:(0.53,0.85);(2)HIPEC combined with intravenous chemotherapy±CRS versus chemotherapy alone,RR=0.54,95%CI:(0.39,0.74);(3)HIPEC combined with palliative gastrectomy versus palliative gastrectomy,RR=0.37,95%CI:(0.22,0.63).As for safety,there were no significant differences in adverse events between two ***:HIPEC can prolong the survival of gastric cancer patients with peritoneal carcinomatosis,and the incidences of adverse events were not increased.

Dynamic Treatment Strategy of Chinese Medicinefor Metastatic Colorectal Cancer Based on Machine Learning Algorithm

Integrated spectrometers with both wide optical bandwidths and high spectral resolutions are required in applications such as spectral domain optical coherence tomography(SD-OCT).Here we propose a compact integrated scanning spectrometer by using a tunable micro-ring resonator(MRR)integrated with a single arrayed waveguide grating for operation in the 1265-1335-nm *** spectral resolution of the spectrometer is determined by the quality factor of the MRR,and the optical bandwidth is defined by the free spectral range of the arrayed waveguide *** spectrometer is integrated with on-chip germanium photodetectors,which enable direct electrical readout.A 70-nm optical bandwidth and a 0.2-nm channel spacing enabled by scanning the MRR across one free spectral range are demonstrated,which offer a total of350 wavelength channels with 31-kHz wavelength scanning *** integrated spectrometer is applied to measure different spectra and the interference signals from an SD-OCT system,which shows its great potential for future applications in sensing and imaging systems.

Intravitreal injection of conbercept for diabetic macular edema complicated with diabetic nephropathy

AIM:To observe the therapeutic effect of conbercept on diabetic macular edema(DME)complicated with diabetic nephropathy(DN).METHODS:In this retrospective study,54 patients(54 eyes)that diagnosed as DME from January 2017 to October 2021 were *** patients were divided into two groups:DME patients with DN(25 eyes),and DME patients without DN(29 eyes).General conditions were collected before treatment,laboratory tests include fasting blood glucose,HbA1c,microalbumin/creatinine,serum *** coherence tomography(OCT)was used to check the ellipsoidal zone(EZ)and external limiting membrane(ELM)*** macular thickness(CMT),best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),and retinal hyperreflective foci(HF)as well as numbers of injections were ***:There were significant differences between fasting blood glucose,HbA1c,serum creatinine,urinary microalbumin/creatinine,and estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)between the two groups(all P<0.05).EZ and ELM continuity in the DME+DN group was worse than that in the DME group(P<0.05).BCVA(logMAR)in the DME group was significantly better than that in the DME+DN group at the same time points during treatment(all P<0.05).CMT and HF values were significantly higher in the DME+DN group than that in the DME group at the all time points(all P<0.05)and significantly decreased in both groups with time during *** 6mo after treatment,the mean number of injections in the DME+DN and DME group was 4.84±0.94 and 3.79±0.86,***:Conbercept has a significant effect in short-term treatment of DME patients with or without DN,and can significantly ameliorate BCVA,CMT and the number of HF,treatment efficacy of DME patients without DN is better than that of DME patients with DN.

Socioeconomics and attributable etiology of primary liver cancer,1990-2019
