Instance co-segmentation aims to segment the co-occurrent instances among two *** task heavily relies on instance-related cues provided by co-peaks,which are generally estimated by exhaustively exploiting all paired candidates in point-to-point ***,such patterns could yield a high number of false-positive co-peaks,resulting in over-segmentation whenever there are mutual *** tackle with this issue,this paper proposes an instance co-segmentation method via tensor-based salient co-peak search(TSCPS-ICS).The proposed method explores high-order correlations via triple-to-triple matching among feature maps to find reliable co-peaks with the help of co-saliency *** proposed method is shown to capture more accurate intra-peaks and inter-peaks among feature maps,reducing the false-positive rate of co-peak *** having accurate co-peaks,one can efficiently infer responses of the targeted *** on four benchmark datasets validate the superior performance of the proposed method.

In order to analyze and process the large graphs with high cost efficiency,researchers have developed a number of out-of-core graph processing systems in recent years based on just one commodity *** the other hand,with the rapidly growing need of analyzing graphs in the real-world,graph processing systems have to efficiently handle massive concurrent graph processing(CGP)***,due to the inherent design for single graph processing job,existing out-of-core graph processing systems usually incur unnecessary data accesses and severe competition of I/O bandwidth when handling the CGP *** this paper,we propose GraphCP,a disk I/O optimized out-of-core graph processing system that efficiently supports the processing of CGP *** proposes a benefit-aware sharing execution model to share the I/O access and processing of graph data among the CGP jobs and adaptively schedule the graph data loading based on the states of vertices,which efficiently overcomes above challenges faced by existing out-of-core graph processing ***,GraphCP adopts a dependency-based future-vertex updating model so as to reduce disk I/Os in the future *** addition,GraphCP organizes the graph data with a Source-Sorted Sub-Block graph representation for better processing capacity and I/O access *** evaluation results show that GraphCP is 20.5×and 8.9×faster than two out-of-core graph processing systems GridGraph and GraphZ,and 3.5×and 1.7×faster than two state-of-art concurrent graph processing systems Seraph and GraphSO.

Supply chain resilience(SCR)refers to a supply chain's(SC's)ability to recover from disruptions timely and *** study uses a combination of contingency and configuration approaches to examine the direct and contingent relationships between SCR dimensions(i.e.,internal,supplier,and customer resilience)and *** analyzes survey data collected from 206 Chinese *** results show that the three SCR dimensions are positively related to customer satisfaction,whereas customer resilience has no direct contribution to financial *** resilience moderates the relationship between supplier resilience and performance(negative for customer satisfaction and positive for financial performance).A taxonomy for SCR was developed based on internal,supplier,and customer resilience,providing a holistic perspective for examining the performance discrepancies among four different SCR patterns:high externalleaning,high uniform,medium uniform,and low *** findings offer insights for managers in building SCR from the crisis-management process.

Eight zwitterionic rare earth metal complexes stabilized by amino-bridged tris(phenolato)ligands bearing quaternary ammonium side-arms were synthesized and *** complexes were used as single-component catalysts for the cycloaddition of CO_(2)and epoxides,and their catalytic activities are obviously higher than those of their binary *** studies revealed that the halide anions(Cl^(–),Br^(–),I^(–))and the metal complexes influenced the catalytic activity,and the lanthanum complex bearing iodide anion showed the highest catalytic activity for this addition reaction.A variety of mono-substituted epoxides were converted to cyclic carbonates in good to excellent yields(55%—99%)with high selectivity(>99%)at 30℃and 1 bar CO_(2),whereas internal epoxides required higher both reaction temperatures(60—120℃)and catalyst loading(2 mol%)for high *** catalyst was recyclable for four times without noticeable loss of catalytic *** on the results of kinetic studies and in℃situ IR reactions,a plausible reaction mechanism was proposed.

Populus trinervis is native to China and plays an irreplaceable role in maintaining the ecological balance of boreal and temperate *** mainly grows in high-altitude *** present,there are limited studies on the response of *** to different light qualities,so it is necessary to investigate the photosynthetic physiological changes of *** in different light *** our study,*** was grown for 8 months under light filtered by three different colored *** three treatments were blue film,green film,and white plastic *** effects of blue(B),green(G),and white(W)light on photosynthetic pigment content,absolute growth,photosynthetic parameters,soluble sugar content,and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters were studied,*** to the Wtreatment,the chlorophyll a and b,carotenoids,total chlorophyll content(a+b),absolute growth of seedling height,net photosynthetic rate(PN),water use efficiency(WUE),total soluble sugars,sucrose,and nonphotochemical quenching(NPQ)of *** were significantly increased under B ***,chlorophyll a and b,carotenoids,total chlorophyll(a+b),transpiration rate(Tr),intercellular CO_(2) concentration(Ci),stomatal conductance(gs),absolute growth of seedling height and leaf length,reducing sugar,total soluble sugar content,and NPQ were significantly increased under G *** results showed that the absolute growth and chlorophyll content of *** were increased under B light,while the sugar and photosynthetic parameters were increased under G *** studies may look into how B light impacts absolute growth and promotional mechanisms,as well as how G light affects the accumulation of sugar levels.

Data-driven diagnosis of high temperature PEM fuel cells based on the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy: Robustness improvement and evaluation

Utilizing machine learning techniques for data-driven diagnosis of high temperature PEM fuel cells is beneficial and meaningful to the system durability. Nevertheless, ensuring the robustness of diagnosis remains a critical and challenging task in real application. To enhance the robustness of diagnosis and achieve a more thorough evaluation of diagnostic performance, a robust diagnostic procedure based on electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and a new method for evaluation of the diagnosis robustness was proposed and investigated in this work. To improve the diagnosis robustness: (1) the degradation mechanism of different faults in the high temperature PEM fuel cell was first analyzed via the distribution of relaxation time of EIS to determine the equivalent circuit model (ECM) with better interpretability, simplicity and accuracy;(2) the feature extraction was implemented on the identified parameters of the ECM and extra attention was paid to distinguishing between the long-term normal degradation and other faults;(3) a Siamese Network was adopted to get features with higher robustness in a new embedding. The diagnosis was conducted using 6 classic classification algorithms—support vector machine (SVM), K-nearest neighbor (KNN), logistic regression (LR), decision tree (DT), random forest (RF), and Naive Bayes employing a dataset comprising a total of 1935 collected EIS. To evaluate the robustness of trained models: (1) different levels of errors were added to the features for performance evaluation;(2) a robustness coefficient (Roubust_C) was defined for a quantified and explicit evaluation of the diagnosis robustness. The diagnostic models employing the proposed feature extraction method can not only achieve the higher performance of around 100% but also higher robustness for diagnosis models. Taklamakan Desert(TD)has been characterized by numerous heatwaves and dust storms,leading to negative effects on societies and ecosystems at regional and global ***,the association between heatwaves and dust storms is poorly *** this study,we describe the association between heatwaves and dust events and propose a mechanism for such compound events in the *** results show that,from 1993 to 2022,the frequency and intensity of heatwaves in the TD have increased at a rate of 0.21 days year^(-1)and 0.02℃ year^(-1),*** than 40% of heatwaves existed with dust events,which significantly lagged behind ***,the higher the air temperature,the hotter and drier the soil,leading to more dust emissions in the *** high-occurrence heatwave years,a large-scale wave train of“cyclone-anticyclone-cyclone”in the northwest-southeast direction was found,with the anticyclone of which hovered over the TD *** anomalous anticyclones favored the formation and maintenance of heatwaves,and subsequent anomalous cyclones in the wave train triggered strong dust events followed by *** climate warming,the compound events of heatwave and dust storm are becoming bigger hazards threatening the socioeconomic and ecological security in the TD,the profound study of which is critical to understanding regional extreme responses.

In recent years,the research field of data collection under local differential privacy(LDP)has expanded its focus fromelementary data types to includemore complex structural data,such as set-value and graph ***,our comprehensive review of existing literature reveals that there needs to be more studies that engage with key-value data *** studies would simultaneously collect the frequencies of keys and the mean of values associated with each ***,the allocation of the privacy budget between the frequencies of keys and the means of values for each key does not yield an optimal utility *** the importance of obtaining accurate key frequencies and mean estimations for key-value data collection,this paper presents a novel framework:the Key-Strategy Framework forKey-ValueDataCollection under ***,theKey-StrategyUnary Encoding(KS-UE)strategy is proposed within non-interactive frameworks for the purpose of privacy budget allocation to achieve precise key frequencies;subsequently,the Key-Strategy Generalized Randomized Response(KS-GRR)strategy is introduced for interactive frameworks to enhance the efficiency of collecting frequent keys through group-anditeration *** strategies are adapted for scenarios in which users possess either a single or multiple key-value ***,we demonstrate that the variance of KS-UE is lower than that of existing *** claims are substantiated through extensive experimental evaluation on real-world datasets,confirming the effectiveness and efficiency of the KS-UE and KS-GRR strategies.
