Pr-Tb synergistic strengthening on coercivity of Nd-Ce-Fe-b magnets grain boundary diffused with Pr-Tb-Al-Ga alloys

Sintered Nd-Ce-Fe-b magnets were grain boundary diffused(GbDed) with Pr_(x)Tb_(80-x)Al_(10)Ga_(10)(at%)(x=0,20,40,60,80) *** effect of Pr/Tb content in diffusion source on magnetic properties,microstructure and elements distribution of GbDed magnets was *** Pr is used to substitute for 75% Tb in diffusion source,Tb consumption per unit coercivity improvement of GbDed magnet reduces by 77%,compared with the Tb_(80)Al_(10)Ga_(10) diffused *** element diffuses into magnets and then forms Tb-rich shell with high magneto-crystalline anisotropy field surrounding main phase grains,resulting in substantial coercivity *** with low melting point diffuses deeply along liquid grain boundary phase during GbD *** can eliminate some sharp defects of main phase grains and make grain boundaries smooth,which provides diffusion channels for further diffusion of Tb ***,there are more diffusion channels for Tb and less Tb enriched at surface region,making Tb diffuse more deeply and improving Tb utilization *** method significantly improves the coercivity,and realizes the green,efficient and high-quality utilization of heavy rare earth(HRE)elements.

Ginkgo biloba extract alleviates fatty liver hemorrhagic syndrome in laying hens via reshaping gut microbiota

background Ginkgo biloba extract(GbE)is evidenced to be effective in the prevention and alleviation of metabolic disorders,including obesity,diabetes and fatty liver ***,the role of GbE in alleviating fatty liver hemorrhagic syndrome(FLHS)in laying hens and the underlying mechanisms remain to be ***,we investigated the effects of GbE on relieving FLHS with an emphasis on the modulatory role of GbE in chicken gut *** The results showed that GbE treatment ameliorated biochemical blood indicators in high-fat diet(HFD)-induced FLHS laying hen model by decreasing the levels of TG,TC,ALT and *** lipid accumulation and pathological score of liver were also relieved after GbE ***,GbE treatment enhanced the antioxidant activity of liver and serum by increasing GSH,SoD,T-AoC,GSH-PX and reducing MDA,and downregulated the expression of genes related to lipid synthesis(FAS,LXRα,GPAT1,PPARγand Ch REbP1)and inflammatory cytokines(TNF-α,IL-6,TLR4 and NF-κb)in the *** profiling analysis revealed that GbE treatment reshaped the HFD-perturbed gut microbiota,particularly elevated the abundance of Megasphaera in the ***,targeted metabolomic analysis of SCFAs revealed that GbE treatment significantly promoted the production of total SCFAs,acetate and propionate,which were positively correlated with the GbE-enriched gut ***,we confirmed that the GbE-altered gut microbiota was sufficient to alleviate FLHS by fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT).Conclusions We provided evidence that GbE alleviated FLHS in HFD-induced laying hens through reshaping the composition of gut *** findings shed light on mechanism underlying the anti-FLHS efficacy of GbE and lay foundations for future use of GbE as additive to prevent and control FLHS in laying hen industry.

background There is no appropriate tool to predict recombinant human growth hormone(rhGH)response before therapy initiation in short-stature children in late *** current study aimed to explore the associations between magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)stages of the knee growth plates and rhGH response in short-stature children in late *** In this prospective cohort study,short-stature children in late puberty were treated with rhGH and followed up for 6 *** proposed a novel knee MRI staging system according to the growth plate states of distal femurs or proximal tibias and divided the participants into three groups:unclosed growth plate group,marginally closed growth plate group,and nearly closed growth plate *** primary outcomes were height gain and growth velocity(GV),which were assessed three months *** Fifty participants were enrolled,including 23 boys and 27 *** and height gain after 6 months of rhGH therapy decreased successively in the three groups with an increased degree of growth plate fusion,especially when grouped by proximal tibias(GV_(1-3 mon)from 9.38 to 6.08 to 4.56 cm/year,GV_(4-6 mon)from 6.75 to 4.92 to 3.25 cm/year,and height gain from 4.03 to 2.75 to 1.95 cm,all Poreover,the MRI stages of growth plates independently served as a significant variable for GV and height gain after therapy,especially when grouped by proximal tibias(all Ponclusion The MRI staging method is expected to be an effective tool for predicting rhGH response before therapy initiation in short-stature children in late puberty.

Spinal cord injury(SCI)is one of the most devastating traumas,and the aberrant proliferation of astrocytes usually causes neurological ***,the mechanism underlying astrocyte over-proliferation after SCI is ***2c(glutamate ionotropic receptor type 2c)plays an essential role in cell *** bioinformatic analysis indicated that Grin2c and Ca^(2+)transport functions were inhibited in astrocytes after *** of Grin2c stimulated astrocyte proliferation by inhibiting the Ca^(2+)/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase 2b(CaMK2b)pathway in *** screening different inflammatory factors,interleukin 1α(IL1α)was further found to inhibit Grin2c/Ca^(2+)/CaMK2b and enhance astrocyte proliferation in an oxidative damage *** of IL1αusing neutralizing antibody resulted in increased Grin2c expression and the inhibition of astrocyte proliferation ***,this study suggests that IL1αpromotes astrocyte proliferation by suppressing the Grin2c/Ca^(2+)/CaMK2b pathway after SCI,revealing a novel pathological mechanism of astrocyte proliferation,and may provide potential targets for SCI repair.

Multi-omics analysis reveals the molecular regulatory network underlying the prevention of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum against LPS-induced salpingitis in laying hens

background Salpingitis is one of the common diseases in laying hen production, which greatly decreases the economic outcome of laying hen farming. Lactiplantibacillus plantarum was effective in preventing local or systemic inflammation, however rare studies were reported on its prevention against salpingitis. This study aimed to investigate the preventive molecular regulatory network of microencapsulated Lactiplantibacillus plantarum(MLP) against salpingitis through multi-omics analysis, including microbiome, transcriptome and metabolome *** The results revealed that supplementation of MLP in diet significantly alleviated the inflammation and atrophy of uterus caused by lipopolysaccharide(LPS) in hens(P oncentrations of plasma IL-2 and IL-10 in hens of MLP-LPS group were higher than those in hens of LPS-stimulation group(CN-LPS group)(P on levels of TLR2, MYD88, NF-κb, CoX2, and TNF-α were significantly decreased in the hens fed diet supplemented with MLP and suffered with LPS stimulation(MLP-LPS group) compared with those in the hens of CN-LPS group(P by MLP were involved in inflammation, reproduction, and calcium ion transport. At the genus level, the MLP supplementation significantly increased the abundance of Phascolarctobacterium, whereas decreased the abundance of Candidatus_Saccharimonas in LPS challenged hens(P bolites altered by dietary supplementation with MLP were mainly involved in galactose, uronic acid, histidine, pyruvate and primary bile acid metabolism. Gravity models given by higher-order scalar curvature corrections are believed to bear important consequences. Einstein-bel-Robinson (EbR) gravity with quartic curvature modification motivated Sajadi et al. to explore static spherically symmetric black hole solutions using perturbative methods. In this study, inspired by their work, we investigate AdS black hole shadows in EbR gravity and demonstrate how the gravity parameter alters the energy emission rate. Finally, we address the same problem in the presence of plasma, because the black holes are thought to be surrounded by a medium that changes the geodesic of photons.
