Urethrocutaneous fistula may complicate hypospadias *** noticed that double-layered preputial dartos flaps added to tubularized incised plate urethroplasty can reduce the risk of urethrocutaneous *** aim of this study was to compare the outcomes of tubularized incised plate urethroplasty with double-layered preputial dartos flaps to with single-layered local fascial flaps in preventing urethrocutaneous fistula.A retrospective cohort study was conducted between January 2017 and December 2020 at Jordan University Hospital(Amman,Jordan).Boys who were aged between 6 months and 5 years,diagnosed with distal hypospadias,and not circumcised were *** primary outcome was the occurrence of urethrocutaneous fistula in patients who underwent tubularized incised plate urethroplasty with a double-layered fascial *** results showed a total of 163 boys with distal hypospadias;among them,116 patients underwent tubularized incised plate urethroplasty with a single-layered fascial flap,and 47 underwent tubularized incised plate urethroplasty with a double-layered fascial *** development of urethrocutaneous fistula was higher in the group receiving tubularized incised plate urethroplasty with a single-layered fascial flap than in the group receiving tubularized incised plate urethroplasty with a double-layered fascial flap after 1 month,6 months,and 12 months(6.9%vs 0,10.3%vs 0,and 5.2%vs 0,respectively),and the difference after 6 months was statistically significant(P=0.02).

Te(Ⅳ),Se(Ⅳ),V(Ⅲ),Nb(Ⅴ)and Ta(Ⅴ)complexes of indole-3-acetic acid(IAAH)ligand were synthesized,characterized by elemental analysis and various spectroscopic techniques like,IR,1H-NMR,X-ray powder diffraction,UV-Visible,thermogravimetry analysis,magnetic measurements,molar conductance and surface morphology using *** the synthesized complexes of IAAH ligand have 1∶2 stoichiometry of the types[Te(IAA)2(NH 3)2]·2Cl(Ⅰ),[Se(IAA)2(NH 3)2]·2Cl(Ⅱ),[V(IAA)2(NH 3)(Cl)](Ⅲ),[Nb(IAA)2(Cl)3](Ⅳ),and[Ta(IAA)2(Cl)3](Ⅴ).Spectral analysis indicates octahedral geometry for the Te(Ⅳ),Se(Ⅳ)and V(Ⅲ)complexes,whereas both Nb(Ⅴ)and Ta(Ⅴ)have a *** bonding sites are the oxygen atoms of carboxylate group for the deprotonated indole-3-acetic acid(IAA)*** thermogravimetry analysis studies gave evidence for the presence of other coordinated molecules(Cl or NH 3)in the composition of IAA complexes,which were further supported by IR and micro analytical *** higher molar conductance data of tellurium and selenium(Ⅳ)complexes reveal that these chelates are electrolytes,while low conductivity values for the vanadium(Ⅲ),niobium and tantalum(Ⅴ)chelates indicated a *** test the antibacterial property of the five complexes in this study,four bacterial strains Klebsiella(G-),Escherichia coli(G-),Staphylococcus aureus(G+)and Staphylococcus epidermidis(G+)were used in the *** effects of the five complexes in the cytotoxicity of Caco-2 and Mcf-7 human cancer cell lines were studied Neutral red uptake assay for the estimation of cell viability/cytotoxicity protocol.

The system performance has been analyzed for π/4 DQPSK mapping scheme, which is differential in nature and hence adding additional advantage. Performance evaluation with random data as well as some images has been taken. Channel modeling has been performed in multipath fading environment. For elaboration of the concept mathematical modeling has been implemented using computer simulation. In this paper, an attempt is made to know the capabilities of DHT-OFDM with non conventional mapping technique π/4 DQPSK.

Overexpression of Her1 (EGFR) in Gastric Cancer: A Saudi Regional Population Based Study

Background: Gastric cancer is one of the commonest malignant tumor worldwide. Its treatment remains a challenge for physicians. Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) inhibitors have played a significant role in the management of solid malignancies including colorectal cancer. In this study we aimed to determine EGFR expression in gastric adenocarcinoma by standardized immunohistochemistry in a Saudi regional population based cohort and also to evaluate Ki-67 proliferating index and p-53 mutation status. Materials and Methods: Gastric carcinoma (GC) cases comprising surgical resection specimens and endoscopic biopsies, were selected, from the pathology archives of King Fahd Hospital of the University of Dammam (KFHU), spanning a time period of 6 years. The histological GC type was delineated according to Laurens classification and immunohistochemical (IHC) protein analysis for EGFR, Ki-67 and p-53 was carried out. Results: 42 cases of gastric GC were analyzed and EGFR overexpression was demonstrated in 4.76% of cases. Out of these 2.38% had membranous and the remaining demonstrated predominantly cytoplasmic along with focal membranous positivity. Ki-67 proliferation index ranged from moderate to high and p-53 mutation status was negative in these cases. Conclusion: Low EGFR expressivity could be reflective of regional variation in cancer characteristics. The study also highlights the inadequacy of the currently employed gastric EGFR interpretation criterions and stresses on development of standardized and uniform EGFR evaluation protocols tailored for gastric needs.

Clinical Effect and Tolerance Analysis of Photodynamic/Electroion in the Treatment of Skin Cancer and Precancerous Lesions

The study was dedicated to explore the clinical efficacy and tolerability of photodynamic/electroion therapy of skin cancer and precancerous ***,a total of 60 patients with skin cancer and precancerous lesions,who were admitted to the Dermatology Department of the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from November 2013 to November 2016,were selected and divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table,with 30 patients in each *** group adopted the photodynamic/electroion therapy,and control group adopted photodynamic therapy(PDT).Two groups of patients were last follow-up to December 2018,and loss of follow-up and death were taken as the end point events of *** frequency of treatment,clinical efficacy and severity of adverse reactions of the two groups were calculated,and Kaplan-Meier curves were plotted to compare the progression free survival(PFS)of the two *** results showed that the number of treatment times per capita in the observation group was 3.6±1.1 times,which was lower than that of in the control group(4.1±1.1 times),but the difference was not statistically significant(t=1.760,P=0.083).The total effective rate in the observation group(100.00%)was higher than that of in the control group(80.00%),and the difference was significant(P0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the follow-up time and PFS between the two groups(P>0.05),but the recurrence rate of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Therefore,the clinical efficacy of photodynamic/electroion treatment in patients with skin cancer and precancerous lesions was superior to that of PDT alone,which increased the risk of

Automatic classification of blog entries is generally treated as a semi-supervised machine learning task, in which the blog entries are automatically assigned to one of a set of pre-defined classes based on the features extracted from their textual content. This paper attempts automatic classification of unstructured blog entries by following pre-processing steps like tokenization, stop-word elimination and stemming;statistical techniques for feature set extraction, and feature set enhancement using semantic resources followed by modeling using two alternative machine learning models—the na?ve Bayesian model and the artificial neural network model. Empirical evaluations indicate that this multi-step classification approach has resulted in good overall classification accuracy over unstructured blog text datasets with both machine learning model alternatives. However, the na?ve Bayesian classification model clearly out-performs the ANN based classification model when a smaller feature-set is available which is usually the case when a blog topic is recent and the number of training datasets available is restricted.

The reaction of iron(Ⅲ)anions,FeCl 3 and Fe 2(SO 4)3 with tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane(Tris)in a 1∶2 molar ratio affords the new coordination compounds NH 4[Fe 2(Tris)2(H 2O)4(SO 4)](Ⅰ)and NH 4[Fe(Tris)2(H 2O)2](Ⅱ).These compounds were characterized by elemental analysis,and their molecular structures were determined by spectroscopic methods(infrared and electronic spectra),magnetic susceptibility,and molar conductivity measurements,and further corroborated by thermo gravimetric analysis and its differential(TGA/DrTGA).According to the experimental data,the complexes can be characterized in the solid state as mono-and binuclear,with a distorted octahedral *** distorted octahedral stereochemistry adopted by the complexes was confirmed by the magnetic susceptibility measurement of NH 4[Fe 2(Tris)2(H 2O)4(SO 4)],which consists of a six-coordinate iron atoms in a distorted octahedral environment constructed from four O atoms(two Tris molecules),two O atoms from the loosely associated SO 4 coordinated ligand,and O,N of second Tris molecule with occupying by four oxygen atoms of coordinated water ***,NH 4[Fe(Tris)2(H 2O)2]complex the mono iron atom is surrounded by six oxygen atoms as four by two Tris molecules and two coordinated water molecules in axial *** and anticancer activities of the complexes were studied and the complexes were screened against bacteria,colorectal adenocarcinoma(Caco-2)and breast cancer(Mcf-7)cell lines.

TCP performance degrades when end-to-end connections extend over wireless links which are characterized by high Bit Error Rate and intermittent connectivity. Such degradation is mainly accounted for TCP’s unnecessary congestion control actions while attempting TCP loss recovery. Several independent link loss recovery approaches are proposed by researchers to reduce number of losses visible at TCP. In this paper we first presented a survey of loss mitigation techniques at wireless link layer. Secondly performance evaluation for TCP through Type 0 Automatic Retransmission Request mechanism in erroneous Wireless LAN is presented. In particular, simulations are performed taking into account the wireless errors introduced over IEEE 802.11 link using a well-established 2-State Markov model. TCP performance is evaluated under different settings for maximum link retransmissions allowed for each frame. Simulation results show that, link retransmission improves TCP performance by reducing losses perceived at TCP sender. However, such improvement is often associated with adverse effect on other TCP parameters that may cost a lot in return under extreme network conditions. In this paper an attempt is made to observe impact of link retransmissions on the performance of multiple TCP flows competing with each other. The analysis presented in this paper signifies the scope for maximizing TCP’s throughput at the least possible cost.

Objective:To optimize the cryopreservation of buffalo bull semen by altering freezing rates within critical temperature range (4℃ to -60℃). Methods: A total of 20 ejaculates each from 5 Murrah buffalo bulls were cryopreserved using programmable biofreezer in 2 phases. In the 1st phase, 9 freezing rates were applied at -2, -5, -10, -20, -30, -40, -50, -60 or -4℃/min (control) from 4℃ to -15℃;at -40℃/min from -15℃ to -60℃. In the 2nd phase, a fixed freezing rate was applied at -30℃/min from 4℃ to -15℃. Six freezing rates were applied at -10, -20, -30, -40 (control), -50 or -60℃/min from -15℃ to -60℃. The freezing from -60℃ to -140℃ were fixed at -50℃/min in both the phases. Post thaw semen quality was assessed in terms of motility, viability, membrane integrity (hypo-osmotic swelling test), sperm abnormalities, and active mitochondria. Data were arc sine transformed and analyzed through one-way analysis of variance using SPSS software. Results: In the 1st phase, percent individual motility, progressive motility and viability were similar among various protocols. Percent hypo-osmotic swelling reactive sperm was higher with freezing at -30℃/min. In the 2nd phase, percent individual motility, viability and hypo-osmotic swelling reactive sperm was higher with freezing at -50℃/min. Sperm head abnormalities were lower at -30℃/min in the 1st phase, but were similar among the protocols of the 2nd phase. Percent active mitochondria were higher at -30℃/min in the 1st phase and at -50℃/min in the 2nd ***:The optimum post thaw semen quality of buffalo bull could be obtained by applying freezing rate at -30℃/min (4℃ to -15℃) and at -50℃/min (-15℃ to -140℃), followed by plunging of straws in into liquid nitrogen for storage.
