Investigating zeolites as hydrogen storage scaffolds is imperative due to their porous nature and favorable physicochemical ***,the storage capacity of the unmodified zeolites has been rather unsatisfactory(0.224%-1.082%(mass))compared to its modified ***,the contemporary focus on enhancing hydrogen storage capacities has led to significant attention towards the utilization of modified zeolites,with studies exploring surface modifications through physical and chemical treatments,as well as the integration of various active *** enhanced hydrogen storage properties of zeolites are attributed to the presence of aluminosilicates from alkaline and alkaline-earth metals,resulting in increased storage capacity through interactions with the charge density of these ***,there is a great demand to critically revie. their role such as well-defined topology,pore structure,good thermal stability,and tunable hydrophilicity in enhanced hydrogen *** article aimed to critically revie. the recent research findings based on modified zeolite performance for enhanced hydrogen *** of the factors affecting the hydrogen storage capacities of zeolites that can affect the rate of reaction and the stability of the adsorbent,like pressure,structure,and morphology were studied,and ***,future perspectives,recommendations,and directions for modified zeolites were discussed.

Disaster-hit and/or un-electrifed remote areas usually have electricity accessibility issues and an abundance of plant-derived debris and wood from destroyed wooden structures;this can be potentially addressed by employing a decentralized ultrasmall biomass-fed gasifcation power generating *** paper presents an assessment of the technical viability of an ultra-small gasifcation system that utilizes densifed carbonized wood pellets/*** setup was run continuously for 100 h.A variety of biomass was densifed and carbonized by harnessing fugitive heat sources before charging into the *** briquettes and furnished blends exhibited inferior gasifcation performance compared to the carbonized *** the absence of tar blockage problems,steady-state conditions were achieved when pre-treated feedstock was *** steady-state conditions for carbonized pellets gasifcation operated at an equivalence ratio of 0.32,cold gas efciency and carbon conversion achieved 49.2%and 70.5%,*** efciency and maximum power output of 20.3%and 21 kW were realised,*** was found that the system could keep stable while the low heating valve of syngas was over 4 MJ/m^(3)on condition that avoiding tar blocking *** results indicate that the proposed compact ultra-small power generation system is a technically feasible approach to remedy power shortage *** addition,process simulation considering carbonized wood gasifcation combined power generation was formulated to produce syngas and *** pellets with the fow rate of 20 kg/h could generate a 15.18 kW power at the air fow rate of 40 nm^(3)/h,which is in a good agreement with 15 kW in the 100 h *** is indicated that the gasifcation combined power generation cycle simulated by Aspen simulator could achieve reliable data to assist the complicated experiment operation.

Multiple-dimensioned defect engineering for graphite felt electrode of vanadium redox flow battery

The scarcity of wettability,insufficient active sites,and low surface area of graphite felt(GF)have long been suppressing the performance of vanadium redox flow batteries(VRFBs).Herein,an ultra-homogeneous multipledimensioned defect,including nano-scale etching and atomic-scale n,O codoping,was used to modify GF by the molten salt ***_(4)Cl and KClO_(3) were added simultaneously to the system to obtain porous n/O co-doped electrode(GF/On),where KClO_(3) was used to ultra-homogeneously etch,and O-functionalize electrode,and nH4Cl was used as n dopant,***/On presents better electrochemical catalysis for vo_(2)+/vo_(2)+ and V3+/V2+ reactions than only O-functionalized electrodes(GF/O)and *** enhanced electrochemical properties are attributed to an increase in active sites,surface area,and wettability,as well as the synergistic effect of n and O,which is also supported by the density functional theory ***,the cell using GF/On shows higher discharge capacity,energy efficiency,and stability for cycling performance than the pristine cell at 140 mA cm^(−2) for 200 ***,the energy efficiency of the modified cell is increased by 9.7% from 55.2% for the pristine cell at 260 mA cm^(−2).Such an ultra-homogeneous etching with n and O co-doping through“boiling”molten salt medium provides an effective and practical application potential way to prepare superior electrodes for VRFB.

Aquatic contamination of diclofenac(DCF),an emergent non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug(nSAIDs),can result in adverse effects to many ecosystems through ***,introducing effective remediation techniques to sequester the pharmaceutical wastes is highly fundamental to prevent their accumulation in the ***,adsorption has been presented as a green and efficient ***,we report the characterization and application of the novel magnetic nanocomposite(GO@CoFe2O4)derived from cobalt-based ferrite(CoFe2O4)and graphene oxide(GO)for DCF *** the optimization procedure,the response surface methodology(RSM)was adopted to investigate the impacts of DCF concentration(1.6-18.4 mg/L),DCF dosage(0.08-0.92 g/L),and solution pH(2.6-9.4)to find the optimum conditions for DCF removal,at 10.5 mg/L,0.74 g/L,and pH 4,*** the adsorption experiments,the kinetic,isotherm,thermodynamic,and intraparticle diffusion models were systematically ***,we have elucidated the role of functional groups on the surface of GO@CoFe2O4 in enhancing the adsorption of DCF *** good removal efficiency(up to 86.1%),high maximum adsorption capacity(32.4 mg/g),GO@CoFe2O4 can be a potential candidate to eliminate DCF drug from water.

Influence of sintering behavior on the microstructure and electrical properties of BaTiO_(3) lead-free ceramics from hydrothermal synthesized precursor nanoparticles

Engineered nitrogen doping on.vo_(2)(B)enables fast and reversible zinc-ion storage capability for aqueous zinc-ion batteries

Vanadium-based compounds with high theoretical capacities and relatively stable crystal structures are potential cathodes for aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs).nevertheless,their low electronic conductivity and sluggish zinc-ion diffusion kinetics in the crystal lattice are greatly obstructing their practical ***,a general and simple nitrogen doping strategy is proposed to construct nitrogen-doped vo_(2)(B)nanobelts(denoted as vo_(2)-n)by the ammonia heat *** with pure vo_(2)(B),vo_(2)-n shows an expanded lattice,reduced grain size,and disordered structure,which facilitates ion transport,provides additional ion storage sites,and improves structural durability,thus presenting much-enhanced zinc-ion storage *** functional theory calculations demonstrate that nitrogen doping in.vo_(2)(B)improves its electronic properties and reduces the zinc-ion diffusion *** optimal vo_(2)-n400 electrode exhibits a high specific capacity of 373.7 mA h g^(-1)after 100 cycles at 0.1 A g^(-1)and stable cycling performance after 2000 cycles at 5 A g^(-1).The zinc-ion storage mechanism of vo_(2)-n is identified as a typical intercalation/de-intercalation process.

A new cis-dioxovanadium （V） complex [vo2（C9H8n3O3）]（C5H5n） involving a carboxyl group coordination employing a tridentate Schiff Base derived from pyruvic acid and isonicotinyl hydrazide is reported. This complex crystallizes in triclinic, space group P1^- with a = 7.3522 （12）, b = 7.8376（13）, c = 14.898（2） ,A°, a = 84.010（2）, β = 86.568（2）, γ= 64.586（2）°, V = 771.1（2）A °^3 ,Z = 2, F（000） = 376, Mr = 368.22, D, = 1.586 g/cm^3, g = 0.677 mm ^-1, R = 0.0421 and wR = 0.1253. The vanadium atom of the dioxovanadium （V） is five-coordinated to furnish a distorted trigonal bipyramid geometry.

nanostructured n-doped carbon materials derived from expandable biomass with superior electrocatalytic performance towards V^(2+)/V^(3+) redox reaction for vanadium redox flow battery

Vanadium redox flow battery(VRFB)is one of the most promising large-scale energy storage systems,which ranges from kilowatt to ***,poor electrochemical activity of electrode for two redox couples still restricts the extensive applications of *** with V^(2+)/V^(3+)redox reaction,V^(2+)/V^(3+)reaction plays a more significant role in.voltage loss of VRFB owing to slow heterogeneous electron transfer ***,n-doped carbon materials derived from scaphium scaphigerum have been developed as negative electrocatalyst by hydrothermal carbonization and high-temperature nitridation *** undoped carbon material hardly has electrocatalytic ability for V^(2+)/V^(3+)*** on this,n-doped carbon materials with urea as nitrogen source exhibit excellent electrocatalytic *** the material nitrided at 850°C(SSC/n-850)exhibits the best performance among those from700 to 1000℃.SSC/n-850 can accelerate the electrode process including V^(2+)/V^(3+)reaction and mass transfer of active ions due to the large reaction place,more active sites,and good *** effect of catalyst on comprehensive performance of cell was ***/n-850 can improve the charge-discharge performance *** of SSC/n-850 can lessen the electrochemical polarization of cell,further resulting in increased discharge capacity and energy *** capacity and energy efficiency increase by 81.5%and 9.8%by using SSC/n-850 as negative catalyst at 150 m A cm^(-2),*** study reveals that the developed biomass-derived carbon materials are the low-cost and efficient negative electrocatalyst for VRFB system.

Dual Isoflurane-induced Preconditioning Improves neuroprotection in Rat Brain In Vitro and the Role of Extracellular Signal-regulated Protein Kinase

Objective To test the ability of isoflurane-induced preconditioning against oxygen and glucose deprivation (OGD) injury in *** Rat hippocampal slices were exposed to 1 volume percentage (vol%),2vol% or 3vol% isoflurane respectively for 20 minutes under normoxic conditions (95% O2/5% CO2) once or twice (12 slices in each group) before OGD,with 15-minute washout after each *** OGD experiments,hippocampus slices were bathed with artificial cerebrospinal fluid (ACSF) lacking glucose and perfused with 95% n2 and 5% CO2 for 14 minutes,followed by a 30-minute reperfusion in normal *** CA1 population spike (PS) was measured and used to quantify the degree of neuronal function recovery after *** assess the role of mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) in isoflurane preconditioning,U0126,an inhibitor of extracellular signal-regulated protein kinase (ERK1/2),and SB203580,an inhibitor of p38 MAPK,were used before two periods of 3vol% isoflurane *** The degree of neuronal function recovery of hippocampal slices exposed to 1vol%,2vol%,or 3vol% isoflurane once was 41.88%±9.23%,55.05%±11.02%,or 63.18%±10.82% ***,neuronal function recovery of hippocampal slices exposed to 1vol%,2vol%,or 3vol% isoflurane twice was 53.75%±12.04%,63.50%±11.06%,or 76.25%±12.25%,*** preconditioning increased the neuronal function recovery in a dose-dependent manner.U0126 blocked the preconditioning induced by dual exposure to 3vol% isoflurane (6.13%±1.56%,Pnd ERK1/2 *** Isoflurane is capable of inducing preconditioning in hippocampal slices in vitro in a dose-dependent manner,and dual exposure to isoflurane with a lower concentration is more effective in triggering preconditioning than a single ***-induced neuroprotection might be involved with ERK1/2 activities.

Metallotectic Context of the Mineralization of the Tondabo Gold Prospect(Brobo,Center of Cote d’Ivoire,West Africa)

The gold mineralization of the Tondabo prospect, located in the northern part of the Oumé-Toumodi-Fettêkro greenstone belt, is mainly hosted in the rhyodacite and to a lesser extent in the mafic volcanics (volcanic lavas and volcanoclastites). These rocks were affected by a hydrothermal alteration marked by quartz veins and veinlets associated with crystals of carbonates, sericite, epidote and sulfides. This hydrothermal alteration induced a pervasive alteration of the surrounding bodies with silicification, chloritization, carbonation and sericitization of the feldspars. The metalliferous paragenesis contains an abundant pyrite, with rare pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite. This mineralization indicates that the Tondabo gold prospect exhibits lithological control. The mineralized deposits are generally affected by a S1 schistosity oriented mainly n000-010° and minority n040-050° with a general dip of 60°-80°to the West;however with rare n-S orientations with a dip of 60°-80° to the East. The drilling intervals show that the highest gold contents are linked to the quartz-carbonates veins and veinlets, which are located in the highly deformed zones, characterizing local shear zones.
