The long-term safety and effectiveness of once-daily tadalafil is crucial,but limited data are available in Chinese patients witherectile dysfunction(ED).In this post-marketing,multicenter,randomized,open-label trial with 2.year follow-up,635 ED caseswere randomized to receive daily oral tadalafil 2.5 mg or 5 mg for 3 months,of whom 580 continued once-daily tadalafil 5 mg for2. ***-emergent adverse events in the 12.month and 2.-month period were similar,with the most common beingviral upper respiratory tract infection,upper respiratory tract infection,and *** improvement from baseline inthe International Index of Erectile Function-Erectile Function(IIEF-EF)score was detected at month 12.least squares mean[LSM]change:7.9,95%confidence interval[CI]:7.5–8.4,P2.(LSM change:8.6,95%CI:8.1–9.0,P2.)were 43.7%and 48.0%at months 12.and 2.,*** Assessment Questionnaire results showed improved erection function in 97.5%ofpatients and improved ability to engage in sexual activity in 95.9%of patients at month 12.these values were 96.1%and 95.0%at month 2.,*** quality of sexual life score based on the Sexual Life Quality Questionnaire(SLQQ)was increased by52.2.at month 12.and by 55.3%at month 2.(both P2.4±2..0 at month 12.versus 65.9±2..2.at month ***-year daily application of tadalafil 5mg in Chinese men with ED showed a favorable safety profile and durable improvement in sexual performance and satisfaction.

Coherent terahertz wave emission from laser-induced plasma in isotropic transparent solid dielectrics

In this Letter,we employ fused silica and two types of optical glass as examples to investigate the coherent terahertz(THz)wave emission from laser-ionized isotropic transparent *** on the laser energy and incident angle dependences,we ascribe the THz emission to the ponderomotive force-induced dipole ***,our investigation on the dependence of THz amplitude on the laser pulse duration confirms the dominant role of avalanche ionization in solid *** THz emission can be utilized to indirectly monitor the ultrafast dynamics of carrier generation and motion during the laser ionization process of solid dielectrics.

Generating Factual Text via Entailment Recognition Task

Generating diverse and factual text is challenging and is receiving increasing *** sampling from the latent space,variational autoencoder-based models have recently enhanced the diversity of generated ***,existing research predominantly depends on summarizationmodels to offer paragraph-level semantic information for enhancing factual *** challenge lies in effectively generating factual text using sentence-level variational autoencoder-based *** this paper,a novel model called fact-aware conditional variational autoencoder is proposed to balance the factual correctness and diversity of generated ***,our model encodes the input sentences and uses them as facts to build a conditional variational autoencoder *** training a conditional variational autoencoder network,the model is enabled to generate text based on input *** upon this foundation,the input text is passed to the discriminator along with the generated *** employing adversarial training,the model is encouraged to generate text that is indistinguishable to the discriminator,thereby enhancing the quality of the generated *** further improve the factual correctness,inspired by the natural language inference system,the entailment recognition task is introduced to be trained together with the discriminator via multi-task ***,based on the entailment recognition results,a penalty term is further proposed to reconstruct the loss of our model,forcing the generator to generate text consistent with the *** results demonstrate that compared with competitivemodels,ourmodel has achieved substantial improvements in both the quality and factual correctness of the text,despite only sacrificing a small amount of ***,when considering a comprehensive evaluation of diversity and quality metrics,our model has also demonstrated the best performance.

Lithium/fluorinated-carbon（Li/CFx） primary batteries are widely used in defense and military fields due to their stable discharge plateau, low self-discharge rate, and adaptability across a wide temperature range. However, enhancing their overall energy density and discharge capacity at low temperatures remains a critical challenge. Herein, we report a strategically designed LiBF4-based sulfite/carboxylate electrolyte, where the anion-involved solvation structure significantly enhances electrochemical kinetics by reducing the desolvation barrier. Simultaneously, it introduces a radical reaction mechanism that contributes to additional capacity. As a result, the Li/CFxprimary batteries with this formulated electrolyte deliver a specific capacity of 2.2.7.15 mAh g-1at 2. °C. More importantly, when operating at -40 °C, the batteries exhibit an exceptionally high discharge capacity of 1,549.4 m Ah g-1and an energy density of 2.868.6 Wh kg-1. Even at -60 °C, the Li/CFxcells achieve a specific capacity of 444.3 mAh g-1and an energy density of 82..8 Wh kg-1at 0.1 C, significantly outperforming previously reported organic-based liquid electrolytes. This work offers a viable strategy for enhancing the specific capacity and energy density of primary batteries in extreme environments, providing valuable insights for future developments.

Multi-stream signals separation based on space-time-isomeric (SPATIO) array using metasurface antennas

In spatial domain signal processing, it is necessary to equip more antennas at the receiver to improve spatial demultiplexing capability. However, increasing the number of antennas under restricted space will reduce antenna spacing and raise the channel correlation, making the number of signal streams spatially demultiplexed much smaller than that of antennas. This paper proposes a method to design a space-timeisomeric(SPATIO) array based on metasurface antennas under wireless multipath conditions. Each antenna in this array has a different pattern and varies independently with time, reducing the channel correlation by superposing multipath at distinct positions and moments. Based on the SPATIO array, we present an array parameter design scheme based on infinity norm minimization, which can maximize the received energy of each stream while separating multi-stream received signals. Simulation results illustrate the performance of the SPATIO array for multi-stream signal reception. Compared with conventional multiple-input multipleoutput arrays, the proposed array can reduce the bit error rate by one order of magnitude under the same simulation conditions.

As an emerging network paradigm,the software-defined network(SDN)finds extensive application in areas such as smart grids,the Internet of Things(IoT),and edge *** forwarding layer in software-defined networks is susceptible to eavesdropping *** hopping is amoving target defense(MTD)technology that is frequently employed to resist eavesdropping *** the traditional route hopping technology,both request and reply packets use the same hopping *** an eavesdropping attacker monitors the nodes along this path,the risk of 100%data leakage becomes *** this paper,we present an effective route hopping approach,called two-day different path(TDP),that turns communication paths into untraceable moving *** technology minimizes the probability of data leakage by transmitting request data and reply data through different ***,a brief introduction to the network model and attack model involved in this paper is ***,the algorithm and processingmethod of the TDP are ***,the paper proposes three differentmetrics tomeasure the effectiveness of the proposed ***,theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the TDP can effectively reduce the percentage of data exposure,decrease eavesdropping attack success probability,and improve the unpredictability of the path.

Multi-class classification of pathological myopia based on fundus photography

Pathological myopia(PM)is a severe ocular disease leading to *** a traditional noninvasive diagnostic method,fundus color photography(FCP)is widely used in detecting PM due to its highfidelity and ***,manual examination of fundus photographs for PM is time-consuming and prone to high error *** automated detection technologies have yet to study the detailed classification in diagnosing different stages of PM *** this paper,we proposed an intelligent system which utilized Resnet101 technology to multi-categorically diagnose PM by classifying FCPs with different stages of *** system subdivided different stages of PM into eight subcategories,aiming to enhance the precision and e±ciency of the diagnostic *** achieved an average accuracy rate of 98.86%in detection of PM,with an area under the curve(AUC)of 98.96%.For the eight subcategories of PM,the detection accuracy reached 99.63%,with an AUC of 99.98%.Compared with other widely used multi-class models such as VGG16,Vision Transformer(VIT),E±cientNet,this system demonstrates higher accuracy and *** artificial intelligence system is designed to be easily integrated into existing clinical diagnostic tools,providing an e±cient solution for large-scale PM screening.

Catalytic upgrading biomass-derived ethanol and acetic acid into C4 chemicals

Synthesis of value-added chemicals from biomass is an essential strategy to mitigate the global dependency on fossil resources and achieve the aim of carbon neutrality. Thereinto, ethanol and acetic acid are crucial biomass-derived platform ***, catalytic upgrading ethanol and acetic acid into C4 energy-intensive fuels and chemicals via the elongation of carbon backbone has received widespread attention. The primary focus of this review is to systematically describe the recent breakthrough in the conversion of ethanol or acetic acid to C4 chemicals including 1,3-butadiene, n-butenes, isobutene or *** attentions will be given to heterogeneous catalyst design strategies, reaction parameters on the catalytic performance along with the relevant mechanism investigations, as well as their future challenges and opportunities. The present review will provide the detailed insights into the synthesis of C4 chemicals from biomass-derived ethanol and acetic acid and shed a light on the development of highly efficient catalysts.

Thiamine deficiency is characterized by a deficiency of thiamine(vitamin B1),lactic acidosis,pulmonary arterial hypertension(PAH),right-sided heart failure,and peripheral nerve *** deficiency is easily misdiagnosed and missed during clinical practice and is associated with death in severe cases.[1,2.Here we reported a patient who was admitted to the hospital with severe metabolic acidosis and pulmonary hypertension and finally diagnosed with thiamine deficiency by detecting plasma vitamin B1 *** clinically obvious thiamine deficiency is rare,and cases of thiamine deficiency requiring extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO)treatment are rarer,we believe that our case will be helpful for emergency clinicians.
