The generating functions of special numbers and polynomials have various applications in many fields as well as mathematics and *** recent years,some mathematicians have studied degenerate version of them and obtained many interesting *** this in mind,in this paper,we introduce the degenerate r-Dowling polynomials and numbers associated with the degenerate r-Whitney numbers of the second *** derive many interesting properties and identities for them including generating functions,Dobinski-like formula,integral representations,recurrence relations,differential equation and various explicit *** addition,we explore some expressions for them that can be derived from repeated applications of certain operators to the exponential functions,the derivatives of them and some identities involving them.

AIM: To study the distributions and frequencies of intestinal endocrine cells in the C57BL/6 mouse with immunohistochemical method using seven types of specific antisera against chromogranin A (CGA), serotonin,somatostatin, glucagons, gastrin, cholecystokinin (CCK)-8 and human pancreatic polypeptide (hPP) after abdominal subcutaneous implantation of murine lung carcinoma (3LL).METHODS: The experimental animals were divided into two groups, one is non-implanted Sham and the other is 3LL-implanted group. Samples were collected from six regions of intestinal tract at 28th d after implantation of 3LL cells (1×105 cell/mouse).RESULTS: In this study, five types of immunoreactive (IR) cells were identified except for gastrin and hPP. The regional distributions of the intestinal endocrine cells in the 3LL-implanted group were similar to those of the non-implanted Sham. However, significant decreases of IR cells were detected in 3LL-implanted group compared to those of non-implanted Sham. CGA- and serotonin-IR cells significantly decreased in 3LL-implanted groups compared to that of non-implanted Sham. Somatostatin-IR cells in the jejunum and ileum and CCK-8-IR cells in the jejunum of 3LL-implanted groups significantly decreased compared to that of non-implanted Sham. In addition,glucagon-IR cells were restricted to the ileum and colon of non-implanted ***: Implantation of tumor cell mass (3LL)induced severe quantifiable changes of intestinal endocrine cell density and the abnormality in density of intestinal endocrine cells may contribute to the development of gastrointestinal symptoms such as anorexia and indigestion, frequently encountered in patients with cancer.

Endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD) is a highly refined technique compared to conventional endoscopic mucosal *** enables complete resection of early gastric cancer(EGC) which has no possibility of lymph node *** for ESD of EGC generally entails early gastric cancer confined to the mucosa with well differentiated histology,though there are clinically suitable expanded *** ESD requires specific skill and expertise,endoscopists need to be familiarized with basic methods and the use of special *** essence of the technique is to dissect the submucosal layer with direct vision and maintain thecutting plane above the underlying proper muscle *** there are some differences in the detailed technical aspect,the cardinal method of ESD is now well established and ***,research and development of new ESD devices that render more efficient,safe ESD are still in progress to improve the overall result of ESD on early gastric cancer.

Historically, the lack of melanocytes in the vaginal and cervical mucus membranes has deterred the findings of primary melanomas. Mainly due to its rarity, difficulty to diagnose, and poor prognosis, there has been no absolute agreement on comprehensive treatment so far. In this case report, we present a case of a 46-year-old woman with primary malignant melanoma of uterine cervix. She underwent neo-adjuvant chemotherapy initially followed by a radical hysterectomy. After adjuvant concurrent chemo-radiation, the patient has been followed up for 24 months. So far, she has not shown any symptoms or signs of recurrence. Further studies with more cases based on variable combinations of treatment regimen have been on the way.

Regional Distribution of Perceived Temperatures Estimated by the Human Heat Budget Model (the Klima-Michel Model) in South Korea

The regional distribution of perceived temperatures （PT） for 28 major weather stations in South Korea during the past 22 years （1983-2004） was investigated by employing a human heat budget model, the Klima-Michel model. The frequencies of a cold stress and a heat load by each region were compared. The sensitivity of PT in terms of the input of synoptic meteorological variables were successfully tested. Seogwipo in Jeju Island appears to be the most comfortable city in Korea. Busan also shows a high frequency in the comfortable PT range. The frequency of the thermal comfort in Seoul is similar to that of daejeon with a relatively low frequency. In this study, inland cities like daegu and daejeon had very hot thermal sensations. Low frequencies of hot thermal sensations appeared in coastal cities （e.g., Busan, Incheon, and Seogwipo）. Most of the 28 stations in Korea exhibited a comfort thermal sensation over 40% in its frequency, except for the mountainous regions. The frequency of a heat load is more frequent than that of a cold stress. There are no cities with very cold thermal sensations. In this study, we found the decreasing trend of mortality with an increasing PT. If the PT is over any critical temperature point, however, the mortality rate increases again. The mortality variation with the PT of a station seems to be associated with the latitudinal location of the station, implying that it results from a regional acclimation effect of inhabitants.

Minimally invasive surgery(MIS)has significantly progressed and emerged as the preferred approach for various gastrointestinal procedures,including gastrectomy,cholecystectomy,and various colorectal surgeries(1).However,the widespread acceptance of robotic surgery in liver resection has encountered obstacles,attributed to factors such as the lack of appropriate surgical instruments,the intricate learning curve,and safety ***,the utilization of MIS in liver resection is linked to decreased blood loss,reduced post-operative pain,shorter hospital stays,and lower morbidity rates compared to both open and laparoscopic liver resection procedures(2).

Sessile plants have developed a very delicate system to sense diverse kinds of endogenous developmental cues and exogenous environmental stimuli by using a simple Ca^2＋ ion. Calmodulin （CAM） is the predominant Ca^2＋ sensor and plays a crucial role in decoding the Ca^2＋ signatures into proper cellular responses in various cellular compartments in eukaryotes. A growing body of evidence points to the importance of Ca^2＋ and CaM in the regulation of the transcriptional process during plant responses to endogenous and exogenous stimuli. Here, we review recent progress in the identification of transcriptional regulators modulated by Ca^2＋ and CaM and in the assessment of their functional significance during plant signal transduction in response to biotic and abiotic stresses and developmental cues.
