We report a composite material with the high tribological performance,which consists of onedimensional SnO2 nanotubes(ST)and a high molecular weight poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF)matrix in terms of *** of PVDF in N,N-dimethylformamide(DMF)resulted in a facile penetration of PVDF into the inner hollow voids of ST,leading to the close *** between PVDF and ST results in a beneficial effect on the chain arrangement of PVDF,providing anα-phase with better tribological *** ST incorporation,the friction coefficient decreased by 85.0%to 0.408,and the specific wear rate decreased by 69.1%to 0.412,demonstrating the pivotal role of ST as a self-lubricating material due to a large interactive area and PVDF chain rearrangement.

Two-dimensional(2D)character animation is one of the most important visual elements on which users’interest is focused in the game ***,2D character animation works in the game field are mostly performed manually in two dimensions,thus generating high production *** study proposes a generative adversarial network based production tool that can easily and quickly generate the sprite images of 2D ***,we proposed a methodology to create a synthetic dataset for training using images from the real world in the game resource production field where machine learning datasets are *** addition,we have enabled effective sprite generation while minimizing user input in the process of using the *** this end,we proposed a mixed input method with a small number of segmentations and skeletal bone *** proposed image-to-image translation network effectively generated sprite images from the user input images using the skeletal *** conducted an experiment regarding the number of images required and showed that 2D sprite resources can be generated even with a small number of segmentation inputs and one skeletal bone drawing.

Stainless steels such as STS 304,316 and 630 are frequently used as shaft materials in small fiber reinforced polymer(FRP) fishing *** the shaft material is exposed to a severely corrosive environment such as seawater,it should be protected using appropriate *** impressed current cathodic protection was used to inhibit corrosion in shaft *** anodic polarization,passivity was remarkably more evident in STS 316 stainless steel than in STS 304 and STS *** pitting potentials of STS 304,316,and 630 stainless steels were 0.30,0.323,and 0.260 V,*** concentration polarization due to oxygen reduction and activation polarization due to hydrogen generation were evident in the cathodic polarization trends of all three stainless *** 316 had the lowest current densities in all potential ranges,and STS 630 had the *** analysis showed that STS 316 was the most noble in the *** addition,the corrosion current density was the lowest for STS 316.

We find that the emission from laterally coupled quantum dots is strongly polarized along the coupled direction[110],and its polarization anisotropy can be shaped by changing the orientation of the polarized *** the nonresonant excitation is linearly polarized perpendicular to the coupled direction[110],excitons(X_(1) and X_(2))and local biexcitons(X_(1)X_(1) and X_(2)X_(2))from the two separate quantum dots(QD_(1) and QD_(2))show emission anisotropy with a small degree of polarization(10%).On the other hand,when the excitation polarization is parallel to the coupled direction [110],the polarization anisotropy of excitons,local biexcitons,and coupled biexcitons(X_(1)X_(2))is enhanced with a degree of polarization of 74%.We also observed a consistent anisotropy in the time-resolved *** decay rate of the polarized photoluminescence intensity along the coupled direction is relatively high,but the anisotropic decay rate can be modified by changing the orientation of the polarized *** energy difference is also observed between the polarized emission spectra parallel and perpendicular to the coupled direction,and it increases by up to three times by changing the excitation polarization orientation from [110] to [110].These results suggest that the dipole-dipole interaction across the two separate quantum dots is mediated and that the anisotropic wavefunctions of the excitons and biexcitons are shaped by the excitation polarization.

The effect of heat treatment on the electrochemical and mechanical properties of SS400 steel was investigated, and the effects of annealing conditions on notched specimens subjected to the slow strain rate test (SSRT) were studied. The results show that no correlations are observed among the maximum tensile strength, yield strength, and stress corrosion cracking. In contrast, the elongation and time-to-fracture are improved with stress-relieving annealing compared with the as-received condition. The elongation, time-to-fracture, and number of dimples increase with annealing heat treatment.

We re port the facile synthesis of Ni,Co-double hydroxide wire(NCHW)-based electrodes directly grown on a conductive substrate via a hydrothermal *** NCHW nanostructures were grown on Ni foam,and the growth was controlled using different compositions of solvents(ethanol and water).With increasing volume ratio of ethanol to water,the density of the wires decreased,and the spatial voids between the wires *** formation of large empty spaces improved the electrochemical performance because the exposure of a large surface area of the structure to the electrolyte resulted in a large number of active sites and facile electrolyte penetration into the *** different NCHW structures were ascribed to the pivotal role of the solvent in the urea hydrolysis;the solvent triggered the formation of hydroxides during the hydrothermal *** electrochemical performance of the NCHW electrodes was investigated via galvanostatic charge/discha rge tests,cyclic voltammetry,and electrochemical impedance *** highest specific capacitance was 1694.7 m F/cm^2 at 2 mA/cm^2,with excellent capacitance retention of 81.5% after 5000 *** superior electrochemical performance of the NCHW electrodes is attributed to the large number of active sites and facile electrolyte diffusion into the structure,due to the well-organized structure with an optimized density of nanowires and large voids between the wires.

The perovskite Cr-doped La0.6Sr0.4CrxFe1-xO3-δ （x=0.10, 0.20） oxides were synthesized via the citrate gel method. The perovskite forming of the Lao.6Sr0.4CrxFel-xO3-δ （x=0.10, 0.20） oxides were studied by ther- mogravimetric analysis （TG）, differential scanning calorimetry （DSC）, and X-ray diffraction （XRD）. Structural and chemical stability under H2-containing helium atmospheres of Lao.6Sro.4CrxFel-xO3-δ （x=0.10, 0.20） were investigated by TG and XRD. The sintering microstructures of the perovskite Lao.6Sr0.4Cr2Fel-xO3-δ （x--0.10, 0.20） ceramics were investigated by scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, and the electrical conduc- tivities of both oxide ceramics were also measured up to 900℃. The results demonstrated that the chemical stability of the Co-free ***.4CrxFe1-xO3-δ （x=0.10, 0.20） oxides was significantly improved compared to the Co-containing Lao.6Sr0.4C00.2Fe0.8O3-δ and Ba0.5Sr0.5Co0.8Fe0.2O3-δ oxides. The incorporation of Cr cations in the B-site of the pervoskite oxides resulted in the improved structural and chemical stability of the as-synthesized Lao.6Sr0.4CrxFe1-xO3-δ （x=0.10, 0.20） oxides.

Organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are attracting tremendous attention for new-generation photovoltaic devices because of their excellent power conversion efficiency and simple fabrication process. One of the various approaches to increase the efficiency of PSCs is to change the material or structure of the carrier transport layer. Here, optically long and electrically short structural concept is proposed to enhance the characteristics of a PSC by employing selectively grown single crystalline TiO2 nanorods. The approach has the merit of increasing the electro n-hole separati on effectively and en ables a thicker active layer to be coated without electrical loss by using TiO2 nano rods as an electr on pathway. Moreover, selectively grow n TiO2 nano rods in crease the optical path of the in cide nt light via scatteri ng effects and en able a smooth coati ng of the active layer. Nano imprint lithography and hydrothermal growth were employed to fabricate selectively grow n TiO2 nanorod substrates. The fabricated solar cell exhibits an efficiency of 19.86% with a current density, open-circuit voltage, and fill factor of 23.13 mA/cm^2, 1.120 V, and 76.69%, respectively. Time-resolved photoluminescence, ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy, and the incident phot on to current efficiency (IPCE) an alysis were conducted to understand the factors resp on sible for the improvement in characteristics of the fabricated PSCs.

The application of Li metal anodes in rechargeable batteries is impeded by safety issues arising from the severe volume changes and formation of dendritic Li ***‐dimensional hollow carbon is receiving increasing attention as a host material capable of accommodating Li metal inside its cavity;however,uncontrollable and nonuniform deposition of Li remains a *** this study,we synthesize metal–organic framework‐derived carbon microcapsules with heteroatom clusters(Zn and Ag)on the capsule walls and it is demonstrated that Ag‐assisted nucleation of Li metal alters the outward‐to‐inward growth in the microcapsule ***‐incorporated microcapsules are prepared via chemical etching of zeolitic imidazole framework‐8 polyhedra and are subsequently decorated with Ag by a galvanic displacement reaction between Ag^(+) and metallic *** introduced Ag significantly reduces the energy barrier and increases the reaction rate for Li nucleation in the microcapsule host upon Li *** combined electrochemical,microstructural,and computational studies,we verify the beneficial role of Ag‐assisted Li nucleation in facilitating inward growth inside the cavity of the microcapsule host and,in turn,enhancing electrochemical *** study provides new insights into the design of reversible host materials for practical Li metal batteries.
