Ferrite features in the simulated transition zone welded with CaF_(2)-SiO_(2)-MnO fluxes containing various MnO contents have been *** laser scanning microscopy has been applied to simulate the thermal cycling of the transition zone and the phase transformations during cooling have been in-situ *** has been found that the appearance temperature for ferrite side plate decreases with increasing Mn content in the weld metals caused by MnO content ***,growth rates for both ferrite side plate and acicular ferrite are significantly enhanced with a higher Mn content of weld ***,from the statistical fractions of salient microstructures,for all samples,the acicular ferrite,grain boundary ferrite,and polygonal ferrite take over more than 90%.It has also been demonstrated that with the increase in Mn content,the ferrite side plate fraction increases slightly from 5%to 10%and the acicular ferrite fraction shows a tendency of first increasing and then decreasing,which experiences the maximum with the flux containing 30 wt.%*** phenomenon is believed to be controlled by the O and Mn contents in weld metals synergistically.

Roots are fundamental for plants to adapt to variable environmental *** development of a robust root system is orchestrated by numerous genetic determinants and,among them,the MADS-box gene ANR1 has garnered substantial *** research has demonstrated that,in chrysanthemum,CmANR1positively regulates root system ***,the upstream regulators involved in the CmANR1-mediated regulation of root development remain *** this study,we successfully identified bric-a-brac,tramtrack and broad(BTB)and transcription adapter putative zinc finger(taZ)domain protein CmBT1 as the interacting partner of CmANR1 through a yeasttwo-hybrid(Y2H)screening ***,we validated this physical interaction through bimolecular fluorescence complementation and pull-down *** assays revealed that CmBT1 exerted a negative influence on root development in *** both in vitro and in vivo assays,it was evident that CmBT1mediated the ubiquitination of CmANR1 through the ubiquitin/26S proteasome *** ubiquitination subsequently led to the degradation of the CmANR1 protein and a reduction in the transcription of CmANR1-targeted gene CmPIN2,which was crucial for root development in *** analysis suggested that CmBT1 modulated root development,at least in part,by regulating the level of CmANR1 ***,these findings shed new light on the regulatory role of CmBT1 in degrading CmANR1 through ubiquitination,thereby repressing the expression of its targeted gene and inhibiting root development in chrysanthemum.

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to significantly impact people's lives worldwide, emphasizing the critical need for effective detection methods. Many existing deep learning-based approaches for COVID-19 detection offer high accuracy but demand substantial computing resources, time, and energy. In this study, we introduce an optical diffractive neural network(ODNN-COVID), which is characterized by low power consumption, efficient parallelization, and fast computing speed for COVID-19 detection. In addition, we explore how the physical parameters of ODNN-COVID affect its diagnostic performance. We identify the F number as a key parameter for evaluating the overall detection capabilities. Through an assessment of the connectivity of the diffractive network, we established an optimized range of F number, offering guidance for constructing optical diffractive neural networks. In the numerical simulations, a three-layer system achieves an impressive overall accuracy of 92.64% and 88.89% in binary-and threeclassification diagnostic tasks. For a single-layer system, the simulation accuracy of 84.17% and the experimental accuracy of 80.83% can be obtained with the same configuration for the binary-classification task, and the simulation accuracy is 80.19% and the experimental accuracy is 74.44% for the three-classification task. Both simulations and experiments validate that the proposed optical diffractive neural network serves as a passive optical processor for effective COVID-19 diagnosis, featuring low power consumption, high parallelization, and fast computing capabilities. Furthermore, ODNN-COVID exhibits versatility, making it adaptable to various image analysis and object classification tasks related to medical fields owing to its general architecture.

Venom snake-derived peptides have multiple biochemical,pharmacological,and toxicological proﬁles,allowing for the discovery of new medicinal products and therapeutic *** review speciﬁcally examines the fundamental elements of neuroprotection offered by different oligopeptides derived from snake *** also includes a brief evaluation of short peptides that are being considered as potential therapeutic ***-rich peptides and tryptophyllin family peptides isolated from the crude venom of Viperidae family snakes,speciﬁcally Bothrops atrox,Bothrops jararaca,and Bothrops moojeni,have been shown to have pro-survival properties,the ability to reduce oxidative stress,and the ability to promote cell viability and mitochondrial *** signiﬁcant mechanisms are related to the neuroprotection mediated by snake venom oligopeptides:(1)Activation of the L-arginine metabolite pathway,such as polyamines from ornithine metabolism,which reduces N-methyl-D-aspartate(NMda)-type glutamate receptor activity;(2)Enhancement of cell viability by activating the nerve growth factor-signaling pathway;and(3)Activation of the Muscarinic acetylcholine receptor subtype M1(mAChR-M1).These small peptides show promise as neuroprotective agents against a variety of neurodegenerative disorders.

The use of electrochemical-metallization-based volatile threshold switching selectors in cross-point arrays has been widely explored owing to their high on-off ratios and simple ***,these devices are unsuitable for cross-point architectures because of the difficulty in controlling the random filament formation that results in large fluctuations in the threshold voltage during *** this study,we investigated the unidirectional threshold transition characteristics associated with an Ag/GST/HfO_(x)/Pt-based bilayer selector and demonstrated the occurrence of a low leakage current(tage(Δ0.11 V).The bilayer structure could control the filament formation in the intermediate state through the insertion of an HfO_(x) tunneling *** stacking a bilayer selector with NiO_(x)based resistive random-access memory,the leakage and programming currents of the device could be significantly *** the crossbar array configuration,we performed equivalent circuit analysis of a one-selector oneresistor(1S1R) devices and estimated the optimal array size to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed *** maximum acceptable crossbar array size of the 1S1R device with the Ag/GST/HfO_(x)/Pt/Ti/NiO_(x)/Pt structure was 5.29×10^(14)(N^(2),N=2.3×10^(7)).

Underwater monopulse space-time adaptive track-before-detect method,which combines space-time adaptive detector(StaD)and the track-before-detect algorithm based on dynamic programming(DP-TBD),denoted as StaD-DP-TBD,can effectively detect low-speed weak ***,due to the complexity and variability of the underwater environment,it is difficult to obtain sufficient secondary data,resulting in a serious decline in the detection and tracking performance,and leading to poor robustness of the *** this paper,based on the adaptive matched filter(AMF)test and the RAO test,underwater monopulse AMF-DP-TBD algorithm and RAO-DP-TBD algorithm which incorporate persymmetry and symmetric spectrum,denoted as PSAMF-DP-TBD and PS-RAO-DP-TBD,are proposed and compared with the AMF-DP-TBD algorithm and RAO-DP-TBD algorithm based on persymmetry array,denoted as P-AMF-DP-TBD and *** simulation results show that the four methods can work normally with sufficient secondary data and slightly insufficient secondary data,but when the secondary data is severely insufficient,the P-AMF-DP-TBD and P-RAO-DP-TBD algorithms has failed while the PSAMF-DP-TBD and PS-RAO-DP-TBD algorithms still have good detection and tracking capabilities.

To address data scarcity on long-term glacial discharge and inadequacies in simulating and predicting hydrological processes in the Tien Shan,this study analysed the observed discharge at multiple timescales over 1980se2017 and projected changes within a representative glacierized high-mountain region:eastern Tien Shan,Central *** processes were simulated to predict changes under four future scenarios(SSP1,SSP2,SSP3,and SSP5)using a classical hydrological model coupled with a glacier dynamics *** rates at annual,monthly(June,July,August)and daily timescales were obtained from two hydrological gauges:Urumqi Glacier No.1 hydrological station(UGH)and Zongkong station(ZK).Overall,annual and summer discharge increased significantly(ptations over the study *** intra-annual variations mainly resulted from differences in their recharge *** simulations show that a tipping point in annual discharge at UGH may occur between 2018 and 2024 under the four SSPs *** discharge is predicted to cease earlier at ZK than at *** relates to glacier type and size,suggesting basins with heavily developed small glaciers will reach peak discharge sooner,resulting in an earlier freshwater supply *** findings serve as a reference for research into glacial runoff in Central Asia and provide a decision-making basis for planning local water-resource projects.

The presence of horizontal layered rocks in tunnel engineering significantly impacts the stability and strength of the surrounding rock mass,leading to floor heave in the *** study focused on preparing layered specimens of rock-like material with varying thickness to investigate the failure behaviors of tunnel *** results indicate that thin-layered rock mass exhibits weak interlayer bonding,causing rock layers near the surface to buckle and break upwards when subjected to horizontal *** an increase in the layer thickness,a transition in failure mode occurs from upward buckling to shear failure along the plane,leading to a noticeable reduction in floor heave *** primary cause of significant deformation in floor heave is upward buckling *** address this issue,the study proposes the installation of a partition wall in the middle of the floor to mitigate heave deformation of the rock *** results demonstrate that the partition wall has a considerable stabilizing effect on the floor,reducing the zone of buckling failure and minimizing floor heave *** is crucial for the partition wall to be sufficiently high to prevent buckling failure and ensure *** simulation calculations on an engineering example,it is confirmed that implementing a partition wall can effectively reduce floor heave and enhance the stability of tunnel floor.
