Predictive value of preoperative routine examination for the prognosis of patients with pT2N0M0 or pT3N0M0 colorectal cancer

baCKGROUND In recent years,the incidence of colorectal cancer(CRC)has been *** the popularization of endoscopic technology,a number of early CRC has been ***,despite current treatment methods,some patients with early CRC still experience postoperative recurrence and *** To search for indicators associated with early CRC recurrence and metastasis to identify high-risk *** A total of 513 patients with pT2N0M0 or pT3N0M0 CRC were retrospectively enrolled in this *** of blood routine test,liver and kidney function tests and tumor markers were collected before *** were followed up through disease-specific database and telephone *** recurrence,metastasis or death were used as the end point of study to find the risk factors and predictive value related to early CRC recurrence and *** We comprehensively compared the predictive value of preoperative blood routine,blood biochemistry and tumor markers for disease-free survival(DFS)and overall survival(OS)of *** multivariate analysis demonstrated that low platelet count was significantly associated with poor DFS[hazard ratio(HR)=0.995,95% confidence interval(CI):0.991-0.999,P=0.015],while serum carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)level(HR=1.008,95%CI:1.001-1.016,P=0.027)and serum total cholesterol level(HR=1.538,95%CI:1.026-2.305,P=0.037)were independent risk factors for *** cutoff value of serum CEA level for predicting OS was 2.74 ng/*** the OS of CRC patients with serum CEA higher than the cutoff value was worse than those with lower CEA level,the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P=0.075).CONCLUSION For patients with T2N0M0 or T3N0M0 CRC,preoperative platelet count was a protective factor for DFS,while serum CEA level was an independent risk factor for *** that these measures are easier to detect and more acceptable to patients,they may have broader applications.

AIM:To investigate the association between central serous chorioretinopathy(CSC)and Helicobacter pylori(Hp)by summarizing all available ***:The Scopus,Embase,EBSCO,PubMed,Web of Science,and Cochrane Library databases for all relevant studies published from inception to October 2022 were searched,and manually searched for relevant reference lists as a *** investigating the association between CSC and Hp infection were ***,8 case-control studies were included in the Meta-analysis after study ***:The results showed no significant correlation between Hp infection and CSC[odds ratio(OR)1.89,95%confidential interval(CI)0.58–6.15,I2=96%,P=0.29].After subgroup analysis based on the degree of development of the study(developing/developed countries),it was found that the results of the two subgroups were the same as the whole,and no significant difference between the two subgroups ***-regression showed that the effect of sample size on heterogeneity among studies was more prominent(P<0.01,adjusted R^(2)=89.72%),which can explain 89.72%of the sources of ***:This Meta-analysis reveals no significant correlation between Hp infection and CSC,which still warrants further well-designed extensive sample studies to reach a more reliable conclusion and promote a better understanding of the treatment of CSC.

Image semantic segmentation is an essential technique for studying human behavior through image *** paper proposes an image semantic segmentation method for human behavior ***,an end-to-end convolutional neural network architecture is proposed,which consists of a depth-separable jump-connected fully convolutional network and a conditional random field network;then jump-connected convolution is used to classify each pixel in the image,and an image semantic segmentation method based on convolu-tional neural network is proposed;and then a conditional random field network is used to improve the effect of image segmentation of hu-man behavior and a linear modeling and nonlinear modeling method based on the semantic segmentation of conditional random field im-age is ***,using the proposed image segmentation network,the input entrepreneurial image data is semantically segmented to obtain the contour features of the person;and the segmentation of the images in the medical *** experimental results show that the image semantic segmentation method is *** is a new way to use image data to study human behavior and can be extended to other research areas.

The presence of horizontal layered rocks in tunnel engineering significantly impacts the stability and strength of the surrounding rock mass,leading to floor heave in the *** study focused on preparing layered specimens of rock-like material with varying thickness to investigate the failure behaviors of tunnel *** results indicate that thin-layered rock mass exhibits weak interlayer bonding,causing rock layers near the surface to buckle and break upwards when subjected to horizontal *** an increase in the layer thickness,a transition in failure mode occurs from upward buckling to shear failure along the plane,leading to a noticeable reduction in floor heave *** primary cause of significant deformation in floor heave is upward buckling *** address this issue,the study proposes the installation of a partition wall in the middle of the floor to mitigate heave deformation of the rock *** results demonstrate that the partition wall has a considerable stabilizing effect on the floor,reducing the zone of buckling failure and minimizing floor heave *** is crucial for the partition wall to be sufficiently high to prevent buckling failure and ensure *** simulation calculations on an engineering example,it is confirmed that implementing a partition wall can effectively reduce floor heave and enhance the stability of tunnel floor.

For the evaluation of cavitation erosion resistance of metallic materials,it has always been a time-consuming technical *** paper innovatively proposed a parameter named cavitation hardening rate to characterize the plastic deformation and work hardening behavior of metallic materials during the cavitation process and then found a positive correlation between cavitation hardening rate and strain hardening ***,the relationship between cavitation volume loss and strain hardening index was obtained,and a simple and rapid evaluation method for cavitation erosion resistance was established.

A transient 3D model was established to investigate the effect of spatial interaction of ultrasounds on the dual-frequency ultrasonic field in magnesium alloy *** effects of insertion depth and tip shape of the ultrasonic rods,input pressures and their ratio on the acoustic field distribution were discussed in ***,the spacing,angle,and insertion depth of two ultrasonic rods significantly affect the interaction between distinct *** a result,various acoustic pressure distributions and cavitation regions are *** spherical rods mitigate the longitudinal and transversal attenuation of acoustic pressure and expand the cavitation volume by 53.7%and 31.7%,respectively,compared to the plate and conical *** the input pressure will enlarge the cavitation region but has no effect on the acoustic pressure distribution *** acoustic pressure ratio significantly affects the pressure distribution and the cavitation region,and the best cavitation effect is obtained at the ratio of 2:1(P15:P20).

Dielectric resonator magnetoelectric dipole(DRMED)arrays with enhanced isolation,reduced cross-polarization,and backward radiation are proposed for base station(BS)*** proposed antenna comprises an elevated dielectric resonator antenna(DRA)on a small metal plate above a sizeable common ground *** DRA is designed in its T Eδ11 mode,acting like a magnetic *** surface current excited by the differential probes flowing on the small ground plane is equivalent to an electric *** these two equivalent dipoles are orthogonal,they have the magnetoelectric dipole characteristics with reduced backward ***,the small ground planes can be treated as decoupling structures to provide a neutralization path to cancel the original coupling path.A linearly-polarized 4-element prototype array was verified experimentally in previous ***,a dual-polarized DRMED antenna is presented to construct a 2-element and 4×4 array for BS *** investigate its MIMO performance,sophisticated multi-cell scenario simulations are carried *** using the proposed dualpolarized DRMED array,the cellular system capacityis improved by 118.6%compared to a conventional DRA *** significant MIMO system improvement is mainly due to the reduced backward radiation and,therefore,reduced inter-cell *** align well with the simulations.
