A dual-frequency(DF)dielectric barrier discharge,excited by the superposition of a 50 Hz low frequency(LF)and a 5000 Hz intermediate frequency(IF),is proposed to enhance *** effect of the LF voltage component on the breakdown behaviour of the DF discharge during different periods has been studied both experimentally and *** number of high-current pulses rises as the LF voltage *** statistical analysis shows that the number of the current pulse amplitude above 80 mA in the DF discharge reaches nearly 6 times that in the IF ***,the total discharge energy in the DF discharge is significantly higher than that in the IF *** simulation re-produces the temporal variation of the breakdown behaviours in the DF *** simulated results reveal that the maximal electric field strength of the breakdown process is greater in the DF discharge compared to the IF discharge during a half-period of ***,the comparison between the IF and DF discharges exhibits that the LF voltage regulates the accumulation of residual charged species on the dielectric surface after the breakdown by modulating the residual voltage between the air gap.

Ice pigging is an emerging technique for pipe cleaning in drinking water distribution ***,substantial confusion and controversy exist on the potential impacts of ice pigging on bulk water *** study monitored the microstructural features and composition of sediments and microbial community structures in bulk water in eight multimaterial Chinese *** concentration analysis demonstrated that separate cleaning of pipes with different materials in complex networks could mitigate the risk of losing ice pigs and degrading water *** microstructural and trace element characterization results showed that ice pigs would scarcely disturb the inner surfaces of long-used *** bacterial richness and diversity of bulk water decreased significantly after ice ***,correlations were established between pipe service age,temperature,and chloride and total iron concentrations,and the 15 most abundant taxa in bulk water,which could be used to guide practical ice pigging operations.

Biodegradable magnesium(Mg)and its alloys exhibit excellent biocompatibility and mechanical compatibility,demonstrating tremendous potential for applications in ***,the rapid degradation rate has limited their clinical ***(PCL)is commonly employed as a polymer coating to impede the rapid degradation of ***,its long-term anti-corrosion capability and bioactivity are *** address these issues,polydopamine(Pda)-modified zeolitic imidazolate framework-8(PZIF-8)bioactive nanoparticles are fabricated and incorporated into the PCL *** PZIF-8 particles,featuring catechol motifs,can enhance the compactness of the PCL coating,reduce its defects,and possess biomineralization ability,thereby effectively improving its anti-corrosive and bioactive ***,the active substances released from the degradation of the PZIF-8 particles such as Zn^(2+)and Pda are beneficial for *** corrosion tests indicate that the corrosion current density of PCL-treated sample decreases by more than one order of magnitude and the amount of H_(2)released decreases from 0.23±0.12 to 0.08±0.08 ml cm^(-2)after doping with the ***,the improved corrosion resistance and released Pda and Zn^(2+)from the coating can promote osteogenic differentiation by up-regulating the expression of alkaline phosphatase activity,related osteogenic genes,and *** addition,in vivo implantation experiments in rabbit femur defects further offer strong evidence that the doping of PZIF-8 nanoparticles accelerates bone reconstruction of the PCL *** summary,this work implies a new strategy to fabricate a PCL-based coating on Mg-based implants by introducing the PZIF-8 particles for orthopedic applications.

SnO_(2) has been extensively investigated as an anode material for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)and potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)due to its high Na/K storage capacity,high abundance,and low ***,the sluggish reaction kinetics,low electronic conductivity,and large volume changes during charge and discharge hinder the practical applications of SnO_(2)-based electrodes for SIBs and *** rational structures with fast charge/ion transfer and robust stability is important to overcoming these ***,S-doped SnO_(2)(S-SnO_(2))quantum dots(QDs)(≈3 nm)encapsulated in an N,S codoped carbon fiber networks(S-SnO_(2)-CFN)are rationally fabricated using a sequential freeze-drying,calcination,and S-doping *** analysis and density functional theory calculations reveal that the integration of S-SnO_(2) QDs with N,S codoped carbon fiber network remarkably decreases the adsorption energies of Na/K atoms in the interlayer of SnO_(2)-CFN,and the S doping can increase the conductivity of SnO_(2),thereby enhancing the ion transfer *** synergistic interaction between S-SnO_(2) QDs and N,S codoped carbon fiber network results in a composite with fast Na+/K+storage and extraordinary long-term ***,the S-SnO_(2)-CFN delivers high rate capacities of 141.0 mAh g^(−1) at 20 A g^(−1) in SIBs and 102.8 mAh g^(−1) at 10 A g^(−1) in ***,it delivers ultra-stable sodium storage up to 10,000 cycles at 5 A g^(−1) and potassium storage up to 5000 cycles at 2 A g^(−1).This study provides insights into constructing metal oxide-based carbon fiber network structures for high-performance electrochemical energy storage and conversion devices.

In this work,we propose porous fluororubber/thermoplastic urethane nanocomposites(PFTNs)and explore their intrinsic piezoresistive sensitivity to *** experiments reveal that the intrinsic sensitivity of the PFTN-based sensor to pressure up to 10 kPa increases up to 900%compared to the porous thermoplastic urethane nanocomposite(PTN)counterpart and up to 275%compared to the porous fluororubber nanocomposite(PFN)*** pressures exceeding 10 kPa,the resistance-pressure relationship of PFTN follows a logarithmic function,and the sensitivity is 221%and 125%higher than that of PTN and PFN,*** the excellent intrinsic sensitivity of the thick PFTN film,a single sensing unit with integrated electrode design can imitate human skin for touch detection,pressure perception and traction *** sensing range of our multimodal tactile sensor reaches~150 Pa,and it exhibits a linear fit over 97%for both normal pressure and shear *** also demonstrate that an electronic skin,made of an array of sensing units,is capable of accurately recognizing complex tactile interactions including pinch,spread,and tweak motions.

This paper addresses the common orthopedic trauma of spinal vertebral fractures and aims to enhance doctors’diagnostic ***,a deep-learning-based automated diagnostic systemwithmulti-label segmentation is proposed to recognize the condition of vertebral *** whole spine Computed Tomography(CT)image is segmented into the fracture,normal,and background using U-Net,and the fracture degree of each vertebra is evaluated(Genant semi-qualitative evaluation).The main work of this paper includes:First,based on the spatial configuration network(SCN)structure,U-Net is used instead of the SCN feature extraction *** attention mechanismandthe residual connectionbetweenthe convolutional layers are added in the local network(LN)*** filtering is added in the global network(GN)stage,and each layer of the LN decoder feature map is filtered separately using dot product,and the filtered features are re-convolved to obtain the GN output ***,a network model with improved SCN(M-SCN)helps automatically localize the center-of-mass position of each vertebra,and the voxels around each localized vertebra were clipped,eliminating a large amount of redundant information(e.g.,background and other interfering vertebrae)and keeping the vertebrae to be segmented in the center of the *** segmentation of the clipped portion was subsequently performed using *** paper uses VerSe’19,VerSe’20(using only data containing vertebral fractures),and private data(provided by Guizhou Orthopedic Hospital)for model training and *** with the original SCN network,the M-SCN reduced the prediction error rate by 1.09%and demonstrated the effectiveness of the improvement in ablation *** the vertebral segmentation experiment,the Dice Similarity Coefficient(DSC)index reached 93.50%and the Maximum Symmetry Surface Distance(MSSD)index was 4.962 mm,with accuracy and recall of 95.82%and 91.73%,*** vertebrae w

The denoising of microseismic signals is a prerequisite for subsequent analysis and *** this research,a new microseismic signal denoising algorithm called the Black Widow Optimization Algorithm(BWOA)optimized VariationalMode Decomposition(VMD)jointWavelet Threshold Denoising(WTD)algorithm(BVW)is *** BVW algorithm integrates VMD and WTD,both of which are optimized by ***,this algorithm utilizes VMD to decompose the microseismic signal to be denoised into several Band-Limited IntrinsicMode Functions(BLIMFs).Subsequently,these BLIMFs whose correlation coefficients with the microseismic signal to be denoised are higher than a threshold are selected as the effective mode functions,and the effective mode functions are denoised using WTD to filter out the residual low-and intermediate-frequency ***,the denoised microseismic signal is obtained through *** ideal values of VMD parameters and WTD parameters are acquired by searching with BWOA to achieve the best VMD decomposition performance and solve the problem of relying on experience and requiring a large workload in the application of the WTD *** outcomes of simulated experiments indicate that this algorithm is capable of achieving good denoising performance under noise of different intensities,and the denoising performance is significantly better than the commonly used VMD and Empirical Mode Decomposition(EMD)*** BVW algorithm is more efficient in filtering noise,the waveform after denoising is smoother,the amplitude of the waveform is the closest to the original signal,and the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and the root mean square error after denoising are more *** case based on Fankou Lead-Zinc Mine shows that for microseismic signals with different intensities of noise monitored on-site,compared with VMD and EMD,the BVW algorithm ismore efficient in filtering noise,and the SNR after denoising is higher.

The gas-water two-phaseﬂow occurring as a result of fracturingﬂuidﬂowback phenomena is known to impact signiﬁcantly the productivity of shale gas *** this work,this two-phaseﬂow has been simulated in the framework of a hybrid approach partially relying on the embedded discrete fracture model(EDFM).This model assumes the region outside the stimulated reservoir volume(SRV)as a single-medium while the SRV region itself is described using a double-medium strategy which can account for theﬂuid exchange between the matrix and the *** shale gas adsorption,desorption,diffusion,gas slippage effect,fracture stress sensitivity,and capillary imbibition have been *** shale gas production,pore pressure distribution and water saturation distribution in the reservoir have been *** inﬂuences of hydraulic fracture geometry and nonorthogonal hydraulic fractures on gas production have been determined and discussed *** simulation results show that the daily gas production has an upward and downward trend due to the presence of a large amount of fracturingﬂuid in the reservoir around the hydraulic *** smaller the angle between the hydraulic fracture and the wellbore,the faster the daily production of shale gas wells decreases,and the lower the cumulative *** fractures can increase the control volume of hydraulic fractures and improve the production of shale gas wells.
