Regulating surface base of LiCoO_(2) to inhibit side reactions between LiCoO_(2) and sulfide electrolyte

The interface instability between layered oxide cathode and sulfide electrolyte is a key point affecting the perform ance of sulfide-based all-solid-state lithium batteries.Coating with fast-ionic conductor and constructing core-shell structure can effectively alleviate the interfacial side reactions and improve the interfacial stability between layered oxide and sulfide electrolyte.However,what have been neglected is the surface base(including Li_(2)CO_(3) and LiOH)of layered oxide can also affect the interfacial stability.To clarify this point clearly and improve the interfacial stability,the surface base of LiCoO_(2)(LCO)is regulated and investigated in this work.First,LCO with surface base Li_(2)CO_(3)(LCO@Li_(2)CO_(3))is prepared by the reaction of Co_(3)O_4 and excess Li_(2)CO_(3).Then,the bare LCO is obtained after LCO@Li_(2)CO_(3) is washed with deionized water and calcined again.Besides,LCO with surface base Li_(2)O(LCO@Li_(2)O)is also prepared with the bare LCO and LiOH.As a result,the electrochemical performances of LCO@Li_(2)O are significantly improved and much higher than those of LCO@Li_(2)CO_(3) and the bare LCO electrodes.In particular,LCO@Li_(2)O-2 cathode display the most outstanding electrochemical performances(discharge capacity138.4 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.2C,105 mAh·g^(-1)at 2C and a capacity retention of 95.4%after 150 cycles at 0.5C).The high discharge capacity and excellent cycle stability of LCO@Li_(2)O electrode confirm the effectiveness of regulating the surface base of layered oxide from Li_(2)CO_(3) to Li_(2)O.The surface base regulating is expected to be a simple but effective strategy to construct the stable interface between the cathode and the sulfide electrolyte of the all-solid-state lithium batteries.

Electrochemical performance of LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(0.5)O_2 with different synthesis methods

Li Ni0.5Mn0.5O2 as a cathode material for Li-ion battery was prepared by the metal acetate decomposition method, sol–gel method, and carbonate co-precipitation method, respectively. The influences of synthesis methods on the physical and electrochemical behaviors of Li Ni0.5Mn0.5O2 were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and electrochemical tests. XRD patterns show that both the sol–gel and carbonate co-precipitation methods can form single phase of layered structure, while a trace of Ni O impurity is observed via the metal acetate decomposition method. SEM results show the as-prepared carbonate particle has a spherical morphology with an average diameter of 10 lm, consisted of primary nano-sized particles with particle diameter of200 nm. The sample prepared by the carbonate co-precipitation method exhibits the highest discharge specific capacity and the best cycling stability, which results from the steady homogeneity of precursor constant by the fixation of CO2-3group. It can deliver an initial discharge specific capacity of 186.3 m Ahág-1, and retain 170 m Ahág-1after100 cycles at a current rate of 20 m Aág-1in the voltage range of 2.5–4.7 V at 25 °C. Moreover, even at the high temperature of 55 °C, it still delivers a reversible specific capacity of 222.6 m Ahág-1with little capacity loss after 30 cycles.

Spring viremia of carp virus(SVCV)causes devastating losses in aquaculture.Coumarin has an advantageous structure for the design of novel antiviral agents with high affinity and specificity.In this study,we evaluated a hydroxycoumarin medicine,i.e.,7-(6-benzimidazole)coumarin(C10),regarding its anti-SVCV effects in vitro and in vivo.Results showed that up to 12.5 mg/L C10 significantly inhibited SVCV replication in the epithelioma papulosum cyprini(EPC)cell line,with a maximum inhibitory rate of>97%.Furthermore,C10 significantly reduced cell death and relieved cellular morphological damage in SVCV-infected cells.Decreased mitochondrial membrane potential(ΔΨm)also suggested that C10 not only protected mitochondria,but also reduced apoptosis in SVCVinfected cells.For in vivo studies,intraperitoneal injection of C10 resulted in an anti-SVCV effect and substantially enhanced the survival rate of virusinfected zebrafish.Furthermore,C10 significantly enhanced antioxidant enzyme activities and decreased reactive oxygen species(ROS)to maintain antioxidant-oxidant balance within the host,thereby contributing to inhibition of SVCV replication.The up-regulation of six interferon(IFN)-related genes also demonstrated that C10 indirectly activated IFNs for the clearance of SVCV in zebrafish.This was beneficial for the continuous maintenance of antiviral effects because of the low viral loads in fish.Thus,C10 is suggested as a therapeutic agent with great potential against SVCV infection in aquaculture.

Liquid lens based holographic camera for real 3D scene hologram acquisition using end-to-end physical model-driven network

With the development of artificial intelligence,neural network provides unique opportunities for holography,such as high fidelity and dynamic calculation.How to obtain real 3D scene and generate high fidelity hologram in real time is an urgent problem.Here,we propose a liquid lens based holographic camera for real 3D scene hologram acquisition using an end-to-end physical model-driven network(EEPMD-Net).As the core component of the liquid camera,the first 10 mm large aperture electrowetting-based liquid lens is proposed by using specially fabricated solution.The design of the liquid camera ensures that the multi-layers of the real 3D scene can be obtained quickly and with great imaging performance.The EEPMD-Net takes the information of real 3D scene as the input,and uses two new structures of encoder and decoder networks to realize low-noise phase generation.By comparing the intensity information between the reconstructed image after depth fusion and the target scene,the composite loss function is constructed for phase optimization,and the high-fidelity training of hologram with true depth of the 3D scene is realized for the first time.The holographic camera achieves the high-fidelity and fast generation of the hologram of the real 3D scene,and the reconstructed experiment proves that the holographic image has the advantage of low noise.The proposed holographic camera is unique and can be used in 3D display,measurement,encryption and other fields.

Tinea of Vellus Hair Caused by Trichophyton violaceum in a Child: A Case Report

Introduction: Tinea of vellus hair is a rare dermatophytosis, caused by dermatophyte infection in the vellus hair. The clinical symptoms of tinea of vellus hair are more serious and the conventional topical treatment are often ineffective.Case presentation: A 7-year-old boy presented with a localized, scaly, and itchy erythema on his left cheek for two months. He once used a topical corticosteroid but without any clinical improvement, the erythema was progressively enlarging and spread to the left eyebrow. He denied any contact with animals. Direct microscopy found abundant spores and hyphae on the vellus hair;T. violaceum was identified by culture and PCR examination. The patient was diagnosed with tinea of vellus hair and cured after treating with oral terbinafine 125 mg/day and topical treatment for two weeks. There was no recurrence during the follow-up period.Discussion: The clinical symptoms of tinea of vellus hair are often atypical and easy to be misdiagnosed. Timely fungal examination is necessary for suspicious patients and confirmed patients should be treated with oral antifungal drugs.Conclusion: The diagnosis and treatment of tinea of vellus hair need to be paid more attention in clinical works.

Immune cells in the B-cell lymphoma microenvironment: From basic research to clinical applications

B-cell lymphoma is a group of hematological malignancies characterized by variable genetic and biological features and clinical behaviors. The tumor microenvironment (TME) is a complex network in tumors, which consists of surrounding blood vessels, extracellular matrix, immune and non-immune cells, and signaling molecules. Increasing evidence has shown that the TME, especially immune cells within, is a double-edged sword, acting either as a tumor killer or as a promoter of tumor progression. These pro-tumor activities are driven by subpopulations of immune cells that express typical markers but have unique transcriptional characteristics, making tumor-associated immune cells good targets for human anti-cancer therapy by ablating immunosuppressive cells or enhancing immune-activated cells. Thus, exploring the role of immune cells in the TME provides distinct insights for immunotherapy in B-cell lymphoma. In this review, we elucidated the interaction between immune cells and tumor cells and their function in the initiation, progression, and prognosis of B-cell lymphoma, from preclinical experiments to clinical trials. Furthermore, we outlined potential therapeutic approaches and discussed the potential clinical value and future perspectives of targeting immune cells in patients with B-cell lymphoma.

FAM53B promotes pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma metastasis by regulating macrophage M2 polarization

BACKGROUND Our study investigated the role of FAM53B in regulating macrophage M2 polarization and its potential mechanisms in promoting pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PdaC)metastasis.AIM To further investigate the role of FAM53B in regulating macrophage M2 polarization and its potential mechanism in promoting PdaC metastasis.Our goal is to determine how FAM53B affects macrophage M2 polarization and to define its underlying mechanism in PdaC metastasis.METHODS Cell culture and various experiments,including protein analysis,immunohisto-chemistry,and animal model experiments,were conducted.We compared FAM53B expression between PdaC tissues and healthy tissues and assessed the correlation of FAM53B expression with clinical features.Our study analyzed the role of FAM53B in macrophage M2 polarization in vitro by examining the expression of relevant markers.Finally,we used a murine model to study the role of FAM53B in PdaC metastasis and analyzed the potential underlying mechanisms.RESULTS Our research showed that there was a significant increase in FAM53B levels in PdaC tissues,which was linked to adverse tumor features.Experimental findings indicated that FAM53B can enhance macrophage M2 polarization,leading to increased anti-inflammatory factor release.The results from the mouse model further supported the role of FAM53B in PdaC metastasis,as blocking FAM53B prevented tumor cell invasion and metastasis.CONCLUSION FAM53B promotes PdaC metastasis by regulating macrophage M2 polarization.This discovery could lead to the development of new strategies for treating PdaC.For example,interfering with the FAM53B signaling pathway may prevent cancer spread.Our research findings also provide important information for expanding our understanding of PdaC pathogenesis.

In this paper,we present Lax pairs and solutions for a nonsymmetric lattice equation,which is a torqued version of the lattice potential Korteweg-de Vries equation.This nonsymmetric equation is special in the sense that it contains only one spacing parameter but consists of two consistent cubes with other integrable lattice equations.Using such a multidimensionally consistent property we are able to derive its two Lax pairs and also construct solutions using B?cklund transformations.

A self-organization formation configuration based assignment probability and collision detection

The formation control of multiple unmanned aerial vehicles(multi-UAVs)has always been a research hotspot.Based on the straight line trajectory,a multi-UAVs target point assignment algorithm based on the assignment probability is proposed to achieve the shortest overall formation path of multi-UAVs with low complexity and reduce the energy consumption.In order to avoid the collision between UAVs in the formation process,the concept of safety ball is introduced,and the collision detection based on continuous motion of two time slots and the lane occupation detection after motion is proposed to avoid collision between UAVs.Based on the idea of game theory,a method of UAV motion form setting based on the maximization of interests is proposed,including the maximization of self-interest and the maximization of formation interest is proposed,so that multi-UAVs can complete the formation task quickly and reasonably with the linear trajectory assigned in advance.Finally,through simulation verification,the multi-UAVs target assignment algorithm based on the assignment probability proposed in this paper can effectively reduce the total path length,and the UAV motion selection method based on the maximization interests can effectively complete the task formation.

Mobile Crowdsourcing Task Allocation Based on Dynamic Self-Attention GANs

Crowdsourcing technology is widely recognized for its effectiveness in task scheduling and resource allocation.While traditional methods for task allocation can help reduce costs and improve efficiency,they may encounter challenges when dealing with abnormal data flow nodes,leading to decreased allocation accuracy and efficiency.To address these issues,this study proposes a novel two-part invalid detection task allocation framework.In the first step,an anomaly detection model is developed using a dynamic self-attentive GAN to identify anomalous data.Compared to the baseline method,the model achieves an approximately 4%increase in the F1 value on the public dataset.In the second step of the framework,task allocation modeling is performed using a twopart graph matching method.This phase introduces a P-queue KM algorithm that implements a more efficient optimization strategy.The allocation efficiency is improved by approximately 23.83%compared to the baseline method.Empirical results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed framework in detecting abnormal data nodes,enhancing allocation precision,and achieving efficient allocation.
