A novel two‐dimensional network dibenzo‐18‐crown‐6 (DB18‐C6) complex: [Na (DB18‐C‐6) (H 2 O) 2 ] [Na (DB18‐C‐6) (SCN) 2 ] has been isolated and characterized by elemental, IR and X‐ray diffraction analysis. The crystal structure belongs to monoclinic, space group P 2 1 /c with cell dimensions a = 1.06178(7), b = 1.40243(8), c = 3.03496(19) nm, β = 90.4220(10)°, V = 4.5292(5) nm 3 , Z=4, D calcd =1.351 g/ cm 3 , F (000) = 1936, R 1 = 0.0369, wR 2 = 0.0821. The most interesting feature in this structure is that complex cation and complex anion form a two‐dimensional network via τ‐τ stacking interactions, hydrogen bonds and electrostatic interactions.

A new cucurbit[6]uril bridsed binuclear complex {[Gd（H2O）6]2[Q6（H2O）]}C16·4H2O, where Q6 represents cucurbit[6]uril, has been synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction. The crystal structure shows that the complex has an extended cucurbit[6]uril-bridged structure consisting of two gadolinium（Ⅲ） ions, in which each gadolinium（Ⅲ） ion is coordinated with two neighboring carbonylic oxygen atoms of Q6 and six oxygen atoms of water molecules that leans toward one side of the portal. One disordered guest water molecule resides in the Q6 molecule cavity and occupies two different positions. Hydrogen bonds assemble the complcx to threedimensional supramolecular structure.

Effects of lower fluence pulsed dye laser irradiation on production of collagen and the mRNA expression of collagen relative gene in cultured fibroblasts in vitro

Background Lower fluence of 585-nm flashlamp-pumped pulsed dye laser has been successfully used as a nonablative technique in the treatment of wrinkles. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of the pulsed dye laser （585 nm） on the production of collagen and the mRNA expression of collagen related gene in fibroblasts in vitro. Methods Cultured fibroblasts were treated with a 585-nm flashlamp-pumped pulsed dye laser （ fluence 3 J/cm^2, 4 J/cm^2, spot size 7 mm, pulse duration 450 12s）. The production of collagen and the mRNA expression of transforming growth factor （TGF）-β1, SMAD2, SMAD3, SMAD4, SMAD7 and type Ⅰ procollagen α1, α2 in fibroblasts were investigated by colorimetry or real time polymerase chain reaction. Results The production of collagen was significantly up-regulated after treatment with a 585-nm flashlamp-pumped pulsed dye laser with a fluence of 3 J/cm^2 （P 〈0.001）. The mRNA expression of TGF- β1, SMAD2, SMAD3, SMAD4, SMAD7 and procollagen I was significantly up-regulated after treatment with a 585-nm flashlamp-pumped pulsed dye laser with a fluence of 3 J/cm^2 （P 〈0.001）. No significant difference of mRNA expression of SMAD2, SMAD3, SMAD4, SMAD7 and type Ⅰ procollagen was found between controls and fibroblasts treated with pulsed dye laser with a fluence of 4 J/cm^2 （P 〉0.05）. Conclusions Lower fluence （3 J/cm^2） pulsed dye laser increased the collagen production in fibroblasts by up-regulating TGF-β1, SMAD2, SMAD3, SMAD4, SMAD7 and type Ⅰ procollagen mRNA expression. These may be the reason it can be effectively used in the treatment of wrinkles.

In this article,we provide commentary on the recent article by Zhao et *** focus on the shifts in the gut microbiota of patients with hepatitis B virus(HBV)-associated cirrhosis/portal hypertension(PH)following transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt(TIPS)and the implications for understanding the mechanisms,diagnosis,and *** comparing the gut microbiota composition and dynamic changes before and after TIPS in patients with and without hepatic encephalopathy,the authors found an increase in non-probiotic bacteria in those who developed hepatic encephalopathy post-TIPS,with Morganella species present only in the hepatic encephalopathy *** gut microbiota changes post-TIPS among patients without the occurrence of hepatic encephalopathy suggest potential therapeutic benefits through prophylactic microbiome ***,the specific gut microbiota alterations may hold promise to predict the risk of hepatic encephalopathy in individuals undergoing TIPS for HBVrelated *** these promising findings,future studies are needed to address limitations,including a small sample size,a relatively short evaluation period for gut microbiota alterations,the absence of data on dynamic alterations in gut microbiota post-TIPS and their correlation with blood ammonia levels,and the lack of validation in animal *** conclusion,Zhao et al's study has shed new light on the link of gut microbiota with post-TIPS hepatic encephalopathy,potentially through the intricate gut-liver axis,and has important clinical implications for improving the management of patients with HBV-related PH.

Nine coordination compounds have been synthesized from the self-assembly of the copper acetate,3,5-dimethylpyrazole,and carboxylate ligands at room *** compounds were structurally characterized by different techniques including elemental analysis,IR spectra,TG,and single crystal X-ray diffraction *** X-ray studies suggested that these complexes display mononuclear to trinuclear structures with tetrahedral（for compounds 1-8） or distorted square pyramidal（for compound 9） geometry around the copper *** the basis of X-ray crystallographic study the rich intra- and intermolecular noncovalent interactions such as classical hydrogen bonds,CH3-C,Cl···O,C-H···O,CH3···O,C-H···π,CH3-π,and π-π interactions are *** various nonbonding interactions in these compounds are responsible for different structures such as sheet,3D network,to 3D layer structure.

Investigations on the Interactions of Pb(Ⅱ) with Super-paramagnetic Fe3O4 Nanoparticles

A series of ternary mononuclear complexes Ln(3,4-DMBA)(terpy)(HO),(Ln = Er(1),Ho(2)) and ternary dinuclear complexes [Ln(3,4-DMBA)(terpy)(HO)](Ln = Pr(3),Eu(4)) were successfully synthesized via conventional solution method at room temperature and characterized by element analysis,coordination titration analysis,powder x-ray and IR *** them,we obtained three kinds of single *** 1 and 2 were obtained with a coordination number of eight to form a distorted triangular dodecahedral,while complex 3 was nine-coordinated with a distorted triangular *** the temperature range from 300 K to 1200 K,the thermal decomposition mechanism of complexes 1-4 were investigated by the technology of TG/*** molar heat capacities of four complexes were discussed and compared by the DSC *** smoothed value of heat capacities and thermodynamic function(H-H) and(S-S) for the title complexes were calculated according to the fitted polynomial and thermodynamic *** beyond that,the luminescence spectra of complex 4 exhibited the characteristic emission of Eu ion(D→F),and the fluorescence lifetime of complex 4 was also discussed,then base on the emission data,the result of Coherent Infrared Energy(CIE) indicated the complex 4 was promising candidate for red component in ultraviolet.

Lead,as a toxic heavy metal,can cause adverse health effects such as anemia,encephalopathy,diarrhea,hepatitis,nephritic syndrome the kidneys,and the dysfunction of reproductive and central nervous system[1].FeO nanoparticles are emerging as promising candidates for bio-separation,targeted drug delivery,catalysis and adsorption due to their ultra-fine sizes,biocompatibility and super-paramagnetic properties[2].Mono-disperse FeO nanoparticles were successfully synthesized by a NaAA(sodium acrylate) assisted hydrothermal *** interactions between the FeO nanoparticles and Pb(Ⅱ) wereinvestigated by isothermal titration calorimetry(ITC).The result indicates that the interactions of FeO nanoparticles with Pb(Ⅱ) are endothermic processes.

Spinal cord injury involves non-reversible damage to the central nervous system that is characterized by limited regenerative capacity and secondary inflammatory *** expression of the C-C motif chemokine ligand 2/C-C motif chemokine receptor 2 axis exhibits significant differences before and after *** studies have revealed that the C-C motif chemokine ligand 2/C-C motif chemokine receptor 2 axis is closely associated with secondary inflammatory responses and the recruitment of immune cells following spinal cord injury,suggesting that this axis is a novel target and regulatory control point for *** review comprehensively examines the therapeutic strategies targeting the C-C motif chemokine ligand 2/C-C motif chemokine receptor 2 axis,along with the regenerative and repair mechanisms linking the axis to spinal cord ***,we summarize the upstream and downstream inflammatory signaling pathways associated with spinal cord injury and the C-C motif chemokine ligand 2/C-C motif chemokine receptor 2 *** review primarily elaborates on therapeutic strategies that target the C-C motif chemokine ligand 2/C-C motif chemokine receptor 2 axis and the latest progress of research on antagonistic drugs,along with the approaches used to exploit new therapeutic targets within the C-C motif chemokine ligand 2/C-C motif chemokine receptor 2 axis and the development of targeted ***,there are presently no clinical studies relating to spinal cord injury that are focusing on the C-C motif chemokine ligand 2/C-C motif chemokine receptor 2 *** review aims to provide new ideas and therapeutic strategies for the future treatment of spinal cord injury.

The Large sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope（LAMOST） general survey is a spectroscopic survey that will eventually cover approximately half of the celestial sphere and collect 10 million spectra of stars, galaxies and QSOs. Objects in both the pilot survey and the first year regular survey are included in the LAMOST DR1. The pilot survey started in October 2011 and ended in June 2012, and the data have been released to the public as the LAMOST Pilot data Release in August 2012. The regular survey started in September 2012, and completed its first year of operation in June 2013. The LAMOST DR1 includes a total of 1202 plates containing 2 955 336 spectra, of which 1 790 879 spectra have observed signalto-noise ratio（SNR） ≥ 10. All data with SNR ≥ 2 are formally released as LAMOST DR1 under the LAMOST data policy. This data release contains a total of 2 204 696 spectra, of which 1 944 329 are stellar spectra, 12 082 are galaxy spectra and 5017 are quasars. The DR1 not only includes spectra, but also three stellar catalogs with measured parameters： late A,FGK-type stars with high quality spectra（1 061 918 entries）, A-type stars（100 073 entries）, and M-type stars（121 522 entries）. This paper introduces the survey design, the observational and instrumental limitations, data reduction and analysis, and some caveats. A description of the FITS structure of spectral files and parameter catalogs is also provided.
