Background:The burden of kidney,bladder,and prostate cancers has changed in recent *** study aims to investigate the global and regional burden of,and attributable risk factors for genitourinary cancers during the past 30 ***:We extracted data of kidney,bladder,and prostate cancers from the Global Burden of Disease 2019 database,including incidence,mortality,disability-adjusted life-years(daLYs),and attributable risk factors from 1990 to *** annual percentage changes(EAPC)were calculated to assess the changes in age-standardized incidence rate,age-standardized mortality rate(ASMR),and age-standardized daLYs rate(ASDR).The associations between cancers burden and socio-demographic index(SDI)were also ***:Compared with 1990,the global incident cases in 2019 were higher by 154.78%,123.34%,and 169.11%for kidney,bladder,and prostate cancers,*** the 30-year study period,there was a downward trend in ASMR and ASDR for bladder cancer(EAPC=–0.68 and–0.83,respectively)and prostate cancer(EAPC=–0.75 and–0.71,respectively),but an upward trend for kidney cancer(EAPC=0.35 and 0.12,respectively).Regions and countries with higher SDI had higher incidence,mortality,and daLYs for all three types of *** burden of bladder and prostate cancers was mainly distributed among older men,whereas the burden of kidney cancer increased among middle-aged *** related mortality and daLYs decreased,but high body mass index(BMI)and high fasting plasma glucose(FPG)related mortality and daLYs increased among kidney,bladder,and prostate cancers during the study ***:Kidney,bladder,and prostate cancers remain major global public health challenges,but with distinct trend for different disease entity across different regions and socioeconomic *** proactive intervention strategies,at both the administrative and academic levels,based on the dynamic changes,are needed.

Towards understanding bogus traffic service in online social networks

Critical functionality and huge infuence of the hot trend/topic page(HTP)in microblogging sites have driven the creation of a new kind of underground service called the bogus traffic service(BTS).BTS provides a kind of illegal service which hijacks the HTP by pushing the controlled topics into it for malicious customers with the goal of guiding public *** hijack HTP,the agents of BTS maintain an army of black-market accounts called bogus trafic accounts(BTAs)and control BTAs to generate a burst of fake trafic by massively retweeting the tweets containing the customer desired topic(hashtag).Although this service has been extensively exploited by malicious customers,little has been done to understand *** this paper,we conduct a systematic measurement study of the *** first investigate and collect 125 BTS agents from a variety of sources and set up a honey pot account to capture BTAs from these *** then build a BTA detector that detects 162218 BTAs from Weibo,the largest Chinese microblogging site,with a precision of 94.5%.We further use them as a bridge to uncover 296916 topics that might be involved in bogus ***,we uncover the operating mechanism from the perspectives of the attack cycle and the attack *** highlights of our findings include the temporal attack patterns and intelligent evasion tactics of the *** findings bring BTS into the *** work will help in understanding and ultimately eliminating this threat.

Colorectal cancer(CRC) is one of the major causes of cancer-related mortality worldwide. Most near-infrared(NIR) agents used in clinical CRC treatment are at NIR-I(700–900 nm) window, which has limitations on deep tissue, and fluorescent probes in the second NIR(1,000–1,700 nm) allow high-resolution bioimaging with deep tissue penetration. However, existing NIR-II fluorophores used in clinical are still rare. herein, based on shielding-donor-acceptor-donor-shielding(S-D-A-D-S) scaffold, we developed an organic small-molecule fluorophore IR-BTGP with NIR-II emission for imaging-guided photothermal therapy(PTT) in CRC mice model. Amphiphilic IR-BTGP can be self-assembled into spherical nano-micelles, which presents reliable water solubility and photothermal conversion efficiency(30.2%). In vitro experiments indicate that cancer cells treated with IRBTGP were significantly killed upon 808 nm light irradiation. Furthermore, in vivo NIR-II fluorescence imaging confirms that IR-BTGP accumulates in the tumor region. Remarkably, a significant tumor inhibition rate(78.5%) was observed in tumorbearing mice when treated with IR-BTGP plus 808 nm irradiation. Therefore, this work shows that IR-BTGP holds great promise as an NIR-II fluorescence imaging-guided PTT platform for CRC in the future.

Ethnicity might be associated with treatment outcomes in advanced prostate *** study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of androgen deprivation therapy(ADT)combined with apalutamide in East Asians with metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer(mCSPC).The original phase 3 Targeted Investigational Treatment Analysis of Novel Anti-androgen(TITAN)trial was conducted at 260 sites in 23 *** subgroup analysis included patients enrolled in 62 participating centers in China,Japan,and *** progression-free survival(PFS),time to prostate-specific antigen(PSA)progression,and PSA changes from baseline were compared between groups in the East Asian *** intent-to-treat East Asian population included 111 and 110 participants in the apalutamide and placebo groups,*** 24-month radiographic PFS rates were 76.1%and 52.3%in the apalutamide and placebo groups,respectively(apalutamide vs placebo:hazard ratio[HR]=0.506;95%confidence interval[CI],0.302–0.849;P=0.009).Median time to PSA progression was more favorable with apalutamide than placebo(HR=0.210;95%CI,0.124–0.357;Pline from baseline were 99.0%and 73.9%in the apalutamide and placebo groups,*** most common adverse event(AE)was rash in the apalutamide group,with a higher rate than that in the placebo group(37.3%vs 9.1%).The most common grade 3 or 4 AEs were rash(12[10.9%])and hypertension(12[10.9%])for *** efficacy and safety of apalutamide in the East Asian subgroup of the TITAN trial are consistent with the global results.
