Identifying volcanic reservoir types and their distribution patterns in volcanic edifices is important for accurate prediction and exploration of hydrocarbon ***,we analyzed the distribution patterns of different reservoir levels in volcanic edifices,discussed controlling factors,and reclassified reservoir *** was done using core observations,whole-rock geochemistry,and reservoir physical property analysis,combined with logging,drilling,seismic,and oil-gas test *** can be divided into three classes based on their physical *** Mesozoic intermediate and basic rocks formed ClassⅠreservoirs,most lithologies formed ClassⅡreservoirs,and diabase intrusions and tight volcanic rocks formed ClassⅢ*** form in different lithologies in the Huanghua depression due to *** faults deepen the influence of weathering leading to the formation of reservoirs in ***,volcanic rhythms and fractures control the vertical distribution of Cenozoic basaltic *** reservoirs are classified into five types based on the main controlling factors and distribution patterns in volcanic edifices:tectonic-alteration,vesiclefracture,weathered-effusive,weathered-eruptive,and weathered-tectonic *** these,the weathered-eruptive type can easily form ClassⅠreservoirs,making it the best target for *** the weathered-tectonic and vesicle-fracture types tend to develop ClassⅡreservoirs and can be potential *** new classification takes into account the relationship between reservoir levels and their distribution in volcanic edifices,it is more conducive to igneous reservoir prediction in the Huanghua *** study provides a novel idea for the classification and comparative study of igneous reservoirs in petroliferous basins.

Characteristics of the Cretaceous Magmatism in Huanghua Depression and Their Relationships with Hydrocarbon Enrichment

The Huanghua depression located in the hinterland of the Bohai Bay Basin in eastern China is a typical area for the research of multistage magmatic activities with hydrocarbon enrichment,many high-yield wells related to igneous rocks were discovered within the Cretaceous strata in recent ***,the spatial and temporal distribution of Cretaceous igneous rocks remains unclear,and the relationships among magmatic sequence,lithology,and hydrocarbon enrichment have been poorly *** order to solve these problems,core observation,logging analysis,major element analysis,zircon U-Pb chronology,oil-bearing grade statistics and reservoir spaces analysis were used to subdivide the magmatism cycles and to investigate the characteristics of igneous *** results show that the Mesozoic magmatism in Huanghua depression started in 140.1±1.4 Ma and could be divided into two stages including the Early Cretaceous stage and Late Cretaceous *** Early Cretaceous magmatism principally developed basic-intermediate rocks in the north zone,and could be subdivided into 3 cycles with their forming ages of 140,125–119,and 118–111 Ma,*** contrast,the late stage mainly developed intermediate-acid rocks centralized in the south zone and formed at 75–70 *** GR and SP curves are good indicators for the contrast of different lithologies,lithofacies and for magmatic sequences *** magmatism may have an advantage to form reservoirs,since basalt in cycle III in the Early Cretaceous and dacite porphyrite in the Late Cretaceous have great exploration *** and tectonic fractures have an important influence on the formation of reservoir spaces and hydrocarbon *** characteristics of Cretaceous magmatism and igneous reservoirs in Huanghua depression and adjacent areas are summarized,providing important information for igneous reservoirs research and oil-gas exploration in the Cretaceous in related areas.

Discriminating hydrocarbon generation potential of coaly source rocks and their contribution:a case study from the Upper Paleozoic of Bohai Bay Basin,China

Although various coaly source rocks widely developed in the Carboniferous-Permian(C-P)of the Bohai Bay Basin,their geochemical characteristics and hydrocarbon generation potential are poorly *** study aims to discriminate the contribution of hydrocarbon generation from different C-P coaly source rocks and clarify the differences within generated oils using organic geochemistry,organic petrology,and thermal simulation *** coaly source rocks containt coal clarain and durain,carbonaceous shale,and shale deposited in deltaic and lagoonal *** results indicated that clarain,durain,and carbonaceous shale exhibited higher hydrogen index and liquid-gas hydrocarbon yields than lagoonal and deltaic shales,which was mainly associated with the concentrations of sporinite,cutinite,and hydrogen-rich *** hydro-carbons originated firom coal and carbonaceous shale presented lower Ts/(Ts+Tm),Ga/17α(H)21β(H)-C_(30)hopane,18α(H)-oleanane/17α(H)21β(H)-C_(30)hopane ratios,and higher 17β3(H)21α(H)-C_(30)Morane/17α(H)21β(H)-C_(30)hopane than deltaic lagoonal *** of aromatic hydrocarbons generated from five lithologies of coaly source rocks trended as clear group distribution,e.g.,clarain and durain showing lower MNR,DBT/Fluorene(F)ratios and higher DBF/F ratio than coaly *** distinct descending trend of hydrocarbon potential is obtained from clarain,durain,carbonaceous shale to lagoonal and deltaic shales,implying dominated the petroleum and natural gas supplement from coal and carbonaceous *** difference between aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons provides a significant contribution to analyze the generic relationship between coaly source rock and lacustrine *** results illustrate the importance of coaly source rocks for the in-depth oil-gas exploration of the Bohai Bay Basin and understanding hydrocarbon generation potential of source rocks in coal bearing strata.

Syntheses and Crystal Structures of Two Complexes with 3-(3-Pyridyl)acrylic Acid

The reaction of 3-（3-pyridyl）acrylic acid （H（3-PYA）） with Co（NO3）2.6H2O or MnCl2.4H2O yielded two new complexes： [Co（3-PYA）2（H2O）4.H2O] 1 and [Mn（3-PYA）2（H2O）4] 2. Complex 1 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group C2/c with a = 9.9473（12）, b = 13.7227（16）, c = 14.7376（18） A, β = 99.043（2）°, V = 1986.7（4） A^3, Z = 4, Dc= 1.549 g/cm^3,μ = 0.921 mm^-1, F（000） = 964, R = 0.0786 and wR = 0.1443. Six types of hydrogen bonds and π-π packing interactions connect the mononuclear units [Co（Ⅱ）（3-PYA）2（H2O）4·H2O] into a three-dimensional supramolecular architecture. Complex 2 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/n with a = 11.3630（16）, b = 7.0346（10）, c = 12.1365（18） A, β = 112.545（3）°, V = 896.0（2） A^3, Z = 2, D, = 1.997 g/cm^3,μ = 0.785 mm^-1, F（000） = 438, R = 0.0787 and wR = 0.1550. The discrete entity Mn（Ⅱ）（3-PYD）2（H2O）4 is extended into a 3-D supramolecular architecture by four kinds of hydrogen bonds.

Decipher hydrocarbon generation and accumulation based on fluid inclusion and chronology:A case study from the Upper Paleozoic buried-hills in Huanghua Depression,Bohai Bay Basin

Deciphering hydrocarbon generation and accumulation stage is of significance to understand oil and gas evolution and seek exploration *** the Upper Paleozoic buried-hills in the Huanghua Depression,Bohai Bay Basin,as a case study,hydrocarbon generation environment and detailed accumulation process are revealed by fluid inclusions observations,Laser Raman spectroscopy,Fourier Infrared spectroscopy,and K-Ar isotope *** results show that both oil and gas inclusion were captured in the quartz overgrowth,dissolved feldspar and calcite microfractures,showing blue to dark brown *** grains containing oil inclusions index(GOI)of oil,oil&gas and gas being 25%,65%,and 10%and the inclusions with abundant methyl groups and short chains,both indicate high thermal *** series of fluids inclusion is generally observed,evidenced by the concentrated homogenization temperature of 135-145℃ and salinity of 3%-15 w.t.%NaCl equiv,indicating one primary charging *** gas and gas&liquid inclusions mainly contain CH_(4),with also peaks indicating CO_(2) and N_(2.)The Carboniferous and Permian biomarkers show reducing environment with brackish water,with organic matter sources both from marine and *** relative content ofααα20RC_(27),ααα20RC_(28),andααα20RC_(29) exhibit source contributions both from algae and higher plants,and mainly of II2 to III *** coal derived gas and oil associated hydrocarbons are identified from most of the *** the fluid homogenization temperature and salinity,as well as the thermal evolution history,the hydrocarbon generated from the Upper Paleozoic was concentrated at the end of the Eocene(40 Ma±),while the beginning of charging is 60 Ma±.The Wumaying Buried-hill is of only coal derived gas and has potential for inner coal measure natural gas *** results provide a detailed understanding of hydrocarbon accumulations in the study area,which can also be reference for impro

Differences and identification on multi-time hydrocarbon generation of carboniferous-permian coaly source rocks in the Huanghua Depression,Bohai Bay Basin

Coal is a solid combustible mineral,and coal-bearing strata have important hydrocarbon generation potential and contribute to more than 12%of the global hydrocarbon ***,the deposition and hydrocarbon evolution process of ancient coal-bearing strata is characterized by multiple geological times,leading to obvious distinctions in their hydrocarbon generation potential,geological processes,and production,which affect the evaluation and exploration of hydrocarbon resources derived from coaly source rocks *** study aimed to identify the differences on oil-generated parent macerals and the production of oil generated from different coaly source rocks and through different oil generation *** with the analysis of previous tectonic burial history and hydrocarbon generation history,high-temperature and high-pressure thermal simulation experiments,organic geochemistry,and organic petrology were performed on the Carboniferous-Permian(C-P)coaly source rocks in the Huanghua Depression,Bohai Bay *** oil-generated parent macerals of coal's secondary oil generation process(SOGP)were mainly hydrogen-rich collotelinite,collodetrinite,sporinite,and cutinite,while the oil-generated parent macerals of tertiary oil generation process(TOGP)were the remaining small amount of hydrogen-rich collotelinite,sporinite,and cutinite,as well as dispersed soluble organic matter and unexhausted residual *** with coal,the oil-generated parent macerals of coaly shale SOGP were mostly sporinite and *** part of hydrogen-poor vitrinite,lacking hydrocarbon-rich macerals,and macerals of the TOGP,in addition to some remaining cutinite and a small amount of crude oil and bitumen from SOGP contributed to the oil *** results indicated that the changes in oil yield had a good junction between SOGP and TOGP,both coal and coaly shale had higher SOGP aborted oil yield than TOGP starting yield,and coaly shale TOGP peak oil yield was low

Development of A Fiber-Packed In-Tube Extraction Device and Its Application for BTEX Analysis

A fiber-packed in-tube extraction device was developed with heat-resistant fibers coated with molecularly imprinted polymer as adsorbent for concentration of the volatile organic compounds（VOCs）. The coated fibers were longitudinally packed into a filling chamber. The inner diameter of the filling chamber was 3 mm and its length was 2.5 cm. The filling chamber was connected to gas chromatography port by a stainless needle. The device was heated by an external heater consisting of the heating wire surrounded outside of the filling chamber to gasify the analytes in the adsorbent. The prepared fiber-packed in-tube extraction device was used to analyze benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and o-xylene in gas sample coupled with gas chromatography. The result shows that the device has better permeability. The extraction time for 150 mL gas sample was 1.2 min. The range of linear detection, recovery, limit of detection（LOD） and limit of quantification（LOQ） were also evaluated for the promising method. The calibration plots for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and o-xylene were linear in the concentration range of 1-300 μg·L;, and the corresponding correlation coefficients exceeded 0.9936. The LODs and LOQs of the analytes were in the range of 0.02-0.03 μg·L;and 0.03-0.05 μg·L;, respectively. The recoveries of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and o-xylene were 90.3%, 94.3%, 98.7%, and 103.3%, respectively.

Evolution characteristics and exploration targets of Permian clastic rock reservoirs in Bohai Bay Basin,East China

Based on core observation, thin section examination, fluid inclusions analysis, carbon and oxygen isotopic composition analysis, and other approaches, the structural and burial evolution histories were investigated, and the diagenetic evolution process and genetic/development models were systematically discussed of the Upper Paleozoic Permian clastic rock reservoirs in the Bohai Bay Basin, East China. The Bohai Bay Basin underwent three stages of burial and two stages of uplifting in the Upper Paleozoic. Consequently, three stages of acid dissolution generated by the thermal evolution of kerogen, and two stages of meteoric freshwater leaching occurred. Dissolution in deeply buried, nearly closed diagenetic system was associated with the precipitation of authigenic clay and quartz, leading to a limited increase in storage space. Different structural uplifting–subsidence processes of tectonic zones resulted in varying diagenetic–reservoir-forming processes of the Permian clastic reservoirs. Three genetic models of reservoirs are recognized. The Model I reservoirs with pores formed in shallow strata and buried in shallow to medium strata underwent two stages of exposure to long-term open environment and two stages of meteoric freshwater leaching to enhance pores near the surface, and were shallowly buried in the late stage, exhibiting the dominance of secondary pores and the best physical properties. The Model Ⅱ reservoirs with pores formed in shallow strata and preserved due to modification after deep burial experienced an early exposure-open to late burial-closed environment, where pore types were modified due to dissolution, exhibiting the dominance of numerous secondary solution pores in feldspar and the physical properties inferior to Model I. Fast and simultaneous determination of ginsenosides by isocratic high-performance liquid chromatography

A high-performance liquid chromatography method for the simultaneous determination of seven bioactive ginsenosides with diol stationary phase and isocratic elution was used to determin the ginsenosides in ginseng products. The optimization of the chromatographic separation was performed and the effect of temperature on separation was investigated. Using the validated procedure, the developed method was demonstrated to be more sensitive and effective than the conventional reversed-phase chromatography, where the chromatographic run is time-consuming to analyze a large number of ginsenosides. The results indicated that the developed method can be used for the quantitative determination of ginsenosides in complex ginseng samples.

Sequence of fat partitioning and its relationship with whole body insulin resistance

Background Currently it is unclear whether lipid accumulation occurs in a particular sequence and its relationship with whole body insulin resistance （IR）. This study aimed to answer this *** Male Sprague-dawley （SD） rats were fed on a normal or a high-fat diet for 20 weeks. Serum triglycerides （TG）, serum free fatty acids （FFA）, fasting plasma glucose （FPG）, and liver and skeletal muscle TG were measured. The glucose infusion rate （GIR） and mRNA levels of acetyl-CoA carboxylase （ACC） and carnitine palmitoyltransferase-1 （CPT-1） in the liver and skeletal muscle were determined at different *** Compared with rats fed on the normal diet, serum FFA was not significantly increased in rats fed on the high-fat diet until 20 weeks. In contrast, liver TG was significantly increased by the high-fat diet by four weeks （20-fold; P ＜0.01）,and remained elevated until the end of the study. However, skeletal muscle TG was not significantly increased by the high-fat diet until 20 weeks （10.6-fold; P＜0.01）, and neither was the FPG. The GIR was significantly reduced （1.6-fold; P ＜0.01） by the high-fat diet after 8 weeks. The mRNA levels of ACC gradually increased over time and CPT-1 decreased over time, in both the liver and skeletal muscle in rats fed the high-fat *** Lipid accumulation in the liver occurs earlier than lipid accumulation in the skeletal muscle. Fatty liver may be one of the early markers of whole body IR. Changes in the gene expression levels of ACC and CPT-1 may have important roles in the process of IR development.
