Deep-ultraviolet(DUV)phototransistors have shown great potential applications in UV imaging,artificial intelligence,and wearable *** a large number of wide bandgap semiconductors,the quasi-two-dimensionalβ-Ga_(2)O_(3) is considered as an ideal candidate for DUV photodetector ***,we report a high responsivity(R)and fully flexible Ta-dopedβ-Ga_(2)O_(3) DUV phototransistor which exhibits outstanding optoelectrical properties with a high R of 1.32×10^(6) A/W,a large detectivity of 5.68×10^(14) Jones,a great photo-to-dark current ratio of 1.10×10^(10)%,a high external quantum efficiency of 6.60×10^(8)%,and an ultra-fast response time of~3.50 ***,the flexible Ta-dopedβ-Ga_(2)O_(3) device also displays high reliability and mechanical flexibility that can sustain well after over 1×10^(4) bending ***,high-contrast imaging of UV light was obtained on the flexible DUV detector arrays,which can be efficiently trained and recognized by an artificial neural *** findings offer a perspective to develop wearable optoelectronics and UV imaging based on high-performance flexibleβ-Ga_(2)O_(3) DUV phototransistors,providing an inspiration for the future work in artificial intelligence and bionic robot fields.

Enhancing photocatalytic hydrogen peroxide production of Tibased metal-organic frameworks:The leading role of facet engineering

Rational construction of the facet engineering over metal-organic frameworks is of significant interest for enhancing photocatalytic performance,yet the role of modulator except regulating facet is largely ***,facet engineering of NH_(2)-MIL125(aMIL)was achieved through the facile one-pot method by controlling the concentration of acetic acid *** probable domino effects induced with the detectable modulator were extensively investigated,evidencing the multi-position in one mode contained powder X-Ray diffraction(PXRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),and X-ray absorption spectroscopy(XAS),***,correlation among the{111}facets engineering,the degree of structural defects,and the performance of photocatalytic hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))production was studied in detail,revealing that facet and defect engineering respectively play positive and relatively negative roles in the photocatalytic oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)with a volcano-type ***-3 photocatalyst could deliver H_(2)O_(2) production rate of 925.8μmol·h^(−1)·g^(−1)(2.03-fold of aMIL)under visible-light irradiation and a quantum yield of 1.08%at 420 nm.

Adult Stress Promotes Purinergic Signaling to Induce Visceral Pain in Rats with Neonatal Maternal Deprivation

Chronic visceral pain is one of the primary symptoms of patients with irritable bowel syndrome(IBS),which affects up to 15%of the population *** detailed mechanisms of visceral pain remain largely *** previous studies have shown that neonatal maternal deprivation(NMD)followed by adult multiple stress(AMS)advances the occurrence of visceral pain,likely due to enhanced norepinephrine(NE)-β2 adrenergic *** study was designed to explore the roles of P2X3 receptors(P2X3Rs)in the chronic visceral pain induced by combined ***,we showed that P2X3 Rs were co-expressed inβ2 adrenergic receptor(β2-AR)-positive dorsal root ganglion neurons and that NE significantly enhanced ATP-induced Ca2+*** and AMS not only significantly increased the protein expression of P2X3Rs,but also greatly enhanced the ATP-evoked current density,number of action potentials,and intracellular Ca2+concentration of colon-related DRG *** injection of the P2X3R inhibitor A317491 greatly attenuated the visceral pain and the ATP-induced Ca2+signals in NMD and AMS ***,theβ2-AR antagonist butoxamine significantly reversed the expression of P2X3Rs,the ATP-induced current density,and the number of action potentials of DRG ***,our data demonstrate that NMD followed by AMS leads to P2X3R activation,which is most likely mediated by upregulation ofβ2 adrenergic signaling in primary sensory neurons,thus contributing to visceral hypersensitivity.

Population Improvement of Resistance to Late Blight in Tetraploid Potato:A Case Study in Combination with AFLP Marker Assisted Background Selection

Cultivated potato with high level of horizontal resistance against late blight is one of the most important goals of potato *** recurrent selection has been adopted to increase the level of potato horizontal resistance and a B3C1 population without R1-R11 dominant genes has been released by the International Potato Center at the short-day condition of *** present research was carried out to further improve the resistance and the agronomic traits of B3C1 population under long-day condition of hubei,China,with maximized retention of its genetic ***-seven individual clones of B3C1 were used to generate population B3C2 by in-population crossing with the bulk pollens aiming to elevate the frequency of late blight resistance genotypes and to improve the adaptation to local long-day *** late blight resistance and the main agronomic traits including the maturity,the plant characters and the tuber traits were evaluated for the foreground selection in three years,by which 130 pedigrees were maintained as the basic population of B3C2 for further selection.A total of 312 polymorphic loci detected by 9 AFLP marker combinations were used to monitor the genetic diversity of the populations for the background *** B3C2 population of 51 clones was finally selected,of which the frequency of resistant genotypes increased by 23.8% points and the genetic diversity was maintained by about 96% as referred to *** results strongly suggested that combination of the foreground selection for target traits and the background selection for the genetic diversity is an efficient strategy in the recurrent selection of tetraploid potato to improve quantitative traits.

Staging of liver fibrosis in chronic hepatitis B patients with a composite predictive model:A comparative study

AIM:To evaluate the efficacy of 6 noninvasive liver fibrosis models and to identify the most valuable model for the prediction of liver fibrosis stage in chronic hepatitis B(CHB) ***:Seventy-eight CHB patients were consecutively enrolled in this *** biopsy was performed and blood serum was obtained at *** diagnosis was made according to the METAVIR *** fibrosis was defined as stage score ≥ 2,severe fibrosis as stage score ≥ *** diagnostic accuracy of 6 noninvasive liver fibrosis models,including serum aspartate aminotransferase(AST) to platelet ratio index(APRI),FIB-4,Forn's index,Fibrometer,Hepascore,and Shanghai liver Fibrosis Group's index(SLFG),was ***:The APRI,FIB-4 and Forn's index under receiver operating characteristic curve(AUROC) for sig-nificant fibrosis were 0.71,0.75 and 0.79,respectively,with a diagnosis accuracy of 67%,77% and 80%,respectively,and 0.80,0.87 and 0.86,respectively,under the AUROC for severe *** Hepascore,SLFG,and Fibrometer were 0.80,0.83 and 0.85,respectively under the AUROC for significant fibrosis(P < 0.01).The diagnosis accuracy of Hepascore and SLFG was 86% and 88%,*** Hepascore,SLFG,and Fibrometer were 0.95,0.93,and 0.94,respectively,under the AUROC for severe fibrosis(P < 0.01).CONCLUSION:The models containing direct serum markers have a better diagnostic value than those not containing direct serum markers.

Numerical simulation and optimization of shell mould casting process for leaf spring bracket

Although the shell mould casting process has a wide range of application in many fields,the prediction of casting defects is still a *** the present work,a typical leaf spring bracket casting of ZG310-570 was fabricated by shell mold *** finite element model and ProCAST software were utilized for simulating the filling and solidification processes of the casting;and the formation mechanism of the gas pore,and shrinkage porosity defects were *** results indicate that the gas pore and shrinkage porosity defects are formed due to air entrapment,insufficient feeding and non-sequential ***,through changing the position of risers,adding a connecting channel between the risers,and setting blind risers at the U-shaped brackets,an optimized gating and feeding system was established to improve the quality of the *** optimization,the gas pore and shrinkage porosity defects of the leaf spring bracket casting are effectively *** experiment results with the optimized casting process are in good agreement with the numerical simulation,which verifies the validity of the finite element model in the shell mould casting.

Hot deformation characteristics and hot working window of as-cast large-tonnage GH3535 superalloy ingot

Deformation characteristics and range of optimized hot working parameters of a 6.5 tons GH3535 superalloy ingot with an average columnar grain size of over 1 mm in diameter were investigated. Axial compression experiments were performed in temperature range of 900-1240 ℃ and strain rate range of 0.001-30 s;at a total strain of 0.8. The hot deformation activation energy of the experimental GH3535 alloy is calculated to be 483.22 kJ/mol. Furthermore, the deformation constitutive equation is established by the peak stresses obtained from the stress-strain curves under various conditions. The hot working window of the alloy ingot at a strain of 0.8 can be preliminarily discussed based on the deformed microstructures and processing maps. The optimized hot working window was thus determined at the strain of 0.95 for 6.5 tons GH3535 alloy ingot by the supplementary compression tests. A large-size GH3535 superalloy ring with a dimension of 03010 mm x 410 mm was ultimately manufactured.

Focal mechanics and disaster characteristics of the 2024 M 7.6 Noto Peninsula Earthquake,Japan

On January 1,2024,a devastating M 7.6 earthquake struck the Noto Peninsula,Ishikawa Prefecture,Japan,resulting in significant casualties and property *** information from the first six days after the earthquake,this article analyzes the seismic source characteristics,disaster situation,and emergency response of this *** results show:1)The earthquake rupture was of the thrust type,with aftershock distribution showing a north-east-oriented belt-like feature of 150 km.2)Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)and Interferometric synthetic aperture radar(InSAR),observations detected significant westward to north-westward co-seismic displacement near the epicenter,with the maximum horizontal displacement reaching 1.2 m and the vertical uplift displacement reaching 4 m.A two-segment fault inversion model fits the observational data well.3)Near the epicenter,large Peak Ground Velocity(PGV)and Peak Ground Acceleration(PGA)were observed,with the maxima reaching 145 cm/s and 2681 gal,respectively,and the intensity reached the highest level 7 on the Japanese(Japan Meteorological Agency,JMA)intensity standard,which is higher than level 10 of the United States Geological Survey(USGS)Modified Mercalli Intensity(MMI)standard.4)The observation of the very rare multiple strong pulse-like ground motion(PLGM)waveform poses a topic worthy of research in the field of earthquake engineering.5)As of January 7,the earthquake had left 128 deaths and 560 injuries in Ishikawa Prefecture,with 1305 buildings completely or partially destroyed,and had triggered a chain of disasters including tsunamis,fires,slope failures,and road ***,this paper summarizes the emergency rescue,information dissemination,and other disaster response and management measures taken in response to this *** work provides a reference case for carrying out effective responses,and offers lessons for handling similar events in the future.

An efficient projection defocus algorithm based on multi-scale convolution kernel templates

The focal problems of projection include out-of-focus projection images from the projector caused by incomplete mechanical focus and screen-door effects produced by projection pixilation. To eliminate these defects and enhance the imaging quality and clarity of projectors, a novel adaptive projection defocus algorithm is proposed based on multi-scale convolution kernel templates. This algorithm applies the improved Sobel-Tenengrad focus evaluation function to calculate the sharpness degree of intensity equalization and then constructs multi-scale defocus convolution kernels to remap and render the defocus projection image. The resulting projection defocus corrected images can eliminate out-of-focus effects and improve the sharpness of uncorrected images. Experiments show that the algorithm works quickly and robustly and that it not only effectively eliminates visual artifacts and can run on a self-designed smart projection system in real time but also significantly improves the resolution and clarity of the observer's visual perception.
