Predictive value of preoperative routine examination for the prognosis of patients with pT2N0M0 or pT3N0M0 colorectal cancer

BACKGROUND In recent years,the incidence of colorectal cancer(CRC)has been increasing.With the popularization of endoscopic technology,a number of early CRC has been diagnosed.However,despite current treatment methods,some patients with early CRC still experience postoperative recurrence and metastasis.AIM To search for indicators associated with early CRC recurrence and metastasis to identify high-risk populations.METHODS A total of 513 patients with pT2N0M0 or pT3N0M0 CRC were retrospectively enrolled in this study.Results of blood routine test,liver and kidney function tests and tumor markers were collected before surgery.Patients were followed up through disease-specific database and telephone interviews.Tumor recurrence,metastasis or death were used as the end point of study to find the risk factors and predictive value related to early CRC recurrence and metastasis.RESULTS We comprehensively compared the predictive value of preoperative blood routine,blood biochemistry and tumor markers for disease-free survival(DFS)and overall survival(OS)of CRC.Cox multivariate analysis demonstrated that low platelet count was significantly associated with poor DFS[hazard ratio(HR)=0.995,95% confidence interval(CI):0.991-0.999,P=0.015],while serum carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)level(HR=1.008,95%CI:1.001-1.016,P=0.027)and serum total cholesterol level(HR=1.538,95%CI:1.026-2.305,P=0.037)were independent risk factors for OS.The cutoff value of serum CEA level for predicting OS was 2.74 ng/mL.Although the OS of CRC patients with serum CEA higher than the cutoff value was worse than those with lower CEA level,the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P=0.075).CONCLUSION For patients with T2N0M0 or T3N0M0 CRC,preoperative platelet count was a protective factor for DFS,while serum CEA level was an independent risk factor for OS.Given that these measures are easier to detect and more acceptable to patients,they may have broader applications.

Photocatalytic dicarboxylation of strained C-C bonds with CO_(2) via consecutive visible-light-induced electron transfer

Dicarboxylic acids have a wide range of applications in the polymer industry to construct valuable materials.Photocatalysis has recently emerged as an efficient and sustainable strategy to generate dicarboxylic acids.However,photocatalytic dicarboxylation with CO_(2) is mainly limited to unsaturated bonds,and the dicarboxylation of C-C single bonds still remains a challenge.Herein,we report a photocatalytic dicarboxylation of C-C single bonds in strained rings with CO_(2) units via consecutive photo-induced electron transfer(ConPET).It is also the first photocatalytic reductive ring-opening reaction of cyclobutanes.Notably,this transition-metal-free protocol exhibits good functional group tolerance,broad substrate scope,facile scalability,and easy product derivatizations.Moreover,diacids can easily be derivatized to mainchain liquid crystalline polyesters.

Continual learning(CL)studies the problem of learning to accumulate knowledge over time from a stream of data.A crucial challenge is that neural networks suffer from performance degradation on previously seen data,known as catastrophic forgetting,due to allowing parameter sharing.In this work,we consider a more practical online class-incremental CL setting,where the model learns new samples in an online manner and may continuously experience new classes.Moreover,prior knowledge is unavailable during training and evaluation.Existing works usually explore sample usages from a single dimension,which ignores a lot of valuable supervisory information.To better tackle the setting,we propose a novel replay-based CL method,which leverages multi-level representations produced by the intermediate process of training samples for replay and strengthens supervision to consolidate previous knowledge.Specifically,besides the previous raw samples,we store the corresponding logits and features in the memory.Furthermore,to imitate the prediction of the past model,we construct extra constraints by leveraging multi-level information stored in the memory.With the same number of samples for replay,our method can use more past knowledge to prevent interference.We conduct extensive evaluations on several popular CL datasets,and experiments show that our method consistently outperforms state-of-the-art methods with various sizes of episodic memory.We further provide a detailed analysis of these results and demonstrate that our method is more viable in practical scenarios.

基于2011—2022年中国沪深两市A股上市企业数据,检验中央环保督察如何影响当前企业前沿的ESG表现。实证结果发现,中央环保督察能够有效驱动企业ESG表现水平提升。从异质性检验看,中央环保督察对于非国有企业、重污染企业ESG表现的促进作用更为明显。从机制分析看,中央环保督察能够显著提升企业的主动性风险承担水平、增加企业的环境补贴强度并增强企业的绿色技术创新动能,从而有助于企业ESG表现水平的提升。

Dynamic transfer model and applications of a penetrating projectile‐fuze multibody system

In modern warfare,fortifications are being placed deeper underground and with increased mechanical strength,placing higher demands on the target speed of the penetrating munitions that attack them.In such practical scenarios,penetrating fuze inevitably experience extreme mechanical loads with long pulse durations and high shock strengths.Experimental results indicate that their shock accelerations can even exceed those of the projectile by several times.However,due to the unclear understanding of the dynamic transfer mechanism of the penetrating fuze system under such extreme mechanical conditions,there is still a lack of effective methods to accurately estimate and design protection against the impact loads on the penetrating fuze.This paper focuses on the dynamic response of penetrating munitions and fuzes under high impact,establishing a nonlinear dynamic transfer model for penetrating fuze systems,which can calculate the sensor overload signal of the fuze location.The results show that the relative error between the peak acceleration obtained by the proposed multibody dynamic transfer model and that obtained by experimental tests is only 15.7%,which is much lower than the 26.4%error between finite element simulations and experimental tests.The computational burden of the proposed method mainly lies in the parameter calibration process,which needs to be performed only once for a specific projectile‐fuze system.Once calibrated,the model can rapidly conduct parameter scanning simulations for the projectile mass,target plate strength,and impact velocity with an extremely low computational cost to obtain the response characteristics of the projectile‐fuze system under various operating conditions.This greatly facilitates the practical engineering design of penetrating ammunition fuze.

It is challenging for aqueous Zn-ion batteries(ZIBs)to achieve comparable low-temperature(low-T)performance due to the easy-frozen electrolyte and severe Zn dendrites.Herein,an aqueous electrolyte with a low freezing point and high ionic conductivity is proposed.Combined with molecular dynamics simulation and multi-scale interface analysis(time of flight secondary ion mass spectrometry threedimensional mapping and in-situ electrochemical impedance spectroscopy method),the temperature independence of the V_(2)O_(5)cathode and Zn anode is observed to be opposite.Surprisingly,dominated by the solvent structure of the designed electrolyte at low temperatures,vanadium dissolution/shuttle is significantly inhibited,and the zinc dendrites caused by this electrochemical crosstalk are greatly relieved,thus showing an abnormal temperature inversion effect.Through the disclosure and improvement of the above phenomena,the designed Zn||V_(2)O_(5)full cell delivers superior low-T performance,maintaining almost 99%capacity retention after 9500 cycles(working more than 2500 h)at-20°C.This work proposes a kind of electrolyte suitable for low-T ZIBs and reveals the inverse temperature dependence of the Zn anode,which might offer a novel perspective for the investigation of low-T aqueous battery systems.

实体经济波动与政策信誉均是中央银行关注的重要目标。面对当下需求收缩、供给冲击和预期转弱的“三重压力”,中央银行如何在实体经济目标与政策信誉间分配权重成为了亟待阐释的问题。研究发现:中央银行的名义利率调整主要是盯住剔除食品价格的CPIf和伪产出缺口,而不是盯住产出缺口等现实中不存在的变量;对于通货膨胀而言,中央银行具有明显的区间调控意愿,即只要通胀偏离不超出一定范围,政策利率一般不随之变动,至于产出端,中央银行的容忍度则相对较低,通常会采取即时调控,并具有强烈的规避经济收缩意愿;相对于政策信誉成本,实体经济波动成本仍是货币政策成本的核心来源。据此,货币政策调控应赋于实体经济更高的权重,提高中央银行政策调控效能,深化利率市场化改革。

Dual-phase and three-phase grating x-ray interference is a promising new technique for grating-based x-ray differential phase contrast imaging.Dual-phase grating interferometers have been relatively completely studied and discussed.In this paper,the corresponding imaging fringe formula of the three-phase grating interferometer is provided.At the same time,the similarities and differences between the three-phase grating interferometer and the dual-phase grating interferometer are investigated and verified,and that the three-phase grating interferometer can produce large-period moiréfringes without using the analyzing grating is demonstrated experimentally.Finally,a simple method of designing three-phase grating and multi-grating imaging systems from geometric optics based on the thin-lens theory of gratings is presented.These theoretical formulas and experimental results provide optimization tools for designing three-phase grating interferometer systems.

以历史文献为主要代用资料,重建了1632年华北地区暴雨洪涝事件的雨情、水情、灾情等,从而识别出1632年8月河南地区暴雨事件的时空范围,并与有器测记录的2021年河南极端降水事件进行对比。1632年华北地区大规模降水始于7月17日,从6月18日—11月11日,整个华北不同区域皆存有长时间降雨记录,且有多次强降水记录,造成黄淮地区雨涝,并使得黄淮交溃,对社会经济造成较大影响。梳理降水和洪涝的过程,区分了本地降水与客水的分布。将1632年8月河南暴雨洪涝与2021年7月河南极端降水事件对比发现,强降水位置相似,降水前后都有两个台风输送水汽,且1632和2021年华北地区夏季降水皆受到拉尼娜的影响,整体偏涝。

基于三重网络模型的酒精依赖患者静息态动态功能连接分析

目的:探讨酒精依赖(AD)患者静息态三重网络(中央执行网络、突显网络、默认模式网络)动态功能网络连通性(dFNC)的变化。方法:于2020年2月-2021年3月采集15例酒精依赖患者和15例健康志愿者(正常对照组)的静息态fMRI数据。对预处理后的fMRI数据进行独立成分分析以获得大脑网络成分,并通过滑动窗口方法生成大脑网络的动态功能连接矩阵。并对所有dFNC矩阵应用k-means聚类算法确定大脑网络连接模式,获得受试者脑网络的时间属性。最后,使用斯皮尔曼相关分析评估异常时间属性(时间分数、平均停留时间、转换次数)与酒精依赖量表(ADS)评分之间的关系。结果:最终将15例志愿者和12例AD患者纳入本研究,并通过聚类分析得到四种重复出现的功能连接状态。与对照组相比,AD组在弱连接状态下花费时间较长,但在中央执行网络和突显网络之间的强连接状态下花费时间较少(P均<0.05)。双样本t检验结果显示,AD患者中央控制网络内的IC38与IC49之间的功能连接显著增强(P<0.05,FDR校正)。结论:AD患者中央执行网络的功能连接发生了变化,本研究为探索酒精依赖的复杂神经病理学机制提供了一定的见解。
