Intensity enhancement of Raman active and forbidden modes induced by naturally occurred hot spot at GaAs edge

Edge structures are ubiquitous in the processing and fabrication of various optoelectronic *** physical properties and enhanced light–matter interactions are anticipated to occur at crystal edges due to the broken spatial translational ***,the intensity of first-order Raman scattering at crystal edges has been rarely explored,although the mechanical stress and edge characteristics have been thoroughly studied by the Raman peak shift and the spectral features of the edge-related Raman ***,by taking Ga As crystal with a well-defined edge as an example,we reveal the intensity enhancement of Raman-active modes and the emergence of Raman-forbidden modes under specific polarization configurations at the *** is attributed to the presence of a hot spot at the edge due to the redistributed electromagnetic fields and electromagnetic wave propagations of incident laser and Raman signal near the edge,which are confirmed by the finite-difference time-domain ***-resolved Raman intensities of both Raman-active and Raman-forbidden modes near the edge are calculated based on the redistributed electromagnetic fields,which quantitatively reproduce the corresponding experimental *** findings offer new insights into the intensity enhancement of Raman scattering at crystal edges and present a new avenue to manipulate light–matter interactions of crystal by manufacturing various types of edges and to characterize the edge structures in photonic and optoelectronic devices.

A Multiwavelength Study of the Jets in FR-I Radio Galaxies:*** and Analysis

We compile a sample of 11 Fanaroff-Riley type I Radio Galaxies （FR-I RGs） with multi-wavelength observations to address the dynamic behavior of jets in these objects. Optical images acquired by the Hubble Space Telescope （HST） are carefully analyzed. The method and reduction procedure are described in detail. Unresolved optical cores emerge after having properly removed starlight from the host galaxies in eight of the FR-I RGs, of which five are new identifications. Broad band spectral properties of these newly identified compact cores are compared with that previously found in FR-I RGs, as well as the low-energy-peaked BL Lac objects. The similarity between them argues for the same non-thermal synchrotron origin. Well-resolved optical jets with knotty morphologies are found in three FR-I RGs in our sample, namely 3C 15, 3C 66B and B2 0755＋37. The optical counterparts to the inner radio/X-ray jets are identified and a clear one-to-one correspondence between the optical, radio and X-ray knots is found. The structure and information on the optical jets are discussed. Physical parameters such as the knots position, flux and size are also presented. Detailed comparison between the multi-wavelength data and radiative and dynamic models of jet will be made in a forthcoming paper.

Spectral Matching Classification Method of Multi-State Similar Pigments Based on Feature Differences

The properties of the same pigments in murals are affected by different concentrations and particle diameters,which cause the shape of the spectral reflectance data curve to vary,thus influencing the outcome of matching *** paper proposes a spectral matching classification method of multi-state similar pigments based on feature *** principal component analysis(FPCA)was used to calculate the eigenvalue variance of pigment spectral reflectance,then applied to the original reflectance values for parameter *** first projected the original spectral reflectance from the spectral space to the characteristic variance space to identify the spectral ***,the relative distance between the eigenvalues in the eigen variance space is combined with the JS(Jensen-Shannon)divergence to express the difference between the two spectral *** JS information divergence calculates the relative distance between the *** results showthat our classification method can be used to identify the spectral curves of the same pigment under different *** value of the root means square error(RMSE)decreased by 12.0817,while the mean values of the mean absolute percentage error(MAPE)and R2 increased by 0.0965 and 0.2849,*** with the traditional spectral matching algorithm,the recognition error was effectively reduced.

Electronic structure and optical properties of plutonium dioxide from first-principles calculations

The electronic structure and optical properties of plutonium dioxide were calculated using the generalized gradient approximation with a Hubbard parameter U （GGA ＋ U） for considering the strong coulomb correlation between localized Pu of electrons based on the first-principles density functional theory. The calculated results show that PuO2 is a semiconductor material with the band gap of 1.8 eV, which is in good agreement with the corresponding experimental data. Furthermore, the dielectric function, reflectivity, refractive index, and extinction coefficient were calculated and analyzed using the Kramers-Kronig relationship for PuO2. The calculated results were compared with the experimental data from the published literature.

Predicting the cycle life of Lithium-Ion Batteries（LIBs） remains a great challenge due to their complicated degradation *** present work employs an interpretative machine learning of symbolic regression（SR） to discover an analytic formula for LIB life prediction with newly defined *** novel features are based on the discharging energies under the constant-current（CC） and constant-voltage（CV） modes at every five cycles *** cycle life is affected by the CC-discharging energy at the 15th cycle(E15-CCD) and the difference between the CC-discharging energies at the 45th cycle and 95th cycle(Δ45-95).The cycle life highly correlates with a simple indicator(E15-CCD-3)/Δ45-95with a Pearson correlation coefficient of *** machine learning tools provide a rapid and accurate prediction of cycle life at the early stage.

黄花刺茄(Solanum rostratum Dunal)是一种繁殖能力较强的外来入侵物种,对其进行监测和预报对于保护生态安全、为防治工作提供科学数据具有重要意义。为探究黄花刺茄在内蒙古的未来适生区变化,本研究通过对2种气候情景下(SSP126可持续发展路径、SSP585化石燃料常规发展路径)用MaxEnt模型对现在2020s及未来2050s和2070s的黄花刺茄在内蒙古的适生区进行了预测。结果显示:MaxEnt的训练集AUC(Area under curve)值为0.927,其中最暖季度平均降水量和最冷季度平均温度为影响黄花刺茄分布的主要气候变量;当代2020s的黄花刺茄主要集中在内蒙古的东部地区,未来2050s和2070s会向西部地区迁移;在SSP126气候情景下,黄花刺茄2050s适生面积为4.0371×10^(5) km^(2),2070s为5.5407×10^(5) km^(2);在SSP585气候情景下,黄花刺茄2050s适生面积达到5.8343×10^(5) km^(2),2070s为8.2609×10^(5) km^(2);SSP126下的黄花刺茄适生区扩增更慢。根据可持续发展的国家政策,SSP126气候情景更符合未来的适生区预测。

Numerical Solution of 3D Poisson-Nernst-Planck Equations Coupled with Classical Density Functional Theory for Modeling Ion and Electron Transport in a Confined Environment

We have developed efficient numerical algorithms for solving 3D steadystate Poisson-Nernst-Planck(PNP)equations with excess chemical potentials described by the classical density functional theory(cDFT).The coupled PNP equations are discretized by a finite difference scheme and solved iteratively using the Gummel method with *** Nernst-Planck equations are transformed into Laplace equations through the Slotboom ***,the algebraic multigrid method is applied to efficiently solve the Poisson equation and the transformed Nernst-Planck equations.A novel strategy for calculating excess chemical potentials through fast Fourier transforms is proposed,which reduces computational complexity from O(N2)to O(NlogN),where N is the number of grid *** involving the Dirac delta function are evaluated directly by coordinate transformation,which yields more accurate results compared to applying numerical quadrature to an approximated delta *** results for ion and electron transport in solid electrolyte for lithiumion(Li-ion)batteries are shown to be in good agreement with the experimental data and the results from previous studies.

Identification and Quantitative Analysis of Significantly Accumulated Proteins During the Arabidopsis Seedling De-etiolation Process

Proteomic analysis was performed on seedlings after different light treatments. A total of （1 350±31） protein spots was separated and visualized on each silver nitrate-stained two-dimensional gel using protein samples prepared from light-grown or etiolated seedlings with or without 6-9 h light treatment. Twenty-five protein spots （encoded by 19 genes） that were significantly accumulated upon light treatment were identified using the matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry method. Functional proteomics indicated that these proteins involved mainly in chloroplast development, energy metabolism, cell cycle progression and membrane electron transport. For 18 of the protein-coding genes we identified through an internet search, the transcript levels of 17 genes matched roughly with their protein content in etiolated and green seedlings, suggesting that these genes were regulated by light mainly at the transcriptional level. Despite a very significant increase in the amount of proteins upon light treatment, similar RNA levels were found in dark-grown or green seedlings for the carbonic anhydrase gene At3g05100, indicating a possible post-transcriptional regulatory mechanism. Elucidation of light-induced protein accumulation will undoubtedly enhance our understanding of plant photomorphogenesis.

近年交通拥堵已成为制约城市经济发展的重要问题,利用深度强化学习(Deep Reinforcement Learning,DRL)对交通信号灯进行自适应控制是缓解交通拥堵的研究热点。针对决斗双重深度Q网络(Dueling Double Deep Q-Network,D3QN)算法在交通信号控制中存在的样本利用率低、学习速度慢,以及路网状态信息复杂且灵活性差等问题,基于非均匀划分道路的离散交通状态编码(Discrete Traffic State Encode,DTSE)方法,提出一种D3PQN2交通信号控制算法。该算法在D3QN算法基础上引入噪声网络、优先级经验回放技术来提高样本的利用效率以及学习速度,通过噪声扰动代替传统的ε-贪婪策略,使得算法能够更快更好地收敛到全局最优解。以扬州市文昌路和扬子江路交叉口为例,在Weibull分布生成的车流下进行实验,结果表明,改进后的算法相较于对抗深度Q网络(Dueling Deep Q-Network,Dueling DQN)算法和固定配时的控制方法,车辆平均排队长度分别减少了12.11%和67.44%,累计延误时间分别减少了13.89%和42.88%,具有更好的控制效果。
