Central venous oxygen saturation changes as a reliable predictor of the change of CI in septic shock:To explore potential influencing factors

Purpose:Assessing fluid responsiveness relying on central venous oxygen saturation(ScvO_(2))yields varied outcomes across several *** study aimed to determine the ability of the change in ScvO_(2)(ΔScvO_(2))to detect fluid responsiveness in ventilated septic shock patients and potential influencing ***:In this prospective,single-center study,all patients conducted from February 2023 to January 2024 received fluid *** consumption was measured by indirect calorimetry,and fluid responsiveness was defined as an increase in cardiac index(CI)≥10%measured by transthoracic *** linear regression analysis was conducted to evaluate the impact of oxygen consumption,arterial oxygen saturation,CI,and hemoglobin on ScvO_(2)and its change before and after fluid *** Shapiro-Wilk test was used for the normality of continuous *** comparison between fluid responders and non-responders was conducted using a two-tailed Student t-test,Mann Whitney U test,and Chi-square *** t-tests were used for normally distributed data,while the Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used for skewed data,to compare data before and after fluid ***:Among 49 patients(31 men,aged(59±18)years),27 were *** patients had an acute physiology and chronic health evaluation II score of 24±8,a sequential organ failure assessment score of 11±4,and a blood lactate level of(3.2±3.1)mmol/L at *** the fluid challenge,theΔScvO_(2)(mmHg)in the responders was greater than that in the non-responders(4±6 vs.1±3,p=0.019).Multivariate linear regression analysis suggested that CI was the only independent influencing factor of ScvO_(2),with R2=0.063,p=*** the fluid challenge,the change in CI became the only contributing factor toΔScvO_(2)(R2=0.245,p<0.001).ΔScvO_(2)had a good discriminatory ability for the responders and non-responders with a threshold of 4.4%(area under the curve=0.732,p=0.006).Conclusion:ΔScvO

创新驱动发展新质生产力实现共同富裕的新时代背景下,作为“活源之水”的劳动力跨区流动对区域收入差距产生深刻影响,并随技术创新水平而发生“质”的变化。本文以技术创新水平为门槛变量,选取2003—2022年中国省级面板数据为样本,通过构建非线性面板门槛模型实证检验劳动力流动、技术创新水平与区域间收入差距关系。研究发现:劳动力流动对区域收入差距呈现倒“U”型关系。当技术创新水平低于门槛值,劳动力流动显著扩大区域间收入差距;当达到门槛值,劳动力流动对区域间收入差距具有收敛效应,呈现区域异质性;当跨过门槛值,东、北部沿海发达地区的劳动力流出和东北、大西北欠发达地区的劳动力流入驱使区域间收入差距缩小。由此,顺应劳动力流动趋势、消除劳动力流动壁垒、缩小区域间技术创新势差是缩小区域间收入差距,靶向共同富裕的有效路径。

Anisotropy of the apparent resistivity variation rate near the epicentral region for strong earthquakes

The apparent resistivity data of 11 stations observed in or near the epicentral regions for 6 strong earthquakes are processed by the normalized monthly rate method. The result show that in the medium-short and short-imminent terms of earthquake preparation the variation rate of apparent resistivity perpendicular (or near perpendicular) to the direction of maximum principal stress is greater than that parallel (or near parallel) to the direction. Such an-isotropic phenomenon is interpreted as follow: the predominant alignment of cracks containing conductive fluid in the maximum principal stress direction caused the anisotropy of the fluid migration during the dilatancy process in the late period of earthquake preparation and resulted in the anisotropy of true resistivity variation rate for rock (or solid) medium which induced the variation rate anisotropy of apparent resistivity on the ground. The study of this paper provides some seismic examples to show the apparent resistivity anisotropy which may be helpful to study the stress status in or near the source zone in the late period of earthquake preparation of strong events.

Dexterity Analysis for Omni-directional Wheeled Mobile Manipulator Based on Double Quaternion

The unified analysis of omni-directional wheeled mobile manipulator(OWMM) through the dimensionally nonhomogeneous Jacobian matrix may lead to unreliable results. The existing researches focus on the integrated performance evaluation of OWMM, without taking the influence of velocity difference into consideration. This paper presents a new approach to formulate the dimensionally homogeneous Jacobian matrix and a new index for OWMM. First, the universal transformational matrix of the link coordinate frame is derived based on double quaternion. The degree of locomotion of a mobile platform and the degrees of manipulation of a manipulator are treated equally as the joints of a redundant composite robot. Then the integrated modeling of OWMM is established, and the non-dimensional Jacobian matrix is obtained from the above matrix. Next, by examining the concept of directional manipulability, a new index is proposed to evaluate the directional manipulability of OWMM along the specified task direction. Furthermore, for the same task and the time of simulation, the kinematic performance of the fixed base operation of the manipulator and the operation of OWMM are analyzed by numerical simulation. The results suggest that the proposed approach is equivalent to the method of traditional kinematic modeling, with the error of numerical solution being 10-7 , and the varying frequency of DMTR is higher than that of the condition number. This indicates that DMTR is more effective to reflect the variation of the task direction. The proposed method can be used to analyze the manipulating capability of OWMM, and has a simple structure and generality in the unified analysis of OWMM.

Investigation of Hydrolysis in Poly(ethylene terephthalate) by FTIR-ATR

The hydrothermal aging of poly（ethylene terephthalate）（PET） was investigated at 70-95 ℃. A new method to investigate the hydrolysis degree of PET by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FTIR） was proposed. The spectra during the hydrothermal aging were measured using attenuated total reflection accessory （ATR）. Peak resolving of carbonyl regions was performed, and the ratio of two groups of bands representing carboxylic acids and esters respectively were calculated to show the hydrolysis degree of ester groups in PET. The acid/ester ratio shows exactly the same trend as the average chain scission number per unit mass at various temperatures and thus can be used as a parameter to characterize the hydrolysis and random chain scission of PET. This method related to the hydrolysis mechanism directly, is simple, fast and convenient compared to the traditional methods such as viscometry, end-group titration and size exclusion chromatography （SEC）. It may also be useful in hydrolysis characterization of other polyesters.

Hybrid optimization for charge planning problem in twin strands continuous casting production

Charge planning is one of batching problems for steelmaking and continuous casting production,and its optimization will be conducive to subsequent cast *** planning problem in the twin strands continuous casting production was studied,where casting width of the odd strand might be different from that of the even *** the different widths in the twin strands,the resulting counterweights and the constraints of steelmaking and continuous casting,a multiobjective optimization model was established to minimize the number of charges,the number of scale pairs,the surplus and the upgrading costs of steel ***,a hybrid optimization algorithm combined with heuristic and mutation-based estimation of distribution algorithm was proposed to solve the *** were conducted on several groups of test data collected from practical production orders of *** computational results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can generate better solutions than the manual *** proposed model and algorithm proved to be effective and practical.

BACKGROUND:Emergency patients with sepsis or septic shock are at high risk of *** increasing attention to microhemodynamics,the clinical use of advanced microcirculatory assessment is limited due to its *** blood gas analysis is a widely used technique reflecting global oxygen supply and consumption,it may serve as a surrogate for microcirculation monitoring in septic ***:We performed a search using PubMed,Web of Science,and Google *** studies and reviews that were most relevant to septic microcirculatory dysfunctions and blood gas parameters were identified and ***:Based on the pathophysiology of oxygen metabolism,the included articles provided a general overview of employing blood gas analysis and its derived set of indicators for microhemodynamic monitoring in septic *** flaws,several parameters are linked to changes in the microcirculation.A comprehensive interpretation of blood gas parameters can be used in order to achieve hemodynamic optimization in septic ***:Blood gas analysis in combination with clinical performance is a reliable alternative for microcirculatory assessments.A deep understanding of oxygen metabolism in septic settings may help emergency physicians to better use blood gas analysis in the evaluation and treatment of sepsis and septic shock.
