The heat flow in crust and the thermal stress generated by the flow play a very important role in earthquake occurrence. Different crustal structure has different effect on heat distribution and associated thermal stress. In all of typical seismogenic crustal structure models, including the bulge of Moho surface, the deep-large fault in the mid-lower crust, low-velocity and high-conductive layer in the middle crust, and the typical crustal structure in mid-upper crust, the thermal stress produced by deep heat disturbance may move up to the mid-upper crest. This leads to upper brittle part of crust break and hence, strong earthquakes. This result is constructive in enhancing our understanding of the role of deep fieat flow in curst in development of earthquake and its generation, as well as the generation mechanism of the shallow flowing fluid.

On the basis of the textual research on the historical earthquake data and the field investigation of Wudu earthquake occurred in 186 B.C., we suggest that the earthquake parameters drawn from the present earthquake catalogs are not definite and amendments should be made. The heavily-damaged area of this earthquake should be located between Jugan township of Wudu County and Pingding township of Zhouqu County. Its epicenter should be in the vicinity of Lianghekou in Wudu County with a magnitude of about 7-7 1/4 and an intensity of about IX-X. The major axis direction of the heavily-damaged area should be in the WNW direction that is approximately consistent with the strike of the middle-east segment of Diebu-Bailongjiang active fault zone, and the origin time should match up to that of the latest paleoearthquake event [before （83±46） B.C.] obtained by the trench investigation. Certain seismic rupture evidences are still preserved on this fault segment. Therefore, we propose on the basis of comprehensive analysis that the causative structure of the M 7-7 1/4 Wudu earthquake in 186 B.C. should be in the middle-east segment of Diebu-Bailongjiang active fault zone.

To achieve the resource utilization of solid waste phosphogypsum(PG)and tackle the problem of utilizing potassium feldspar(PF),a coupled synergistic process between PG and PF is proposed in this *** study investigates the features of P and F in PG,and explores the decomposition of PF using hydrofluoric acid(HF)in the sulfuric acid system for K leaching and leaching of P and F in *** impact factors such as sulfuric acid concentration,reaction temperature,reaction time,material ratio(PG/PF),liquid–solid ratio,PF particle size,and PF calcination temperature on the leaching of P and K is systematically investigated in this *** results show that under optimal conditions,the leaching rate of K and P reach more than 93%and 96%,*** study using shrinking core model(SCM)indicates two significant stages with internal diffusion predominantly controlling the leaching of *** apparent activation energies of these two stages are 11.92.kJ·mol^(-1)and 11.55 kJ·mol^(-1),respectively.

Lipid nanoparticles(LNPs) have gained clinical approval as carriers for both siRNA and mRNA. Among the crucial components of LNPs, ionizable lipids play a pivotal role in determining the efficiency of RNA delivery. In this study, we synthesized a series of ionizable lipids, denoted as HTO, with a higher count of hydroxyl groups compared to SM-102. Remarkably, LNPs based on HTO12.lipid demonstrated comparable mRNA delivery efficiency and biosafety to those based on SM-102. However, the former reduced the ratio of ionizable lipid/total lipids to mRNA in LNPs by 2.5 times compared to SM-102. The HTO12.LNP efficiently encapsulated adenine base editor mRNA and sgRNA targeting Pcsk9, leading to substantial gene editing within the liver of mice and effective reduction of the target protein. Our study underscores that ionizable lipids with multiple hydroxyl groups may facilitate an improved lipid-to-mRNA ratio to minimize the dosage of ionizable lipids for in vivo delivery.

QDs with N,S codoped carbon fiber network remarkably decreases the adsorption energies of Na/K atoms in the interlayer of SnO_(2.-CFN,and the S doping can increase the conductivity of SnO_(2.,thereby enhancing the ion transfer *** synergistic interaction between S-SnO_(2. QDs and N,S codoped carbon fiber network results in a composite with fast Na+/K+storage and extraordinary long-term ***,the S-SnO_(2.-CFN delivers high rate capacities of 141.0 mAh g^(−1) at 2. Ruichang-Yangxin earthquake is another moderate earthquake in Yangxin-Jiujiang area since 2.05 Jiujiang-Ruichang M5.7 earthquake. In order to more understand the seismic activities in this area, we study the moment tensor solution and the seismogenic structure of the Ruichang-Yangxin earthquake. Precise earthquake relocation shows that the mainshock occurred on the southwestern part of the NE-trending fault and aftershocks are distributed not only along the NE-trending fault but also along its conjugated NW-trending fault. By comprehensive analysis on the earthquake distribution, characteristics of isoseismal curve, focal mechanism, and regional structure characteristics, it is inferred that this earthquake is caused by the NE-trending Tanlu fault. In addition, it has close relationship with the conjugated NW-trending fault as well. Many researches have shown that the junction area is the earthquake-prone area, and should be paid more attention to. And our study also proves this viewpoint.

Based on GPS measurements conducted from 1992.to 2.06, we present the current crustal movement velocity field for approximately 400 sites in the Tianshan Mountains and their adjacent areas, and estimate slip rates on the major faults using a 2.D elastic dislocation model. Our studies show slip rates within the range of 1―4 mm/a on the NW-SE trending strike-slip faults (such as Talas-Fergana fault) in the Tianshan Mountains. We also found the slip rates on the approximately WE-SN trending gently-dipping detachment fault vary from 10―13 mm/a for the southwest Tianshan Mountains to 2.5 mm/a for the eastern Tianshan Mountains, and to 6―12.mm/a for the Kyrgrz Tianshan. The GPS velocity field reveals that the total convergence is not uniformly distributed across the Tianshan Mountains, with 80%―90% of the N-S shortening absorbed along the southern and northern edges, and relatively little deformation accommodated within the interior. This first-order feature of strain pattern is explained best by underthrusting of adjacent blocks beneath the Tianshan Mountains along a basal detachment fault. We found the occurrence of historical M7―8 earthquakes somewhere in the locked ramp that connects the creeping and locking segments of the detachment, thereby resulting in elastic strain concentration and accumulation around it. The elastic strain confined in the upper crustal layer above the detachment ultimately releases through infrequent great earthquakes in the Tianshan Mountains, resulting in considerable folding and faulting at their margins. The Tianshan Mountains propagated outward and rose progressively as a wedge-shaped block.

Bitcoin is a decentralized P2. *** supports users to use pseudonyms instead of network addresses to send and receive transactions at the data layer,hiding users'real network *** transaction tracing attack cuts through the network layer to directly associate each transaction with the network address that issued it,thus revealing the sender's network *** this attack can be mitigated by Bitcoin's network layer privacy *** Bitcoin protects the unlinkability of Bitcoin addresses and there may be a many-to-one relation-ship between addresses and nodes,transactions sent from the same node via different addresses are seen as com-ing from different nodes because attackers can only use addresses as node *** this paper,we proposed the evicting and flling attack to expose the correlations between addresses and cluster transactions sent from different addresses of the same *** attack exploited the unisolation of Bitcoin's incoming connection processing *** particular,an attacker can utilize the shared connection pool and deterministic connection eviction strategy to infer the correlation between incoming and evicting connections,as well as the correlation between releasing and flling *** on inferred results,different addresses of the same node with these connections can be linked together,whether they are of the same or different network *** designed a multi-step attack procedure,and set reasonable attack parameters through analyzing the factors that affect the attack effciency and *** mounted this attack on both our self-run nodes and multi-address nodes in real Bitcoin network,achieving an aver-age accuracy of 96.9% and 82.,***,we found that the attack is also applicable to Zcash,Litecoin,Dogecoin,Bitcoin Cash,and *** analyzed the cost of network-wide attacks,the application scenario,and proposed countermeasures of this attack.
