Microplastics(MPs)become ubiquitous in soil and are an environmental and public health concern ***,the status of MPs in natural and farmland soils in remote areas remains poorly *** this study,we investigated the characteristics of MPs in natural and farmland soils along two transects in the Qilian Mountains of the northern Tibetan *** average abundance of MPs in natural and farmland soils was 29,778 and 56,123 items kg^(-1),respectively,with a detection size range of 10-1000μ*** in the size range of 10-100μm accounted for 84.1%of particles *** the 21 polymers detected,polyethylene dominated in both farmland and natural *** shape of MPs was dominated by fragments(95.8%),followed by fibers(3.8%)and beads(0.4%).The abundance of MPs was positively correlated with increasing altitude in natural *** was no significant correlation between the abundance of MPs and soil physicochemical properties due to the narrow range of values of soil physicochemical *** the growing concern regarding MPs pollution,research on the status of MPs in high altitude and remote areas is critical to understanding their global cycle.

How to mine valuable information from massive multisource heterogeneous data and identify the intention of aerial targets is a major research focus at present. Aiming at the longterm dependence of air target intention recognition, this paper deeply explores the potential attribute features from the spatiotemporal sequence data of the target. First, we build an intelligent dynamic intention recognition framework, including a series of specific processes such as data source, data preprocessing,target space-time, convolutional neural networks-bidirectional gated recurrent unit-atteneion (CBA) model and intention recognition. Then, we analyze and reason the designed CBA model in detail. Finally, through comparison and analysis with other recognition model experiments, our proposed method can effectively improve the accuracy of air target intention recognition,and is of significance to the commanders’ operational command and situation prediction.

Reducing CO_(2)emissions of the iron and steel industry,a typical heavy CO_(2)-emitting sector is the only way that must be passed to achieve the‘dual-carbon’goal,especially in *** previous studies,however,it is still unknown what is the difference between blast furnace basic oxygen furnace(BF-BOF),scrap-electric furnace(scrap-EF)and hydrogen metallurgy *** quantitative research on the key factors affecting CO_(2)emissions is insufficient There is also a lack of research on the prediction of CO_(2)emissions by adjusting industria *** on material flow analysis,this study establishes carbon flow diagrams o three processes,and then analyze the key factors affecting CO_(2)***_(2)emissions of the iron and steel industry in the future is predicted by adjusting industrial structure The results show that:(1)The CO_(2)emissions of BF-BOF,scrap-EF and hydrogen metallurgy process in a site are 1417.26,542.93 and 1166.52 kg,respectively.(2)By increasing pellet ratio in blast furnace,scrap ratio in electric furnace,etc.,can effectively reduce CO_(2)emissions(3)Reducing the crude steel output is the most effective CO_(2)reduction *** is still 5.15×10^(8)-6.17×10^(8) tons of CO_(2)that needs to be reduced by additional measures.

The memristor is the building block of neuromorphic computing. We report a new type of nanofluidic memristor based on the principle of elastic strain on polymer nanopores. With nanoparticles absorbed at the wall of a single conical polymer nanopore, we find a pinched hysteresis of the current within a scanning frequency range of 0.01–0.1 Hz, switching to a diode below 0.01 Hz and a resistor above 0.1 Hz. We attribute the current hysteresis to the elastic strain at the tip side of the nanopore, caused by electrical force on the particles adsorbed at the inner wall surface. Our simulation and analytical equations match well with experimental results, with a phase diagram for predicting the system transitions. We demonstrate the plasticity of our nanofluidic memristor to be similar to a biological synapse. Our findings pave a new way for ionic neuromorphic computing using nanofluidic memristors.

The lack of effective charge transfer driving force and channel limits the electron directional migration in nanoclusters(NC)-based heterostructures,resulting in poor photocatalytic ***,a Z-scheme NC-based heterojunction(Pt1Ag28-BTT/CoP,BTT=1,3,5-benzenetrithiol)with strong internal electric field is constructed via interfacial Co-S bond,which exhibits an absolutely superiority in photocatalytic performance with 24.89 mmol·h^(−1)·g−1 H_(2)production rate,25.77%apparent quantum yield at 420 nm,and~100%activity retention in stability,compared with Pt1Ag28-BDT/CoP(BDT=1,3-benzenedithiol),Ag29-BDT/CoP,and *** enhanced catalytic performance is contributed by the dual modulation strategy of inner core and outer shell of NC,wherein,the center Pt single atom doping regulates the band structure of NC to match well with CoP,builds internal electric field,and then drives photogenerated electrons steering;the accurate surface S modification promotes the formation of Co-S atomic-precise interface channel for further high-efficient Z-scheme charge directional *** work opens a new avenue for designing NC-based heterojunction with matchable band structure and valid interfacial charge transfer.

A four-band index for both liquid and solid water and its applications in the Aral Sea Basin

Various investigations have been conducted to analyze the water-coverage area of the Aral Sea and the Aral Sea Basin(ASB). However, the investigations incorporated considerable uncertainty and the used water indices had misclassification problem, which made different research groups present different results. Thus we first ascertain the boundaries of the ASB, the Syr and Amu river basins as well as their upper, middle and lower reaches. Then a four-band index for both liquid and solid water(ILSW) is proposed to address the misclassification problems of the classic water indices. ILSW is calculated by using the reflectance values of the green, red, near infrared, and thermal infrared bands, which combines the normalized difference water index(NDWI) and land surface temperature(LST) together. Validation results show that the ILSW water index has the highest accuracy by far in the Aral Sea Basin. Our results indicate that annual average decline of the water-coverage area was 963 km^(2) in the southern Aral Sea, whereas the northern Aral Sea has experienced little change. In the meanwhile, permanent ice and snow in upper reach of ASB has retreated considerably. Annual retreating rates of the permanent ice and snow were respectively 6233and 3841 km^(2) in upper reaches of Amu river basin(UARB) and Syr river basin(USRB). One of major reasons is that climate has become warmer in ASB. The climate change has caused serious water deficit problem. The water deficit had an increasing trend since the 1990s and its increasing rates was 3.778 billion m^(3) yearly on average. The total water deficit was 76.967 billion m^(3) on average in the whole area of ASB in the 2010s. However, up reaches of Syr river basin(USRB), a component area of ASB, had water surplus of 25.461 billion m^(3). These conclusions are useful for setting out a sustainable development strategy in ASB.

Using non-toxic,low-volatile glyoxal to completely replace formaldehyde for preparing urea-glyoxal(UG)resin adhesive is a hot research topic that could be of great interest for the wood ***,urea-glyoxal(UG)resins prepared by just using glyoxal instead of formaldehyde usually yields a lower degree of *** results in a poorer bonding performance and water resistance of UG resins.A good solution is to pre-react urea to preform polyurea molecules presenting already a certain degree of polymerization,and then to condense these with glyoxal to obtain a novel UG ***,in this present work,the urea was reacted with hexamethylene diamine to form a polyurea named HU,and then this was used to react it with different amounts of glyoxal to synthesize hexamethylenediamine-urea-glyoxal(HUG)polycondensation resins,and to use this for bonding *** results show that the glyoxal can well react with HU polyuria via addition and schiff base reaction,and also the HUG resin exhibits excellent bonding strength and water *** shear strength of the plywood bonded with this HUG at 160°C hot press temperature as high as 1.93 MPa,2.16 MPa and 1.61 MPa,respectively,which meets the requirement of the China national standard GB/T 9846-2015(≥0.7 MPa),and can be a good choice as a wood adhesive for industrial application.

The final product quality is determined by cumulation, coupling and propagation of product quality variations from all stations in multi-stage manufacturing systems （MMSs）. Modeling and control of variation propagation is essential to improve product quality. However, the current stream of variations （SOV） theory can only solve the problem that a single SOV affects the product quality. due to the existence of multiple variation streams, limited research has been done on the quality control in serial-parallel hybrid multi-stage manufacturing systems （SPH-MMSs）. A state space model and its modeling strategies are developed to describe the multiple variation streams stack-up in an SPH-MMS. The SOV theory is extended to SPH-MMS. The dimensions of system model are reduced to the production-reality level, and the effect and feasibility of the model is validated by a machining case.
