Recent studies for computer vision and deep learning-based,post-earthquake inspections on RC structures mainly perform well for specific tasks,while the trained models must be fine-tuned and re-trained when facing new tasks and datasets,which is inevitably *** study proposes a multi-task learning approach that simultaneously accomplishes the semantic segmentation of seven-type structural components,three-type seismic damage,and four-type deterioration *** proposed method contains a CNN-based encoder-decoder backbone subnetwork with skip-connection modules and a multi-head,task-specific recognition *** backbone subnetwork is designed to extract multi-level features of post-earthquake RC *** multi-head,task-specific recognition subnetwork consists of three individual self-attention pipelines,each of which utilizes extracted multi-level features from the backbone network as a mutual guidance for the individual segmentation task.A synthetical loss function is designed with real-time adaptive coefficients to balance multi-task losses and focus on the most unstably fluctuating *** experiments and comparative studies are further conducted to demonstrate their effectiveness and *** results show that the proposed method can simultaneously recognize different structural components,seismic damage,and deterioration states,and that the overall performance of the three-task learning models gains general improvement when compared to all single-task and dual-task models.

A series of AlxCrFe2 Ni2 Mo0.2 alloy consisting of FCC+BCC phases have been designed,and their as-cast microstructures and mechanical properties were also investigated with x ranging from 0.6 to *** was found that with the addition of Al element,the solidified structures changed from dendrite to columnar crystal then back to dendrite ***,the increased amount of BCC phase resulted in finer and more uniform microstructures of FCC[FeCrNi(Mo)]and BCC(Al-Ni)*** yield strength and hardness of alloys showed a similar increasing trend as the volume fraction of BCC phase *** strain hardening rate and strain hardening exponent were calculated to assess the tensile properties of the *** was shown that A10.6CrFe2 Ni2 Mo0.2 exhibited the most excellent and comprehensive mechanical properties due to its high work hardening ability and stable strain hardening *** product of strength and elongation of Al0.6CrFe2 Ni2 Mo0.2reached up to 38.6 GPa%,which was higher than most of the reported as-cast high-entropy alloys.

To isolate and culture the porcine pancreatic stem cells and investigate their function, the fetal porcine pancreatic stem cells were isolated by the method of suspending plus adhering culture. The isolated cells were then identified by immunohistochemical staining, and their culture viability measured through the MTT method in vitro. This induced them to differentiate into endocrine cells and detect their function. The isolated IPSCS did not express nestin, but expressed CK-19, a marker of ductal epithelia cells and ct-actin, a smooth muscle marker, demonstrating the growth characteristics of ES-like cells, and strong proliferative ability, after 18 passages. They could excrete insulin, and showed ultrastructure changes after being induced. Porcine pancreatic stem cells can be isolated by this method, induced to form islet-like clusters, and can secret insulin.

Data hierarchy,as a hidden property of data structure,exists in a wide range of machine learning applications.A common practice to classify such hierarchical data is first to encode the data in the Euclidean space,and then train a Euclidean ***,such a paradigm leads to a performance drop due to distortion of data embedding in the Euclidean *** relieve this issue,hyperbolic geometry is investigated as an alternative space to encode the hierarchical data for its higher ability to capture the hierarchical *** methods cannot explore the full potential of the hyperbolic geometry,in the sense that such methods define the hyperbolic operations in the tangent plane,causing the distortion of data *** this paper,we develop two novel kernel formulations in the hyperbolic space,with one being positive definite(PD)and another one being indefinite,to solve the classification tasks in hyperbolic *** PD one is defined via mapping the hyperbolic data to the Drury-Arveson(DA)space,which is a special reproducing kernel Hilbert space(RKHS).To further increase the discrimination of the classifier,an indefinite kernel is further defined in the Krein ***,we design a 2-layer nested indefinite kernel which first maps hyperbolic data into the DA spaces,followed by a mapping from the DA spaces to the Krein *** experiments on real-world datasets demonstrate the superiority ofthe proposed kernels.

TAKAP: A Lightweight Three-Party Authenticated Key Agreement Protocol with User Anonymity

The three-party authenticated key agreement protocol is a significant cryptographic mechanism for secure communication, which encourages two entities to authenticate each other and generate a shared session key with the assistance of a trusted party(remote server) via a public channel. Recently, Wang et al. put forward a three-party key agreement protocol with user anonymity and alleged that their protocol is able to resist all kinds of attacks and provide multifarious security features in Computer Engineering & Science, No.3, ***, we show that Wang et al.’s protocol is vulnerable to the password guessing attack and fails to satisfy user anonymity and perfect secrecy. To solve the aforementioned problems, a lightweight chaotic mapbased Three-party authenticated key agreement protocol(short for TAKAP) is proposed, which not only could provide privacy protection but also resist a wide variety of security attacks. Furthermore, it is formally proved under Burrows-Abadi-Needham(BAN) logic. Simultaneously,the performance analysis in this paper demonstrates that the proposed TAKAP protocol is more secure and efficient compared with other relevant protocols.

This study aims to analysis the influence of economic growth(EG)and energy consumption(EC)on sulfur dioxide emissions(SE)in ***,this study explores the link between EG,EC,and SE for 30 provinces in China over the span of *** study also analyzes cross-sectional dependence tests,panel unit root tests,Westerlund panel cointegration tests,Dumitrescu-Hurlin(D-H)causality *** to the test results,there is an inverted U-shaped association between EG and SE,and the assumption of the Environmental Kuznets Curve(EKC)is *** signs of EG and EC in the fixed effect(FE)and random effect(RE)methods are in line with those in the dynamic ordinary least squares(DOLS),fully modified ordinary least squares(FMOLS)and autoregressive distributed lag(ARDL)***,the results verified that EC can obviously positive impact the *** reduce SE in China,government and policymakers can improve air quality by developing cleaner energy sources and improving energy *** requires the comprehensive use of policies,regulations,economic incentives,and public participation to promote sustainable development.
