Forward modeling to improve seismic reflection energy of a protective coal seam based on Zoeppritz equation

In seismic exploration for coal, seismic waves are very difficult to transmit downward because of high velocity protective layers, making the reflection information very hard to receive above ground. Based on the Snell law and the Zoeppritz equation, we studied the relationship between the incidence angle and reflection seismic wave energy using a forward model of level media. The result shows that the seismic wave energy has a sudden increase at the critical angle. Based on the energy propagation rule, using big offset to receive the seismic wave energy under a protective layer can effectively reduce its protection effect.

We investigate the torque on a specially shaped rotator produced by a vortex *** formulas for the torque along x,y and z directions axe derived,and numerical calculation is *** is found that for the specially shaped rotator,the torque brought by the Laguerre-Gauss (LG) vortex beam is dependent upon the angle of the facet for each part of the rotator,and the topological charge of the vortex *** is shown that torque is generated from both the light momentum and orbital angular momentum (OAM) of the incident vortex beam,indicating that we can control the rotation of the rotator by modulating the OAM of the incident light beam.

We studied the activation of β2-adrenergic receptor（β2AR） by norepinephrine, epinephrine and isoprote- renol using docking and molecular dynamics（MD） simulation. The simulation was done on the assumption that β2AR was surrounded with explicit water and infinite lipid bilayer membrane at body temperature. So the result should be close to that under the physiological conditions. We calculated the structure of binding sites in β2AR for the three ac- tivators. We also simulated the change of the conformation ofβ2AR in the transmembrane regions（TMs）, in the mo- lecular switches, and in the conserved DRY（Aspartic acid, Arginine and Tyrosine） motif. This study provides detailed information concerning the structure ofβ2AR during activation process.

The synthesis of novel 1-arylsulfonyl -4- （1＇-N -2＇, 3＇, 4＇, 6＇-tetra-O-acetyl-β-D-gluco- pyranosyl） thiosemicarbazides via condensation of 2, 3, 4, 6-tetra-O-acetyl-β-D-glucopyranosyl isothiocyanate with substituted phenylsulfonyl hydrazines was described. Their structures and physical properties were confirmed by ^1H NMR, ^13C NMR spectra, elemental analysis and MS.

Probiotics improve survival of septic rats by suppressing conditioned pathogens in ascites

AIM: To investigate the benefits of probiotics treatment in septic rats. METHODS: The septic rats were induced by cecal ligation and puncture. The animals of control, septic model and probiotics treated groups were treated with vehicle and mixed probiotics, respectively. The mixture of probiotics included Bifidobacterium longum , Lacto-bacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus . We observed the survival of septic rats using different amounts of mixed probiotics. We also detected the bacterial population in ascites and blood of experimental sepsis using cultivation and real-time polymerase chain reaction. The severity of mucosal inflammation in colonic tissues was determined. RESULTS: Probiotics treatment improved survival of the rats significantly and this effect was dose dependent. The survival rate was 30% for vehicle-treated septic model group. However, 1 and 1/4 doses of probiotics treatment increased survival rate significantly comparedwith septic model group (80% and 55% vs 30%, P li and Staphy-lococcus aureus in ascites of probiotics treated group were decreased significantly compared with that of septic model group (3.93 ± 0.73vs 8.80 ± 0.83,P li and Staphylococcus aureus may be primary pathogens in septic rats. Probiotics improve survival of septic rats by suppressing these conditioned pathogens.

AIM: To investigate the relationship between autophagy and calcification in vascular smooth muscle cells( VSMCs) after plateletderived growth factor( PDGF)-BB stimulation. METHODS: Cultured VSMCs were stimulated with PDGF-BB for different time,the expression of vascular calcification-related proteins and autophagy-related proteins were detected by Western blot. The interaction between Beclin1 and PI3KC3 was detected by co-immunoprecipitation. RESULTS: The expression of BMP2 and ALP showed a trend from decline to rise. ALP slumped at 12 h,and BMP2 slumped at 6 h. Moreover,the expression of Beclin-1 showed a trend from rise to decline,and peaked at 12 h. The conversion of LC3-Ⅰto Ⅱ increased in a time-dependent manner,and peaked at 24 h. The expression of BMP2 and ALP was increased in VSMCs incubated with PDGF-BB and autophagy inhibitor 3-MA,compared with PDGFBB-stimulated VSMCs. Furthermore,the interaction between Beclin1 and PI3KC3 was enhanced at 6 h after PDGF-BB stimulated,peaked at 12 h,and kept in high level at 24 h. Moreover,the phosphorylation level of Beclin1 was enhanced by PDGF-BB stimulation,and peaked at 6 h. CONCLUSION: Our findings demonstrate that PDGF-BB-induced autophagy inhibits VSMC calcification by enhancing Beclin1 phosphorylation and interaction between Beclin1 and PI3KC3.

At last, the following conclusion is drawn： It is just this abnormal maternity that leads to the governess＇ self-destruction.

The synergistic interaction between the cationic guar gum (the ammonium hydroxy-propyl-trimethyl chloride of guar gum) and sodium alginate has been studied. The effects of the mass ratio of them, mixed temperature, balk salt ion concentration, incubation time and pH value on gelation were investigated. It has been observed that there was a gel strength maximum when the mass ratio was 0.6, the mixed temperature was 70°C, the balk salt ion concentration was 1.0 mol·L?1, the incubation time was 30 min and the pH value was 8. Interaction between molecules of these two polysaccharides was investigated by FT-IR spectrometry.
