Kin selection theory predicts that individuals should generally behave less aggressively or more amicably towards relatives than ***,how individuals treat conspecifics depends on genetic relatedness but also on the ecological context,which influences the benefits and costs of their *** this study,we used microsatellite DNA markers and behavioral tests to examine the influence of kinship and proximity on the social behavior of Mongolian gerbils Meriones unguiculatus living in different social groups,and whether these effects varied with sex and *** recorded the duration of 4 behavioral categories(investigative,neutral,amicable,and agonistic)during a 10-min pairwise *** found that genetic relatedness had significant effects on the duration of investigative,neutral,and amicable behavior,but not on agonistic *** also found significant interaction effects of relatedness and distance between burrow systems(i.e.,spatial distance)on investigative,neutral,and amicable behavior,which suggests that the effects of kinship on social behavior were restricted by spatial *** interaction effect between sex and relatedness on amicable behavior showed that male gerbils became more intimate with individuals of the same sex that had higher pairwise relatedness than ***,both male and female gerbils enhanced their aggression during the food-hoarding season,but the intensity of these changes was significantly higher in ***,our results suggest that the effects of kinship and spatial proximity on social behavior exhibit sexual or seasonal patterns,thereby implying ecological context-dependent responses to out-group individuals in Mongolian gerbils.

在新发展格局下,现代产业发展更加注重发展和安全的平衡。本文采用2005—2018年的数据分析了中国各行业面临的汇率风险暴露和国外产业竞争。研究发现:中国有42.6%的行业面临汇率风险暴露,资源品行业受到汇率冲击的影响最为严重,可贸易品行业受益于人民币兑美元贬值,但汇率的敏感性远低于日美贸易战时期。中国有38.9%的行业面临来自美国的产业竞争,产业支持政策在一定程度上增强了中国产业的竞争力。除美国外,中国的产业竞争主要来自英国、法国等欧洲发达国家。在此基础上,讨论了后疫情时代企业国际化的困难和应对。本文的研究对于汇率风险管理和产业政策制定有重要的参考价值。

The effects of soil properties, cropping systems and geographic location on soil prokaryotic communities in four maize production regions across China

The diversity of prokaryotic communities in soil is shaped by both biotic and abiotic ***,little is known about the major factors shaping soil prokaryotic communities at a large scale in *** this end,we undertook a study to investigate the impact of maize production cropping systems,soil properties and geographic location(latitude and longitude)on soil prokaryotic communities using metagenomic techniques,across four distinct maize production regions in *** all study sites,the dominant prokaryotes in soil were Alphaproteobacteria,Gammaproteobacteria,Betaproteobacteria,Gemmatimonadetes,Acidobacteria,and ***-metric multidimensional scaling revealed that prokaryotic communities clustered into the respective maize cropping systems in which they *** analysis(RDA)showed that soil properties especially pH,geographic location and cropping system jointly determined the diversity of the prokaryotic *** functional genes of soil prokaryotes from these samples were chiefly influenced by latitude,soil pH and cropping system,as revealed by RDA *** abundance of genes in some metabolic pathways,such as genes involved in microbe–microbe interactions,degradation of aromatic compounds,carbon fixation pathways in prokaryotes and microbial metabolism were markedly different across the four maize production *** study indicated that the combination of soil pH,cropping system and geographic location significantly influenced the prokaryotic community and the functional genes of these *** work contributes to a deeper understanding of the composition and function of the soil prokaryotic community across large-scale production systems such as maize.

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal community assembly in the Brazilian tropical seasonal dry forest

Introduction:Here,we compare the arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal(AMF)community composition in soils from the root zone of the exotic invasive species Prosopis juliflora(EXO soils)and soils from the root zone of the native species Mimosa tenuiflora(NAT soils)from five locations in the Brazilian tropical seasonal dry forest,Paraíba,Brazil,using morphological ***:AMF community composition in EXO and NAT soils were *** phosphorus,diversity index,spore abundance,and species richness were the main factors differing between the EXO and NAT *** general,the most dominant order present in the soils were Glomerales(44.8%)and Gigasporales(41.4%).The most abundant AMF genus in all studied soils was ***:Differences in AMF community composition were associated with(1)differences in the dominant plant species(*** ***)and(2)changes in soil chemical factors(soil,pH,total organic carbon,total nitrogen,and available P)in EXO *** results contribute to a deeper view of the AMF communities in exotic soils and open new perspectives for ecological processes involving AMF species and exotic plant species in the Brazilian tropical seasonal dry forest.

The limited treatment options for advanced prostate cancer(PCa)lead to the urgent need to discover new anticancer ***,an isomer of glucose,has been reported to have an anticancer effect on various ***,the anticancer effect of mannose in PCa remains *** this study,we demonstrated that mannose inhibits the proliferation and promotes the apoptosis of PCa cells in vitro,and mannose was observed to have an anticancer effect in mice without harming their *** of intracellular mannose simultaneously decreased the mitochondrial membrane potential,increased mitochondrial and cellular reactive oxygen species(ROS)levels,and reduced adenosine triphosphate(ATP)production in PCa *** treatment of PCa cells induced changes in mitochondrial morphology,caused dysregulated expression of the fission protein,such as fission,mitochondrial 1(FIS1),and enhanced the expression of proapoptotic factors,such as BCL2-associated X(Bax)and BCL2-antagonist/killer 1(Bak).Furthermore,lower expression of mannose phosphate isomerase(MPI),the key enzyme in mannose metabolism,indicated poorer prognosis in PCa patients,and downregulation of MPI expression in PCa cells enhanced the anticancer effect of *** study reveals the anticancer effect of mannose in PCa and its clinical significance in PCa patients.

相邻分离-2(adjacent-2 segregation)在平衡易位携带者的配子形成中属于较为少见的分离方式。报告1例严重胎儿生长受限并伴染色体异常胎儿，联合G显带染色体核型分析、染色体微阵列分析（chromosomal microarray analysis,CMA）、荧光原位杂交（fluorescence in situ hybridization,FISH）、定量荧光聚合酶链反应（quantitive fluorescent polymerase chain reaction,QF-PCR）等多项技术进行产前诊断。羊水CMA结果为arr[hg19]18p11.32q11.2(141,354-21,994,637)×3,21q11.2q21.3(15,502,777-29,700,071)×1，参考CMA结果，胎儿核型分析结果描述为46,XX,+der(18)t(18;21)(q11.2;q22.1),-21。为验证胎儿核型异常来源，检测父母外周血染色体，胎儿父亲核型为46,XY,t(18;21)(q11.2;q22.1)，孕妇核型正常；FISH结果显示羊水细胞有2条正常18号染色体、1条正常21号染色体和1条衍生18号染色体，父亲为18号染色体长臂与21号染色体长臂相互易位携带者。为了排除胎儿2条正常18号染色体是单亲二体的可能，利用母血污染鉴定的结果，通过短串联重复序列（short tandem repeat,STR）位点验证出胎儿的2条正常18号染色体仅1条来自母亲。所以，应用多项检测技术联合诊断相邻分离-2等少见分离方式，能帮助临床医生为平衡易位携带者提供准确的产前遗传学咨询，明确其胎儿染色体异常的类型。

Correlation between Iron Reducibility in Natural and Iron-Modified Clays and Its Adsorptive Capability for Arsenic Removal

The study reports aspects that allowed to correlate structural and redox properties of iron species deposited on clay minerals with the capacity of geomaterials for arsenic removal. Natural ferruginous clays as well as an iron-poor clay chemically modified with Fe(III) salt (ferrihydrite species) were investigated as adsorbents of the arsenate(V) in water. The study, carried out from minerals from abundant Argentinean deposits, was conducted with the aid of different techniques such as X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM-EDS), Raman Spectroscopy, ICP-AES (Inductively Coupled Plasma) chemical analysis and Temperature Programmed Reduction (TPR). This last technique allowed to detect availability of iron species in oxidic environment with different structural complexity and to determine active sites, accessible for arsenate(V) adsorption. The effect was observed through temperature dependence of the first Fe(III) reduction step (below 570°C) of iron-oxide species. The sequence of reducibility: ferrihydrite > hydrous oxide (goethite) > anhydrous oxide (hematite) > structural iron in clay was in agreement with the availability of iron active sites for the reducing process as well as for the arsenate adsorption. The important role of very high iron content in original samples was also observed. The chemical activation of iron-poor clay by a simple and feasible modification with Fe(III) solutions promoted the deposition of the ferrihydrite active phase with an increase of 2.81% (expressed as Fe2O3) respect to the original content of 1.07%, constituting an accessible and eco-friendly technological alternative to solve the environmental problem of water containing arsenic.

Extracellular vesicles(EVs)from mesenchymal stromal cells(MSCs)have previously been shown to protect against brain injury caused by hypoxia-ischemia(HI).The neuroprotective effects have been found to relate to the anti-inflammatory effects of ***,the underlying mechanisms have not previously been *** this study,we induced oxygen-glucose deprivation in BV-2 cells(a microglia cell line),which mimics HI in vitro,and found that treatment with MSCs-EVs increased the cell *** treatment was also found to reduce the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines,induce the polarization of microglia towards the M2 phenotype,and suppress the phosphorylation of selective signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3)in the *** results were also obtained in vivo using neonatal mice with induced *** investigated the potential role of miR-21a-5p in mediating these effects,as it is the most highly expressed miRNA in MSCs-EVs and interacts with the STAT3 *** found that treatment with MSCs-EVs increased the levels of miR-21a-5p in BV-2 cells,which had been lowered following oxygen-glucose *** the level of miR-21a-5p in the MSCs-EVs was reduced,the effects on microglial polarization and STAT3 phosphorylation were reduced,for both the in vitro and in vivo HI *** results indicate that MSCs-EVs attenuate HI brain injury in neonatal mice by shuttling miR-21a-5p,which induces microglial M2 polarization by targeting STAT3.
