Downregulation of Serum PTen Expression in Mercury-Exposed Population and PI3K/AKT Pathway-Induced Inflammation

Objective This study investigated the impact of occupational mercury(Hg) exposure on human gene transcription and expression, and its potential biological *** Differentially expressed genes related to Hg exposure were identified and validated using gene expression microarray analysis and extended validation. Hg-exposed cell models and PTen lowexpression models were established in vitro using 293T cells. PTen gene expression was assessed using qRT-PCR, and Western blotting was used to measure PTen, AKT, and PI3K protein levels. IL-6 expression was determined by *** Combined findings from gene expression microarray analysis, bioinformatics, and population expansion validation indicated significant downregulation of the PTen gene in the high-concentration Hg exposure group. In the Hg-exposed cell model(25 and 10 μmol/L), a significant decrease in PTen expression was observed, accompanied by a significant increase in PI3K, AKT, and IL-6 ***, a low-expression cell model demonstrated that PTen gene knockdown led to a significant decrease in PTen protein expression and a substantial increase in PI3K, AKT, and IL-6 *** This is the first study to report that Hg exposure downregulates the PTen gene, activates the PI3K/AKT regulatory pathway, and increases the expression of inflammatory factors, ultimately resulting in kidney inflammation.

Experimental and numerical simulation study on the erosion behavior of the elbow of gathering pipeline in shale gas field

During the production period of shale gas, proppant particles and rock debris are produced together,which will seriously erode the elbows of gathering pipelines. In response to this problem, this paper takes the elbow of the gathering pipeline in the Changning Shale Gas Field as an example to test the erosion rate and material removal mechanism of the test piece at different angles of the elbow through experiments and compares the four erosion models with the experimental results. Through analysis, it is found that the best prediction model for quartz sand-carbon steel erosion is the Oka model. Based on the Oka model, FLUenT software was used to simulate and analyze the law of erosion of the elbow of the gas gathering pipeline under different gas flow velocities, gas gathering pressure, particle size, length of L1,and bending directions of the elbow. And a spiral pipeline structure is proposed to reduce the erosion rate of the elbow under the same working conditions. The results show that this structure can reduce erosion by 34%.

Association between the HOTAIR Polymorphism and Susceptibility to Lead Poisoning in a Chinese Population

This study explored the association between the lncRNA HOTAIR polymorphism and susceptibility to lead poisoning in a Chinese population. We speculated that lead poisoning caused elevated levels of oxidative stress, which, in turn, activate the HOTAIR gene to cause apoptosis. Three lncRNA HOTAIR tagSNPs（rs7958904, rs4759314, and rs874945） were genotyped by TaqM an genotyping technology in 113 lead-sensitive and 113 lead-resistant Chinese workers exposed to lead. Rs7958904 was significantly associated with susceptibility to lead poisoning（P = 0.047）. The rs7958904 G allele had a protective effect compared with the C allele and reduced the risk of lead poisoning（P = 0.016）. Rs7958904 may act as a potential biomarker for predicting the risk of lead poisoning and distinguishing lead-sensitive individuals from lead-resistant individuals.

Compliance motion control of the hydraulic dual-arm manipulator with adaptive mass estimation of unknown object

Given the limited operating ability of a single robotic arm,dual-arm collaborative operations have become increasingly *** with the electrically driven dual-arm manipulator,due to the unknown heavy load,difficulty in measuring contact forces,and control complexity during the closed-chain object transportation task,the hydraulic dual-arm manipulator(HDM)faces more difficulty in accurately tracking the desired motion trajectory,which may cause object deformation or even *** overcome this problem,a compliance motion control method is proposed in this paper for the *** mass parameter of the unknown object is obtained by using an adaptive method based on velocity *** to the difficulty in obtaining the actual internal force of the object,the pressure signal from the pressure sensor of the hydraulic system is used to estimate the contact force at the end-effector(EE)of two hydraulic manipulators(HMs).Further,the estimated contact force is used to calculate the actual internal force on the ***,a compliance motion controller is designed for HDM closed-chain *** position and internal force errors of the object are reduced by the feedback of the position,velocity,and internal force errors of the object to achieve the effect of the compliance motion of the HDM,i.e.,to reduce the motion error and internal force of the *** required velocity and force at the EE of the two HMs,including the position and internal force errors of the object,are inputted into separate position *** addition,the position controllers of the two individual HMs are designed to enable precise motion control by using the virtual decomposition control ***,comparative experiments are carried out on a hydraulic dual-arm test *** proposed method is validated by the experimental results,which demonstrate improved object position accuracy and reduced internal force.

Intelligent laser-induced graphene sensor for multiplex probing catechol isomers

Herein,we unveil the intelligent detection of multiple catechol isomers in complex environments utilizing both laser-induced graphene(LIG)and artificial neural network(ANN).The large scale-up manufacturing of LIG-based sensors(LIGS)with three-electrode configuration on polyimide(PI)is achieved by direct laser-writing and screen-printing *** LIGS shows excellent electrochemical performance toward catechol isomers,i.e.,hydroquinone(1,4-dihydroxybenzene,HQ),catechol(1,2-dihydroxybenzene,CT),and resorcinol(1,3-dihydroxybenzene,RC),with a low limit of detection(LOD)(CC,0.079μmol/L;HQ,0.093μmol/L;RC,1.18μmol/L).Moreover,the ANN model is developed for machine-intelligent to predict concentrations of catechol isomers under an interfering environment via a single *** six unique parameters extracted from the differential pulse voltammetry(DPV)response,the machine learning-based regression provides a coefficient of correlation with 0.998 and is able to correctly predict the total and individual concentrations in complex river ***,this work provides a guide for the preparation and application of LIGS via facile and cost-efficient mass production and the development of an intelligent sensing platform based on the ANN model.

BACKGROUND In the current World Health Organization classification,acinic cell carcinoma(AcCC)of the breast is considered a rare histological subtype of triple-negative breast *** of the few reports in the literature,data concerning clinical outcomes are ***,we report a case of AcCC of the breast in a 48-year-old woman.A 48-year-old woman with a mass in her right breast came to our hospital for further *** and an ultrasound(US)scan showed a mass in the upper inner side of the right *** then underwent surgery to resect the mass in her right *** pathological examination revealed that the tumor had abundant acinar-like structures formed by tumor cells with prominent eosinophilic granules in the cytoplasm,consistent with acinar cell *** results of immunohistochemical analysis supported the diagnosis of breast acinar cell *** months later,she underwent breast-conserving surgery and sentinel lymph node *** pTNM stage was *** surgery,the patient received 30 radiotherapy *** patient was followed up for a period of one year,and no recurrence was *** of the breast is a rare type of malignant *** it is usually asym-ptomatic and can be detected by imaging studies,routine breast US or mamm-ograms are ***,there are no characteristic diagnostic imaging findings or clinical manifestations,so immunohistochemical examination is critical for an accurate diagnosis of AcCC of the breast.
