In the present study we report the micellization behavior of imipramine hydrochloride(IMP)in absence and presence of different concentrations of inorganic salts(LiCl,NaF,NaCl,NaBr,and KCl)and ureas(urea and thiourea)over the temperature range from 288.15 to 303.15 *** critical micellization concentrations(cmc)of drug and drug+additive systems were determined by conductometric technique. With increasing temperature the cmc first increases then *** cmc values were obtained at 293.15 K with or without *** presence of inorganic salts the cmc value decreases which is explained on the basis of nature and ion size of the added *** and thiourea also decrease the cmc at low concentrations(0.2 mmo·lL -1 urea and 0.1 mmo·lL -1 thiourea),but,at higher concentrations,increase in cmc is *** related thermodynamic parameters are also evaluated and discussed.

High-density brines have been recognized beneficial for oilfield applications,with various key areas such as drilling,completion and formation ***-density brines can play a critical role in the development and production of oil and gas reservoirs during the primary,secondary,and tertiary recovery ***-density brines can enhance the mobility and recovery of the oil in the reservoir by controlling the density and ***,a less attention has been given to the application of high-density brine in the area of reservoir *** review is shedding light on a concise overview of reservoir development stages in association with the recovery *** addition,most possible applications of high-density fluids have also been reviewed in the field of the reservoir *** summary,this review state that high-density brines can be used to stimulate reservoirs by hydraulic fracturing during the primary recovery ***,the risk of increased interfacial tension,which relies on the density difference of two fluids,can trap more residual oil relative to conventional water *** addition,high-density brines are effective in decreasing the mobility ratio and facilitating favorable displacement during polymer ***,they can be least effective in alkaline flooding due to the high IFT related to large density ***,it is suggested to consider the utilization of sustainable high-density brines by taking into account effective factors in petroleum engineering aspects such as stimulation,secondary recovery and polymer flooding.

In this study, the multistep method is applied to the STF system. This method has been tested on the STF system, which is a three-dimensional system of ODE with quadratic nonlinearities. A computer based Matlab program has been developed in order to solve the STF system. Stable and unstable position of the system has been analyzed graphically and finally a comparison as well as accuracy between two-step sizes with detail. Newton’s method has been applied to show the best convergence of this system.

An electrochemically pretreated silver macroporous(Ag MP) multiwalled carbon nanotube modified glassy carbon electrode(PAN-Ag MP-MWCNT-GCE) was fabricated for the selective determination of an antihyperlipidimic drug, pitavastatin(PST). The fabricated electrochemical sensor was characterized by cyclic voltammetry(CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS). The fabricated electrode was employed in quantifying and determining PST through differential pulse adsorptive stripping voltammetry(DPAdSV) and CV. The electrode fabrication proceeded with remarkable sensitivity to the determination of PST. The effect of various optimized parameters such as pH, scan rate(ν), accumulation time(t_(acc)), accumulation potential(U_(acc))and loading volumes of Ag MP-MWCNT suspension were investigated to evaluate the performance of synthesized electrochemical sensor and to propose a simple, accurate, rapid and economical procedure for the quantification of PST in pharmaceutical formulations and biological fluids. A linear response of PST concentration in the range 2.0×10^(-7)–1.6×10^(-6)M with low detection(LOD) and quantification(LOQ) limits of 9.66 ± 0.04 nM and 32.25 ± 0.07 nM, respectively, were obtained under these optimized conditions.

随着世界的快速发展,一次采油和二次采油的产油机理逐渐难以满足全球石油需求。在常规的一次采油和二次采油作业后,大量的原油被留在储层中。为了开采出这部分原油,目前许多三次强化采油机制开始被设计和利用。由于全球原油需求及其昂贵的价格,人们对提高石油的采收率产生了浓厚的兴趣。通过一次采油生产的原油体积占20-30%,并且通过二次采油,其可以高达40%,并且通过三次采油,其可以达到60%或更多。因为气体的粘度低和对地层引起的较小的伤害,注气是提高采收率的合理的方法。与其他气驱相比,二氧化碳驱是世界上广泛使用来最大限度地提高产量的第二种方法。特别是当一次采油和二次采油导致储层压力耗尽时。二氧化碳驱可用于砂岩和碳酸盐岩地层。通过将二氧化碳注入储层,它将降低油的粘度并使油膨胀,因此提高了其波及效率。二氧化碳驱可以在水驱后作为三次强化采油机制或作为二次采油机制,达到非混相,混相和近混相。由于二氧化碳浓度增加及其对全球变暖的影响,二氧化碳驱通过减少许多来源的二氧化碳排放,为未来的增长创造了更多的潜力。使用二氧化碳来提高采收率可以有助于减少二氧化碳排放,并且可以从储层中提取额外的油并且可以减少温室效应。在传统地层中已经报道了几次关于CO驱的实验和模拟研究。该研究的总体目标是对二氧化碳驱进行全面研究,以提高采收率。更确切地说,目标是通过全面的模拟研究来了解CO驱油的采油机理和出现的问题。

Physical properties of composite propellants used in solid rocket motors change significantly with age. To predict the margin of safety and to reevaluate the remaining service life, the structural integrity analysis of solid propellant grains of aged rocket motors is performed at various stages of their life span. To have the reliable results from these analyses, it is mandatory to use the current physical properties of the propellant at the time of analysis. Change in physical properties due to aging is more significant at exposed surfaces. Traditional methods of assessing current physical properties may not truly rep resent the properties of the batch. The paper presents a novel technique to measure the stress strain response at the exposed surface of propellant grain using a miniature-testing device. This specially designed device is able to measure the stress response while the propellant surface is compressed at a constant rate. This measured stress strain behavior is then co-related with the physical properties measured by routine tensile tests of the similar type of propellant which is aged artificially. It is observed that there exists an excellent correlation between the measured stress values by the sensor and physical properties measured by uni-axial tensile test. This nondestructive technique provides properties of propellant grains of all the motors in the batch comprehensively. The technique is safe as well as economical as compared to the traditional methods.

Evidences show that the storage period greatly affects the quality of *** this study,three types of yogurt:control yogurt(CY),non-hydrolyzed potato powder yogurt(PPY)and enzymatically hydrolyzed potato powder yogurt(EHPPY)were prepared at 42℃ for 5 h and stored for 28 days at 4℃.The yogurts were evaluated for quality characteristics at different storage *** differences in pH values,titratable acidities and viable counts were detected in all three types of yogurt during ***,compared to other yogurts,EHPPY exhibited desirable water holding capacity,throughout the storage *** from this,sensory properties and antioxidant activities(2-diphenyl-1-picryl-hydrazyl(DPPH)free radical scavenging activity and ferric reducing antioxidant power(FRAP))of EHPPY were also significantly improved during the storage ***,the storage(G’)and loss(G”)modulus of PPY,EHPPY were lower than CY at 4℃ while a hysteresis loop was shown by all yogurts at the temperature range of 4-50℃ indicating higher G’(elasticity)than G”(viscosity).Based on our findings,EHPP could be an important functional ingredient in improving the quality and storage stability of yogurt for its production at an industrial level.

This study was particularly designed to evaluate the physico-chemical parameters and polarization value of raw sugar which ultimately affect the filterability of raw sugar. Six different raw sugar samples were collected from the local industries and were evaluated for the physico-chemical and polarization value. The physico-chemical characteristics of sugar including moisture, reducing sugar, ash contents, size of crystals and color constituents were assessed. The results obtained from physico-chemical analysis showed that these parameters were affected significantly among the samples of raw sugar. The ash contents were found to be decreasing for the samples in the order of T6 > T1T2T5 > T3T4. The values for the polarization were significantly the highest in sample T5, T2 and T1 followed by sample T4 and T6 while the lowest values were recorded for sample T3. It can be concluded from the results that sample T4 was observed to have a good quality while sample T6 had the opposite result to that of sample T4 and was considered to have a very low quality.
