The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the large Hadron collider,as Standard Model measurements and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATlaS collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATlaS *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.

In this work, we present a study of etching rates, reflectance and photocarrier lifetime measurements for silicon surfaces etched in acid and alkaline solutions and passivated by nitridation of the etched surfaces in a plasma enhanced chemical vapour deposition system. The layers can be applied as antireflection coatings in silicon based solar cells. A temperature control of the acid solution (HNO/HF/HO) and variations of the chemical compounds concentrations in the alkaline solution (NaHcO/NacO/HO) are used to modify the etching rates. It is found that the formation of anisotropic or isotropic macropores on the silicon surface can be obtained by both kind of etching solutions and it is only dependent on the etching rate and etching time. In the case of the acid etching, the results reveal that for temperatures under 10℃and short etching times, the low etching rates produces pore walls preferentially oriented in the direction.

Perovskite-type structures with the composition la Ni x co1–x O3（x=0.3, 0.5, 0.7） were synthesized by a modified sol-gel method. Using transitional metal elements on the lanthanum base perovskites, properties could be tuned by doping the structure. Thermogravimetric analysis（TGA） evidenced a temperature of 350 °c as the start point of the perovskite-phase formation. Scanning electron microscopy（SEM） images showed the microstructure changes（grain size） of the cobalt-doped perovskite due to composition. In addition, it was shown that magnetic properties of the samples were dependent of cobalt content; experimental results pointed to the existence of disordered spins interactions, which were more evident with the decrease of cobalt content and the existence of ferromagnetic coupling among spins of the samples. These results showed the feasibility of producing a family of compounds with the desired properties, manipulating composition and therefore the microstructure.

desensitization is a process characterized by the loss of cellular response to an agonist when this is present for a long time. α1d-adrenergic receptor (α1d-AR) desensitization is important since this receptor is involved in the contraction of large caliber arteries, such as the aorta. The aim of this research was to evaluate the desensitization of α1d-AR due to the endogenous release of norepinephrine in cultured rat aorta. Wistar rat aorta was incubated for 2 h or 24 h in dMEM at 37°c, and then subjected to isometric tension and the action of added norepinephrine, in concentration-response curve (cRc). In some experiments, BMY-7378 (α1d-AR antagonist) or 5-methylurapidil (α1A-AR antagonist) was used to identify the α1-AR involved in the response, or BMY-7378 to protect the α1d-AR from desensitization. Results showed that α1d-AR was desensitized when the aorta was incubated for 24 h, since the cRc to exogenous norepinephrine showed lower maximal contraction and the curve was displaced to the right, indicating that the receptor involved in contraction was not the α1d-AR, as compared to the aorta incubated 2 h. The receptor stimulated by norepinephrine at 24 h was neither the α1A-AR, as shown by the lack of displacement of the curve by 5-methylurapidil, but rather it seems that α1B-AR is inducing contraction. When the aorta was incubated with BMY-7378 for 24 h, the α1d-AR antagonist protected the receptor from desensitization. Endogenous norepinephrine desensitizes α1d-AR in the cultured aorta, and the α1d-AR is protected by BMY-7378.

Ar/N2/cH4 glow discharge at low-pressure are studied in a closed system. The plasma was produced in 79.6% N2-15.4% Ar- 5.0% cH4 ternary mixture at pressures between 0.5 and 10.0 Torr. The diagnostic has been made by optical emission spectroscopy （OES）. The principal species observed were： N2, N2＋, cH＋, cN, c2, c3, HI3, Ha, c＋ and At. It presents the behaviour of the bands and lines intensities as a function of the pressure. Also, it displays the ratios of intensities of N＋2 （391.44 nm）, cN （392.08 nm）, and H （486.13 nm） to that of the N2 （337.13 rim） as function of pressure. The ratios show a slow decreasing behavior as a function of the pressure. Being the cH/N2 ratio more highest and H/N2 ratio the lowest one. The variations of excited species at different pressures may change the subsequent chemical reactions in the gas phase significantly. The present results suggest that the ion-molecule and molecule-molecule reactions in the gas phase are likely to play a dominant role in the present pressures.

Autonomous agents are an important area of research in the sense that they are proactive, and include: goal-directed and communication capabilities. Furthermore each goals of the agent are constantly changing in a dynamic environment. Part of the challenge is to automate the process corresponding to each agent in order that they find their own objectives. Agents do not have to work individually, but can work with others and develop a coordinated group of actions. These agents are highly appreciated, when real time problems are involved, meaning that an agent must be able to react within a specific time interval, considering external events. Our work focuses on the design of a multi-agent architecture consisting of autonomous agents capable of acting through a goal-directed with: a) constraints, b) real-time, and c) with incomplete knowledge of the environment. This paper shows a model of collaborative agents architecture that share a common knowledge source, allowing knowledge of the environment;where we analyze it and its changes, choosing the most promising way for achieving the goals of the agent, in order to keep the whole system working, even if a fault occurs.
