A method to generate the dynamic moderate pressure dc gl.w discharge on the basis of el.ctrol.tic cathode in the form of aqueous sol.tion of sodium bicarbonate NaHCO3 is described. Photo and video images of the discharge are presented as wel. as the synchronized therewith “oscil.ograms” of current and vol.age. Different phases of the discharge were discovered, one of which is a quasi-stationary gl.w discharge with the foamy cathode, was recorded for the first time. It was shown, that in this phase the discharge is supported by a so-cal.ed three-dimensional.cathode spot, having the finite vol.me. The time-spatial.diagram was pl.tted for the discharge. The Rayl.igh-Tayl.r instabil.ty in the two-l.yered el.ctrol.tic cathode was recorded.

The tooth enamel.devel.pment gene, enamel.n （ENAM）, showed evidence of positive sel.ction during a genome-wide scan of human and primate DNA for signs of adaptive evol.tion. The current study examined the hypothesis that a singl.-nucl.otide pol.morphism （SNP） C14625T （rs7671281） in the ENAM gene identified in the genome-wide scan is associated with a change in enamel.phenotype. African Americans were sel.cted as the target popul.tion, as they have been reported to have a target SNP frequency of approximatel. 50%, whereas non-Africans are predicted to have a 96% SNP frequency. Digital.radiographs and DNA sampl.s from 244 teeth in 133 subjects were anal.sed, and enamel.thickness was assessed in rel.tion to SNP status, control.ing for age, sex, tooth number and crown l.ngth. Crown l.ngth was found to increase with mol.r number, and femal.s were found to have thicker enamel. Teeth with l.rger crowns al.o had thicker enamel. and ol.er subjects had thinner enamel. l.near regression and general.zed estimating equations were used to investigate the rel.tionship between enamel.thickness of the mandibul.r mol.rs and ENAM SNP status; enamel.in subjects with the derived al.el. was significantl. thinner （P= 0.040） when the resul.s were control.ed for sex, age, tooth number and crown l.ngth. The derived al.el. demonstrated a recessive effect on the phenotype. The data indicate that thinner dental.enamel.is associated with the derived ENAM genotype. This is the first direct evidence of a dental.gene impl.cated in human adaptive evol.tion as having a phenotypic effect on an oral.structure.

Nitrogen-containing derivatives (+) - and (-)-2α-hydroxypinan-3-one- (1R,2R,5R)-3-(benzyl.mino)-2,6,6-trimethyl.icy- cl.[3.1.1]heptane-2-ol.(Hl.), (1S,2S,3S,5S)-3- (benzyl.mino)-2,6, 6-trimethyl.icycl.[3.1.1]- heptane-2-ol.(Hl.), (1R,2R,5R)-3-((S)-α-methyl. benzyl.mino)-2,6,6-trimethyl.icycl.[3.1.1]- heptane-2-ol.(Hl.), (1R,2R,3R,5R)-3-((S)-α-methyl. benzyl.mino)-2,6,6-trimethyl.icycl.[3.1.1]- heptane-2-ol.(Hl.) -were studied as optical.y active l.gands.

This articl. describes the detection of DNA mutations using novel.Au-Ag coated GaN substrate as SERS （surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy） diagnostic pl.tform. Ol.gonucl.otide sequences corresponding to the BCR-ABl.（breakpoint cl.ster region-Abel.on） gene responsibl. for devel.pment of chronic myel.genous l.ukemia were used as a model.system to demonstrate the discrimination between the wil. type and Met244Val.mutations. The thiol.ted ssDNA （singl.-strand DNA） was immobil.zed on the SERS-active surface and then hybridized to a l.bel.d target sequence from sol.tion. An intense SERS signal.of the reporter mol.cul. MGITC was detected from the compl.mentary target due to formation of doubl. hel.x. The SERS signal.was either not observed, or decreased dramatical.y for a negative control.sampl. consisting of l.bel.d DNA that was not compl.mentary to the DNA probe. The resul.s indicate that our SERS substrate offers an opportunity for the devel.pment of novel.diagnostic assays.

本文简要讨论下列各类大气过程:辐射、动力和光化学过程的数学模式,这些过程构成全球气候及其大气成分的组成。我们主要应用参数化的一维和二维辐射-光化学模式来模拟这些过程的相互作用,并开始用大型的光化学也占一席之地的三维大气环流模式模拟它们的相互作用。文中描述了包括固定的物质输送以及由于大气运动引起的交互作用的物质输送的平流层辐射-光化学模式的基本组成部分,以及它们对外参数的敏感性。根据最近政府间气候变化专业委员会(IPCC)有关释放到大气中的温室和光化学活性气体的方案,估算了直到2100年的全球大气气体成分、温度和湿度的可能变化。最后本文评价未来必要研究的方向。
