When simulating or designing plate heat exchangers for multicomponent mixtures, most designers are often perplexed with the question on how to choose or estimate the physical property param- eters and hope to have a reliable database that could be adopted. The commercial codes HYSYS supply the physical property package on over 1500 pure substances and over 16 000 binary coefficients for them. This work has briefly presented an efficient communication interface based on the Microsoft Component Object Model （COM） between inner plate heat exchanger simulation codes and the HYSYS package. The application of a custom-made HYSYS-COM interface has shown high efficiency, such as significant reduction of time needed for evaluating each process stream＇s properties. This automation method can be conveniently extended to further optimization study for any specific operation device such as heat transfers, columns, and other facilities.

Study on Wall Temperature Distribution of Oscillating Tube

The wall temperature distribution and heat transfer process of the oscillating tube have been investigated in thispaper using both numerical simulation and experimental method. The wall temperature of oscillating tube increasesrapidly in the inlet and then decreases slowly, moreover, the rally phenomenon of wall temperature nearthe closed end is observed. With the increase of jet flow frequency, the highest wall temperature increases and thelocation of that moves towards the inlet. The velocity of pressure wave in the oscillating tube almost remainsconstant even its intensity changes. The quantity of heat transfer between the gas and inner wall of the oscillatingtube determines the wall temperature of every location, and the pressure wave disturbance can cause the heattransfer quantity change. Each pressure wave has its own disturbance range. The wall temperature distribution canbe explained by the change of pressure wave intensity and its disturbance time. Besides, the step and rally of walltemperature are discussed, which shows that the conditions of heat transfer can be improved due to intersection orreflection of pressure waves.

The gas and wave＇s motion in a receiving tube are investigated numerically and experimentally in the present paper. The results show that, velocity of the contact face rises rapidly as gas is injected into the receiving tube, and then drops sharply after a steady propagation. However, velocity of the wave in the tube is almost linear and the wave can be reflected at the close end of the receiving tube. With increasing of inlet pressure, velocity of the wave and steady velocity of contact face also increase. There is obvious thermal effect as the wave sweeps the gas. The reflected wave can heat the exhausting gas in the open end. As an absorber, an expander and a shrink in the robe can almost completely absorb the reflected wave.

As a novel generation of a rotational gas wave machine,the wave rotor refrigerator(WRR)is an unsteadyﬂow device used for refrigeration,in whose passages pressured streams directly contact and exchange energy due to the movement of pressure *** this paper,the working mechanism and refrigeration principle are inves-tigated based on the one-dimensional unsteadyﬂow theory.A basic limitation on main structural parameters and operating parameters is deduced and the wave diagram of WRR to guide designing is *** main inﬂuential factors are studied through an *** the DUT Gas Wave Refrigeration Studying and Development Center(GWRSDC)lab,the isentropic efﬁciency can now reach about 65%.The results show that the WRR is a feasible and promising technology in pressured gas refrigeration cases.

Feasibility of Intermediate Fluid Vaporizer with Spiral Wound Tubes

A novel intermediate fluid vaporization (IFV) technology for LNG re-gasification process with spiral-wound heat exchanging tubes is proposed. The new IFV project combines the advantage of running the shell and tube heat exchangers at high pressure with the advantage of compact space of heat exchangers. Thermal analysis on the two processes of forced convection and vaporization type heat transfer in the spiral wound tubes and vapor condensation /re-boiling type of heat transfer via intermediate fluid in shell side shows the feasibility of this promising technology.

Numerical Simulations on Geometrical Properties of Wall-attaching Transonic Jet

Effects of operating conditions and device's geometrical sizes on geometrical properties of wall-attaching transonic jet between two parallel plat plates are numerically simulated. Conclusions are as follows: 1) Upriver part of the wall-attaching jet's center streamline is in good accordance with parabola; 2) When both gas inlet pressure and outlet pressure as well as their ratio are not too high ( the outlet pressure is less than 10 MPa and the pressure ratio is less than 3), the center streamlines of the wall-attaching jet with the same pressure ratio coincide with each other very well, and the deflection degree of the center streamline decreases with rise of the pressure ratio; 3) The deflection degree of the jet's center streamline decreases with either broadening of nozzle's throat or rise of wall offset; 4) With rise of the pressure ratio, attachment distance of the jet increases, but the increase rate descends; 5) The attachment distance ascends with rise of either the nozzle's throat or the wall offset.

Gas Flow in Unilateral Opening Pulse Tubes Based on Real Gas Equation of State

The real gas effect is dominant at high pressure and low temperature, and it is modeled by complex equations of state other than perfect gas law. In the vicinity of liquid-vapor critical point, the real gas exhibits unusual gas dynamic behavior. In the present work, a transient wave fields in unilateral opening pulse tube is simulated by solving the Navier-Stokes equations incorporated with the Peng-Robinson thermodynamic model. The computational fluid dynamics （CFD） results show a remarkable deviation between perfect gas model and real gas model for contact interface and shockwave. The wave diagram based on the real gas model can help to solve the problem of offset design point.

利用化学溶液沉积法在Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si（100）基片上制备了Bi6Fe（2–x）NixTi3O（18）（x=0,0.5,1.0,1.5）薄膜,研究了不同Ni掺杂量对Bi6Fe2Ti3O（18）薄膜微结构和铁电性能的影响。X射线衍射和Raman光谱测试结果表明：当Ni掺杂量x=1.5时,薄膜仍能保持单相结构,晶格畸变和薄膜压应力随Ni掺杂量分别逐渐增大和减小。Ni掺杂薄膜具有Aurivillius相陶瓷材料典型的不规则扁平状颗粒。随着Ni掺杂量逐渐增加,薄膜的Ps和Pr先增大后减小,而Ec和漏电流逐渐增大。Ni掺杂导致的Bi6Fe2Ti3O（18）薄膜晶格畸变增加,薄膜压应力减小和氧空位浓度增加是引起薄膜铁电性能变化的主要原因。

新型高效中部阻波腔式气波管性能研究

气波制冷机气波管内的运动激波,在管内封闭末端将反射回行。若反射激波回到气波管开口端,会加热已膨胀制冷的开口端气体,严重降低制冷效率。考察分析已有高效的末端吸收腔式气波管,其衰减和阻止反射激波的效果还不理想,因此提出了一种中部阻波腔式气波管结构。通过对管内运动波系的对比分析,揭示了该中部阻波腔的综合作用机理:不只是对反射激波进行阻减,还能将其重新折回气波管后段,且将部分入射激波反射成膨胀波,与逃出阻波腔的反射激波相抵消,共同遏制反射激波回到气波管开口。CFD数值模拟表明,与已有广泛应用的末端吸收腔式气波管相比,新型气波管可使高于第二高效注气频率对应的制冷效率相对提升7%~11%,波谷提升约18%,使制冷效率曲线趋于平坦;而将中部阻波腔与已有的末端吸收腔共用,组成双腔式气波管,还能使低、中频注气时的制冷效率相对提高6%~8%,效率曲线更平。又以单管模型机实验测量对比三种型式气波管的制冷效率,证明了新型气波管的高效和效率曲线的平坦性能;实验三种气波管制冷效率幅度的差别和趋势,以及效率峰值、谷点所对应的注气频率,都与模拟结果相符。
